Communication with external devices in laboratory
Vachna, Michal ; Kodyš, Peter (advisor) ; Lokoč, Jakub (referee)
In the present work the goal is to map present circumstances of computer infrastructure in the physical laboratory, examine the demands and problems at work in the laboratory such as data backup, remote control, disk space sharing, access organization of processes to external devices, version control of measuring application development, running processes on remote hosts. Assess existing solutions, consider the possibility of improvements and propose new solutions appropriate to the needs of the laboratory. As far as possible, in regard to the current operations of the laboratory, implement solutions to selected problems and requirements. The work has to be methodical material and guide for further development of the laboratory in the coming years.
Extensible Instant Messenger supporting collaborative drawing
Helcl, Jindřich ; Hnětynka, Petr (advisor) ; Keznikl, Jaroslav (referee)
In the present work we describe a tool for communication between two or more users called iNetPaint. The program supports creation of a shared picture. We can also extend the program by adding new painting tools. iNetPaint runs on the XMPP protocol, which enables us to communicate with other clients using this protocol, such as Jabber, Google Talk and others. This work contains documentation for users and for programmers, a summary of similar programs and differences between them and iNetPaint. Furthermore, the work describes how to create your own new painting tools - their definition and implementation.
Jabber/XMPP Robot for Reminder
Menšík, Petr ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The objective of this thesis was acquaint oneself with open IM network XMPP, its principles and working. This program aims to be automatic reminding machine on instant messanging network. It's work is organizing simple and repeated events.

Management and monitoring framework based on XMPP protocol
Vachna, Michal ; Poch, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kofroň, Jan (referee)
Nowadays there is lots of programs and tools available for monitoring and management. Each offers a set of features and user interface, which is often in the form of specific application. Tool developed in this bachelor's thesis attempts to prove that using the means such as XMPP protocol, it is possible to monitor and manage remote systems through a chat window in the IM client. Interactivity of XMPP protocol ensures rapid notification , which is very important to monitoring. The tool structure of the core with plug-ins allows users to extend functionality and to adapt it to their own needs.

Interactive Document Sharing
Jóba, Viktor ; Jurzykowski, Michal (referee) ; Mlích, Jozef (advisor)
The thesis deals with the real-time sharing and editing of text documents in the network. The synchronization of the document content for all users in the shared session is ensured by the algorithm of operational transformations. This method is described in the thesis in detail. The outcome of the thesis is a simple text editor that communicates over the network using the extended version of the XMPP protocol. One of the users creates a document sharing session in the editor and invites other users to cooperate on the rich text document that can be saved in HTML or exported into PDF.
Server Component of a Web Application for Instant Messaging with AJAX
Švirga, Václav ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to create a server component to an instant messaging web application. The theoretical part of the thesis describes common instant messaging services and technologies used for building web applications. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the design of the application architecture, the implementation and the connections between the components of the application via the API. The conclusion of the thesis covers evaluation of the application.
Jabber/XMPP Robot for Searching by Means of Google
Hrazdil, Jiří ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to get acquainted with principles and basics of Jabber/XMPP communication network and its open-source implementations, learn about Google web search application interface and implement a robot, which will respond to search queries sent via XMPP protocol with adequate search results acquired through SOAP.
Card Games Platform over XMPP
Pták, Ondřej ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (referee) ; Schmidt, Marek (advisor)
This thesis includes a design of a universal platform for creation of any classic card game and it's implementation. Parts of this thesis are: a client as a jabbim plugin, a platform for creating a card game server, communication protocol built over XMPP, one card game ("mau mau"). This game shows the possibilities of the platform and the easiness of developing games.
