Foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic
Vrtal, Vojtěch ; Novák, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vaňková, Lucie (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a definition of regional development and foreign direct investments. The practical part deals with an analysis of foreign investments in individual regions of the Czech Republic and monitors years 2010-2020. It also examines the impact on regions and the development of living standards. As an example of foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic is used a company BOSCH DIESEL, s.r.o.. Thesis focuses on one specific investment and examines its impact on the development of the Vysočina Region, more precisely of Jihlava District.
Parametric study of the absorption element of the frontal vehicle part from the passangers safety point of view during the frontal car collision
Stráník, Radim ; Kubík, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The main subject of this master thesis is the computational modeling of stress-strain analysis of the loaded front part of Toyota Yaris from the year 2010 using an explicit finite element method (FEM). The aim of this thesis is the assessment of resistance of the front part of the car (longeron) at the impact stress. This thesis describes the selection, editing, and creation of the computational model of longeron and simulation of the barrier collision. The objective of the thesis is to use a real vehicle, suggest modified longerons to be implemented in it, test various shape and material versions of the longeron and make their comparison.
Dispersed production and its influence on distribution network
Kácl, František ; Vybíralík, František (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with dispersed generation (production). The small electric power sources are connected into distribution networks. Types and principles of the small electric power sources are studied. The legislation framework concerning renewable energy sources utilization is described. These power plants have impact into distribution networks and therefore techniques for the source connection to distribution network are included in the thesis. The impact of the specific small source of electricity must be studied.
The influence of the Second Vatican Council on the Church's attitude to the world. Illustration on the theology of church history in the Czech lands during communism
OTÝPKOVÁ, Petra
The dissertation deals with impact of Second Vatican Council in attitude of the Catholic Church to World and it is illustrated in life of the Church in Czech countries in the course of communistic period, because of marginal differances between Church and World. Exploration of extraterrestrial body impact and UV-driven transformation of atmospheres of terrestrial planets
Knížek, Antonín ; Ferus, Martin (advisor) ; Kabáth, Petr (referee) ; Kopecký, Vladimír (referee)
Keywords: Exoplanets, Earth, Impact, Photochemistry, Infrared Spectroscopy, Atmospheric chemistry Impacts and photochemistry are two very important driving forces for chemical transformation of planetary atmospheres. While strong UV radiation produced by young stars continuously provides a significant amount of energy, impacts are one-time events with far-reaching consequences. Especially important are then impacts on young rocky planets, including the early Earth, because these planets are likely exposed to much higher impact fluxes, commonly called 'heavy bombardment'. This bombardment is the final echo of the turbulent planetary accretion and has prominent significance for planetary environments, e.g., the chemical composition and shape of the planetary surface, the chemistry of atmospheres, aerosol production, and likely the origin of life. Future observations of exoplanets by space telescopes, such as the James Webb Space Telescope or Ariel, as well as ground-based telescopes, such as the Extremely Large Telescope currently under construction in Chile, could determine whether this heavy bombardment represents a common scenario for the evolution of terrestrial planets. Both impacts and photochemistry can be efficiently simulated and studied in laboratory conditions by state-of-the-art methods....
Effects of Alcohol Use on the Family
KUCHTOVÁ, Adéla
In my bachelor's thesis, I focus on the impacts of alcohol on the family. Alcohol not only affects the individual but also has an impact on the family and its members. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out which topics are mentioned by family members in connection with a family member's alcohol use. To achieve this goal, a semi-structured interview method was used with communication partners. The communication partners are individuals whose family member uses alcohol.
Psychosocial aspects of pathological gambling
TRHLÍKOVÁ, Andrea
This bachelor thesis focuses on the psychosocial aspects of pathological gambling and examines the factors that can lead to this addiction; and thus its impact on the psychological and social spheres. The theoretical part describes the different classifications of addiction, gambling, pathological gambling including etiology, consequences of pathological gambling, treatment, prevention along with relapse and social work with pathological gamblers. In the practical part, a qualitative research strategy was used which included semi-structured interviews and content analysis of the data. The research showed that the factors leading to pathological gambling were many and it was not possible to pinpoint which factor caused the addiction, however, there were factors that kept recurring. Pathological gambling has a negative impact on the whole social sphere, such as family, partner and friendship relationships, employment, financial situation and hobbies. Similarly, pathological gambling has a negative impact on the psychosomatic state. Regarding the motivation of pathological gamblers to address their addiction or to enter treatment, research has shown that pathological gamblers are often unable to address their situation themselves and need external motivation and support to find solutions, as they initially downplay the situation and do not address it. However, external factors lead them to consider the behaviour and in the end they are internally motivated and actively address the seriousness of their situation. Research has also revealed some lesser-known phenomena that co-occur with gambling addiction, namely gambling delusions, attentional selection and the fact that the amounts wagered during relapse are much higher than before abstinence. The bachelor's thesis may represent a resource for extending and improving social work with pathological gamblers. This research can also serve as information material for the general public and provide a basis for further studies in this area.

Impact of companies' fluctuation on the selected region
KUBAL, Vít
The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the impact of companies' fluctuation on the South Bohemian region based on the analysis. This work analyses the influence of companies' fluctuation to evaluate its impact on individual economic variables. The examined economic indicators in this work are the number of registered entities, the number of active subjects, gross domestic product (GDP), investment rate, household consumption expenditure and net disposable income of households. These economic impacts are complemented by the social impact of the share of unemployed people. At the beginning, the thesis presents an overview of the issues addressed, including the definition of fluctuation and the introduction of individual examined impacts. This is followed by a methodological procedure in which the procedure of the next, analytical, part of the work is explained in detail. The end of the work contains the results of the analytical part, the proposal of measures and the conclusion.
