Block of flats with commercial space

The topic of this bachelor thesis is elaboration of a comprehensive project documentation for a construction of an apartment building with a commercial area. The building consists of a partial basement, four floors and a flat roof. There are caged storage units for each apartment and technical facilities in the basement. The ground floor features the commercial area that offers yoga studio along with a massage spa. The building boasts 11 apartments of various size options such as 1-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom. Vertical construction pillars are made of grinded Porotherm bricks while the basement has reinforced concrete walls. The floor is made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The building facade is ventilated covered with cemented threaded tiles and mineral insulation from stone wool.

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is design of mixed-use building in Brno. It is terraced house in the district of Brno-Líšeň on the parcel between Novolíšeňská street and Josefy Fiamonové street. Building has mostly housing function and there is also cafe and fitness centre. Desing of the building is based on the sloping terrain and construction system. Overground part of the building consists of containers from firm Intecon, underground part is designed from reinforced concrete. Object has three main mass and they copy the terrain in floor plan (object is open to south around contour line) and also in section, only lowest part protrude from the slope like console. In the north part of building is placed cafe, fitness centre and entrance into the stacket parking and it schields housing part from the busy road (Novolíšeňská street) and it is open to quiet south, where are flat‘s and cafe‘s terraces and they have a great view of Brno. Space between three main parts is filled with a stacket parking in the north and in the lowest floor there are places for all residents. Facade combines white, grey and black color. White render signs housing part, grey render signs part of services and because of using diverse windows in the north part, there is a black facade, perforated continuously according to interior lithing needs and it unite the north facade. On the side facades there are square windows in diferent sizes and there are also container constructions shown ahead of the surface and it gives some system to the facade. Southern facade is mostly glazed and in the lowest floor there are vertical windows.

The diploma thesis deals with the project documentation of the multifunctional house in Uherské Hradiště on plot no. 712/7 in the cadastral area of Uherské Hradiště. The building has two floors and a basement. On the ground floor there is a commercial area and a café. Office space is designed on the second floor. The building is designed as a skeleton with filling masonry, with a flat roof and is insulated with ETICS contact insulation system.

The subject of my diploma thesis is a project of a new mixed-use building in Košetice. This building connects more functions. It is going to be partly office, partly educational center with accommodation and one part will be used as a flat for building keeper. The building is L-shaped. Parking will be realized in front of the building near an access road. Behind the main part of the house, there is designed outdoor theater. The building has two aboveground floors. The enterence part is single-storey with vegetation roof. There is designed a saddle roof - wooden truss. The vertical peripheral structures are provided with an insulation system from mineral wool with ventilated space, the load-bearing structure is made of clay. The horizontal bearing structures are designed as monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The project is created in a simple way to harmonize with the surrounding countryside.
Multifunctional building in Brno - Líšeň

The subject of this thesis is the design of a mixed-use building. The construction site in Brno – Lí s en is surrounded mostlý bý blocks of flats, separated from them on two sides bý primarý streets. The site slopes down under the angle of 24,6°. The building establishes a cafe , which is missing in the area, otherwise the building comprises of mostlý duplex apartments with terraces. The design strives to connect to the local road network and topographý as much as possible. According to these preconditions, the form emerged as a terraced, three-storeý building with flat roofs. The design respects the terrain and follows the height lines, which minimizes the excavations and eliminates the need to transport earth to external dumps. The terrain also creates a roof for the parking lots, which are hidden under the ground. The entrances to apartments are located in the ground floor, except for one, which is located in the basement, which is partiallý submerged into the ground on its west side. The façade consists of arch lamellae. This natural material is chosen to preserve the atmosphere of the place, which is one of the onlý trulý green areas in the center of the district.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to design new mixed-used building in Drásov. This building is situated on the outskirts of the town. The mixed-used building is design as detached building with four-storey and with partial basement. In the basement there are technical utilities, small storages and meeting room. On the firt floor there are commercial space as shoe store, sports equipment, household goods and hourer´s shop. On the second floor there are two separeted office premises. On the third and four floor there are eight flats. On the each foor there are four flats type 3+kk. Structural system of the building is design from ceramic masonry type Therm and from permanent formwork. There are ceilings from prestressed concerete floor slabs. The roof of the building is design as single-layer flat roof.

The master thesis designs a low-energy mixed-use building in Dolní Kralovice. The thesis consists of three parts, architectural-construction part, environment technology of building and energy assessment report to a photovoltaic power plant. The building has two above-ground floors and a basement under part of the building. The basement includes sanitary facilities and utility room, ground floor includes a restaurant and small sports hall and first floor offices. The building is founded on reinforced concrete foundation slab and foundation pads. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed as a frame system with shear core. Horizontal load-bearing structures are designed as cast-in-place reinforced slabs. External wall is designed from aerated concrete blocks with and mineral wool insulation. The building has a flat roof. In the building is air condition and cooling system and heating is with geothermal heat pumps with a borehole collector. Part of electricity demand is covered by photovoltaics on the roof. The thesis was developed in Revit software.
