Variant solution of concrete flat slab supported by columns
Fárková, Karolína ; Pulec, Vladimír (referee) ; Perla, Jan (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the design and assessment of a locally supported ceiling slab. The slab was designed in two variants: a reinforced concrete slab and a prestressed slab, both of which were subsequently approximately economically evaluated. To calculate internal forces, a 3D model was created using the FREM 5 program. The structural analysis was conducted using the finite element method and the method of equivalent frames. Both slabs were assessed for ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.
Ice Hockey Stadium
Čech, Martin ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Work deals with variant design of steel structure of ice hockey stadium located in Opava. It is a three-aisled hall with shape consists of intersection of ellipse and rectangle with dimensions 70 x 82m. The roof has cylindrical shape with approx. 50 m radius. The building is about 14 m high. Object is divided to three parts – main aisle and two side aisles. The main aisle contains of a rectangle of dimensions 40 x 42 m and two semicircles of radius approx. 20 m. Frames of main aisle are made of arc roof truss connected to steel plate columns. The side aisles with rectangular shape with dimensions 15 x 42 m are connected to main aisle. The structure of side aisle is made of a sloped roof truss. Longitudinal bracing and cross bracing are used to obtain spatial rigidity of the structure. Roof and wall cladding is made of Kingspan sandwich panels.
Modification of the WT10 aircraft for the fixed landing gear according to the CS-23 requirements
Kubiena, Jaromír ; Juračka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vaněk, František (advisor)
In this thesis, we deal with the design of a shock absorber variant for the type of main landing gear design of the aircraft WT10 Advantic. Then we focus on the design of the selected variant of the main landing gear. Next, we follow regulation CS-23 demands to calculate the load cases for the selected main lending gear. Then we design shock absorber based on the load during landing. We compile the equation of motion of the aircraft, which describes motion of the aircraft during landing, then we compute the equation. Finally, we focus on a stress analysis of the main landing gear and the shock absorber.
Training Sport Hall
Virág, Patrik ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis presents the structural design of a load bearing steel structure of training hockey hall. The building is located in urban area in Břeclav city. It’s a single-storey buiding with a ground plan dimensions of 36 x 72 meters. As the main material supporting elements was designed steel S355. Distance of individual frames is 6m. The roof deck is composed of structural layers used for most roof structures of this type. The supporting part of the roof deck consists of solid-purlins. The external walls of the hall consists of a metal sandwich type panels. The work consists of a static calculation, in which assessed individual sections and selected nodes, including anchoring. Calculations are performed according to standards EN.
Loading and Printing ASCII Numbers in FPGA
Závodník, Tomáš ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Bartoš, Václav (advisor)
The topic of this work is the issue of processing decimal numbers using binary hardware units. Making use of specialized hardware for this purpose is problematic due to both number systems being incompatible. The thesis is focused specifically on fixed point decimal numbers passed in the form of ASCII character strings and on the FPGA technology. The proposed solution lies in creating hardware units that allow sequential loading and printing of decimal numbers in the mentioned form digit by digit. In terms of the content of this work, it introduces suitable algorithms and describes the realization of the proposed units. It results in their efficient, configurable, portable and reusable implementation.
The Study of Logistic Conception of Distribution Stock
Kubala, Jakub ; Němec, Martin (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This master thesis “The Study of Logistic Conception of Distribution Stock” deals with global operation of distribution stock in its entire levels with target to design efficient communication methods with costumer and suppliers. Based on analyses of actual situation it effort to identify general poverties and find proper methods of it’s solution. First chapter is based on theoretical part. It explains basic logistical principals as one of the elements of each organization. Second chapter introduces Arcelor Distribuce CZ Company from work place way of look. Third chapter is dedicated to risk management as a theory of identification and evaluation actual or potential risks company may treat with. Fourth chapter the largest one defines particular issues company has to deal with and issues which block company’s way of growth. Further there are introduced steps heading to solve these problems. This thesis sets a target to identify and design solutions of main problems in communication in the first place, which block company’s natural evolution.
Pavilion for Modern Arts
Hýblová, Kateřina ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The assignment of my degree work was a proposal of two variants of the steel structure of a modern art exhibition hall. The ground plan dimensions of the structure are 52,5 x 24 m. The whole structure of the two variants is supported by two quadrilateral truss columns and the upper floor level is at a height of 8 m above the ground. The ceiling structure is set by the truss girders. The proposal of two alternative solutions and the assessment of the main structure support elements forms another part of the work. With a winning option then a solution of the selected details, working out of the detailed drawings of the solved joints and the creation of the workshop documentation of the selected parts is supposed.
Design of steel-concrete arch structure of footbridge over the river Svratka
Vraňanová, Veronika ; Marván, David (referee) ; Nečesal, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis was to project a design of arch bridge‘s framework over the Svratka river. This single-span bridge has the span of 52,5m. The framework is constructed from a pair of beams, suspended from the pair of beams bent towards each other. The bridge deck is coupled with steel crosspieces. The construction design was executed in computing programme Dlubal RFEM 5.07. The individual components of the framework were assessed in Microsoft Excel. The calculation considered the load of wind and pedestrians’ movement and their effect on the dynamics of the construction. The phases of development were also considered. Assessments of coupled cross-section, main beams of steel construction, tension systems and selected construction joints were executed in a static calculation. Moreover, a design of a bearing and a bridge plug joint. Finally, a drawing documentation and a final report were prepared in regards with the requirements. The construction design and its assessment were executed according to valid standards.
Load bearing structure of an exhibition pavilion
Janíková, Dita ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design load bearing steel structure of an exhibition pavilion. The grand plan dimensions are 36 to 36 metres and construction height is 9,5 metres. The construction is designed for the district of Brno city. In the structural anlysis there were the following main load bearing structural elements designed and examined: the solid purlin, solid side runner, panel gridertrusses, bracin and solid pillars. The structure was designed to fulfill the particular functionality but also the aesthetic and economic aspects. The thesis includes design documentation composed of layout drawing and drawing of selected details.
Parking Building
Máj, Matěj ; Perla, Jan (referee) ; Švaříčková, Ivana (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design and structural analysis of selected elements of a reinforced concrete multi-storey building. In the calculations the floor slab, foundation slab, retaining wall, column in 8NP and 2PP, ramp in 1PP. The static analysis of the structure was carried out in RFEM 5 calculation program, the checking is carried out by simplified manual methods. The work also includes drawings of the shape of the structure and detailed drawings of the reinforcement of the designed elements.
