Analysis of financial module of ERP software in use

The aim of this thesis is to analyze financial module of ERP software Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 in use. With working experience and question survey among the users it's exploring functionality of the program in an existing company and analyzes functionality of it's financial module. After first introductory chapter follows chapter which describes ERP softwares in general, their history and development. The third chapter describes software implementation, application architecture of the company and implemented Axapta modules. The fourth chapter begins to examine the usage of Axapta financial module with question survey among it's users in the company. Then the fifth chapter discusses the existing problems and limitations. The sixth chapter is looking for solutions of problems from fifth chapter and for possible improvements of the Axapta financial module. Conclusion is summarizing all the thesis and evaluating the usage and functionality of Axapta financial module in the company.

Finanční analýza společnosti Vodovody a kanalizace Hradec Králové, a.s.

Práce analyzuje vývoj finanční situace společnosti Vodovody a kanalizace Hradec Králové, a.s. v letech 2001 až 2006. Úvod práce náleží teoretické části, která objasňuje strukturu, postupy výpočtů a způsoby hodnocení dosažených výsledků. Následuje praktická část práce. Ta na základě provedených výpočtů hodnotí finanční zdraví a úroveň finančního řízení společnosti. Na finanční analýzu navazuje srovnání podniku s průmyslovým odvětvím. V této části dochází k porovnání a vyhodnocení finanční situace společnosti v rámci celého odvětví. Závěrem práce shrnuje zjištěné skutečnosti.

Financial Planning in the Channel Crossings Company

This thesis deals with financial planning. On one hand with its theoretical handling, on the other hand with its particular application on a specific business, the Channel Crossings company. The main objective of the paper is to assess the process of the financial planning in this particular company and at the same time to identify, how this company uses the approaches known from the theory of financial management in practise. The information included in this thesis should be exploitable for the assessment of theoretical approaches to the financial planning, as well as for the management of the company in question how to re-evaluate and optimize the current financial planning process.

Cash management in broker company and in leasing company

The main subject of this thesis is the liquidity -- very important premise for long-term existence of every firm. The aim is to characterize financial management with emphasis on liquidity and cash management in two different firms. Two mentioned firms are quite specific -- broker company and leasing company. Because of this the key goal of this thesis is the analysis and evaluation of their liquidity, monitoring similarity and diversity in procedures which the firms use in cash management. The basic question is the evaluation of process of cash management in two mentioned firms, understanding of preferred instruments and identification if it is sufficient for stable financial solvency. The particular procedures and methods in cash management in two different firms are mentioned in this thesis. Attention is paid on working capital, liquidity ratios and other -- cash flow statement, plan of payment etc.

Financial management in multinational corporations

This thesis deals with specifics of financial management in multinational corporations. There are examples of the most interesting differences in management of multinational corporations compared to management of small enterprises operating in the area of one nation only, whereas more attention is applied to three chosen areas: financial software, achieving of cost saving and financial management of projects. The thesis tries to evaluate advantages and disadvantages of financial management in this kind of an enterprise. Theoretical findings are applied to an example of a multinational corporation Honeywell.

Finanční analýza umožňuje včas rozpoznat blížící se výrobní, odbytovou nebo finanční krizi, stanovit úroveň finančního zdraví podniku, zkvalitnit rozhodovací procesy řízení. Myslím si, že kvalitní finanční řízení se jen těžko obejde bez finanční analýzy. Proto se budu snažit ve své bakalářské práci komplexně posoudit úroveň současného finančního stavu ve společnosti SAZKA, a.s., posoudit vyhlídky na finanční situaci společnosti v budoucnosti a připravit podklady ke zlepšení ekonomické situace.

Analýza vzájemného vztahu zadluženosti a rentability vlastního kapitálu

Práce zkoumá závislost zadluženosti a rentability vlastního kapitálu podniku a faktory, které na ně působí. Věnuje se zkoumání optimální kapitálové struktury, průměrným nákladům, zlatým bilančním pravidlům, finanční páce. Zkoumá důvody zadlužování a jednotlivé zdroje financování podniku, hodnotí výhody a nevýhody zdrojů a jejich cenu, popisuje vliv různých způsobů financování a jejich nákladů na rentabilitu vlastního kapitálu.
