Proposal of Method for the Administration of Logistics Centres in the Conditions of the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with facility management. The first part handles facility management as such, its nature, basic concepts, historical development, instruments, ways of providing services and participants. Level of provided services in the Czech Republic is analyzed. Based on received knowledge of the field the other part is focused on detailed specification of facility management services provided in the area of logistic centers management. On the example of individual services there are described differences in management of logistic centres and possible solutions of these situations. The benefit of this thesis consists in providing a comprehensive view of logistics centres management and suggesting possible improvements.
Use of GIS at the Management of Photovoltaic Power Stations

The Thesis topic deals with the design and implementation of the system for photovoltaic power stations property administration. Due to the scope of the property administered, a solution using geographic information systems has been selected. Functionality of the designed system with data defined for the photovoltaic power stations were verified in the pilot operation. The results of the pilot operation proved efficiency and effectivness of the designed system.

A theme of this bachelor thesis is a finding of a way how to increase the long-term effectiveness and the prosperity of company which manages and entertain its own properties in centre of Brno within the frame of its enterprise activities. The bachelor thesis is patterned on the current situation of the facility management and definition of its eminencies and demerits. The basis of concept of the effective facility management is processing of the financial analysis and costs including its optimization. The main asset of my bachelor thesis is the description of the financial analysis and recommendation of the concepts for effective facility management in company.
Buildings facility management

This Master´s thesis is centered around facility management and the IT tools and supporting business activities it employs to create properly functioning company. The theoretical part describes key features of a building, its life cycle, necessary business costs involved, and the general description of activities and tools of facility management. The experimental part is based on questionnaire survey answered by respondents that actively implement facility management in their businesses. Crucial component of the experimental part is the evaluation of implementation of two CAFM systems in the Brno University of Technology and the mutual comparison of their properties.

Presented master thesis deals with topics regarding developing activities and developing process. Preface defines terms used in developing environment and in related activities. Following part proposes a design of developing company structure and describes members of a project team. This thesis also describes partial activities leading toward execution of developing project in all its phases. Following part defines factors contributing to the projects progress. Risk analysis and risk mitigation activities are also described. Furthermore, a description of a typical company is presented along with its needs for office area. To conclude with, design of property management is described with emphasis on management within the project.
Price of construction according to future user point of view.

Thesis "Price of construction according to future user point of view" is focused on the user's possibilities of the influence of the building value associated with the leife cycle. In the thesis explains what is facility management and what is it regarded to and life cycle of the building. On the example of building a house techniques are utilized facility management. Designed there are four deigned variants for which are calculated itemized budgets, the energy consumption of the building and other cost of life cycle of the building. At the end of thw work there are these variants compared and the result implies which one is the most suitable for a future user.
GIS in Building Practice

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of using the geographic information systems in construction practice with a focus on facility management of buildings. The goal is to show the possibilities of use and the advantages that GIS offers in the construction industry thanks to its analytical and visualization capabilities. In the theoretical part there are basic terms such as BIM, Industry 4.0, GIS and facility management described. Furthermore, the possibilities of using GIS in construction industry and facility management of buildings are addressed. In the practical part the procedure of creating a GIS database for facility management is processed, specifically on information model of BUT FAST campus premises.
Capacity Planning in Relation to the Technical State of Gas Facilities

Bachelor's thesis is focused on the process of capacity planning in relation to the condition of gas facilities in RWE Distribuční služby, s.r.o. It describes the process of inspection activities carried out on gas installations according to their technical condition, which is the starting basis for capacity planning of inspection activities, and compares theoretical knowledge with reality. The conclusion describes economic results related to the implementation of predictive maintenance based on technical condition evaluation.

Application of the principles of facility management for cost optimization of administrative buildings

The current civil engineering reality is showing disturbing fact that no profession are present in all phases the life cycle of a construction object. Is becoming increasingly evident need for interconnection of all participants of the investment process in all phases the life cycle of a construction object, and it is thanks to facility management. Facility management in the Czech Republic is still relatively new and continually develops. Facility management is introduced including the associated standards in this thesis.Thesis deals with the position of facility manager and define facility management principles. The proposed methodology for monitoring of the operational life cycle cost of buildings is also presented on the specific construction object. Defined facility management principles are then set in the context of cost management of the selected construction object. The aim of the doctoral thesis is to prove or disprove that the application of the facility management principles can optimize the costs of administrative buildings.
