Design of permanent magnet generator
Štencl, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis deals with electromagnetic design of synchronous generator with permanent magnets. The aim of this work is verify already made prototype of generator, which after testing has problem with warming of permanent magnets and winding. The work includes electromagnetic design of the machine, simulation through RMxprt and comparison with prototype of generator. The thesis includes also simulations operating conditions through Maxwell 2D and Maxwell 3D.
Design of synchronous spoke motor
Kopecký, Jan ; Bulín, Tomáš (referee) ; Knebl, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis is focused mainly on the theoretical research of permanent magnet synchronous motors. In addition, various methods of designing the motor‘s magnetic circuit are discussed and their advantages and disadvantages are compared. The reluctance network method is analyzed more thorough, because this method is used for motor designing process. In the last part the results obtained by reluctance network are compared with the results evaluated by finite element method.
The detection of the rotation direction of a fuel pump
Matějásko, Michal ; Vejlupek, Josef (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and commissioning of a device for detection of the rotation direction of a DC fuel pump. The rotation direction is calculated on the basis of change of magnetic field during its movement. Detection of the rotation direction will be applied in manufacture at possible supply cables confusion testing. Thesis is carried out in cooperation with industrial partner.
Simulation models of electromagnetic fields in electric machine
Michailidis, Petr ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This project is dealing with simulation´s posibilities of elektromagnetic fields in elektric machines. A finite element method is the final element technique. The content of this project is a model creation and elektromagnetic simulation of asynchronous machine.
Antenna design for ULF- Low-level magnetic measurements
Škoda, Martin ; Kříž, Tomáš (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
The present work deals with the design and study of the sensing element (antenna) for ultra low level measurements of low frequency magnetic fields. At the first, it considers the propagation of electromagnetic fields and form of propagation of electromagnetic waves. Then, using Ansys Maxwell are simulated by three models sensing elements. At the end of thesis, two antennas are implemented and conducted laboratory measurements with them.
Construction of BLDC motor with outer rotor
Smrž, Ondřej ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
This work is focused on the construction of the BLDC motor with outer rotor . Its mission is to become familiar with the design, basic relationships, applying this type of motor, the design procedure of magnetic circuit with permanent magnets, and then design the engine. Then there is a verification of designed motor finite element method. Finally, it summarizes the characteristics and parameters of the proposal and will compare the initial design with the other two designs, with some changes in the stator teeth.
Accurate wattmeter for measure power loss in feromagnetic controlled AVR
Smutný, Martin ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Roubal, Zdeněk (advisor)
Electronic wattmeters excel in very small (up to negligible) own consumption. The basiccomponents of these devices is the multiplier - a circuit whose output voltage is proportional to the product of input voltage. Wattmeter is a device that contains two coils, one of which is the current coil voltage and the second coil. Current coil is connected in series with the measured electrical circuit and the voltage measuredparallel to the coil circuit. Current flowing through the coil current causes a magnetic field is proportional to the current flowing through the phase shift and. Electromagnetic fields of both coils influence each other in case of measurements in a DC circuit, the resultingdeflection proportional to both voltage and current. When measured in AC electrical powercircuits can be determined using the effective values of current and voltage, and their mutualphase shift. A magnetic induction B can be determined using mean values. An analog multiplier are circuits, that are realized multiplication of two analog signals. They can be made by suitable connection (according to function) discreet parts. Nowadays there are integrated circuits in advance function, whose internal structure is made by complex of circuits with operating ampfliers and other circuits. These circuits have a very high accuracy of arithmetic operation which is mostly better than 1%. The analog multiplier are used in situation, when we need realize multiplication, division, exponentation, square root extraction and logarithmic calculation of analog signals.
Accuracy assesment of underground spaces electromagnetic localization method
Skulina, Radim ; Machotka, Radovan (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this diploma work is accuracy assesment of underground spaces electromagnetic localization method and comparison with results made by Ing. Matin Šklíba in 2006. Existing Purpose-built geodetic control Býčí skála and previous measuring for past 15 years was used for accuracy assessment.
Analysis and design of the AC machines winding.
Vorel, Luboš ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Běloušek, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on an analysis and design of an AC machines windings. In the theoretical part of the thesis, differences between single-layer and double-layer windings are explained. Next, the properties of a stator winding of synchronous machines are described. Finally, the winding factor is determined by means of a standard calculation method and by means of a new progressive calculation method, too. In the experimental part of this thesis, the stator winding of a high-speed synchronous generator excited by permanent magnets on the rotor is designed. This generator is driven by a steam turbine.
Stray losses in magnetic material in the end of stator packet
Kopecký, Ivo ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis examines the magnetic field and magnetic flow at the end of the stator synchronous machine. This problem is solid using nonlinear magnetic resistive network, which is simulating by PSpice software. A simple model of stator, consisting of stator plates, air gaps and the two-thumbs, which hold the stator together. All of this is replace magnetic nonlinear resistive network, which is then divided into elements. According to these element is a simplified model solid and analyzed.
