This thesis deals with the reconstruction project management of the road. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of project management. It focuses on project phases and activities that belong to each stage. It describes the procedure for scheduling and other imnportant methods of the project management. The practical part deals with the application of theoretical knowledge and organization of the reconstruction project of the selected road.

In this work I focus on analysis of ongoing realization of projec „“Revitalisation of location „Na Kněžsku“ which is deal with reconstruction current retention reservoir in Kateřince and after that I use this finding direction about pre-realization stage of future project of construction of new reservoir with poder also in Kateřince in the area “Za pilou“. The aim of work is optimization course of action in this stage of project towards to time and money savings.

Application Support of Project Management for the Capital Construction of Power Plants

The master’s thesis deals with project management issues with a focus on the specifics of the construction of new and modernisation of old fossil-fuel and nuclear power plants belonging to ČEZ, a.s. It summarizes the project management methodology and standards and integrates them into a unified information system, thus creating a sound platform that supports all company projects in all stages of their individual life cycles. This thesis analyses the current status of the application support and proposes extensions to the information system, which significantly increase its value.

Software Support for Project Definition with Using of Logical Frame Method

The purpose of this work is to design and implement software support for Project Definition of LFM (Logical Frame Method). The first part is about project management and about necessity to use it for solving projects. There is description of phases of project and detailed description of logical frame method. In the second part there is system requirements analysis, description of the application via UML and implementation of application which was created in development environment Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 in C# language. There is a short summary, possible extensions and comparing with existing applications in the end of the work.

Commercialization of residential buildings

This thesis deals with the issue of commercialization of residential buildings. The theoretical part introduces the idea of the business cycle and its relation to economic crises. The theoretical part of this thesis also deals with the area of development and related financing and marketing development projects, which is applied subsequently to the practical part for the particular developer's residential project. In addition to the application of this theoretical knowledge is the analysis of a questionnaire survey among residential developers, which is the basis for analyzing the possibility of effective commercialization of residential development projects in the post-crisis period at different stages of the business cycle.

Economic and Financial Evaluation of the Development Project

The work deals with the evaluation of economic effectiveness and financial feasibility of the real development project. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristic of term of investment, describes its types and strategies, types of investment project and thein financing options. Then there are defined phases of an investment process and there are described the methods of an economic and financial evaluation of investment projects. In the practical part there is made the characteristic of project and its evaluation. It is structured into two parts. In the first part there is reviewed the real situation of financing and in the second part there is evaluated a variant with a measure for financing of the project. The project is evaluated at the end.

Planning of construction contracts by supplier

This diploma thesis deals with the planning of construction contracts from the perspective of a contractor. In the theoretical section, the basic concepts of project management are explained. Further, the methods and principles used in the management of the construction project of building a complex are described. The practical part contains a particular case where the methods are used to schedule a time during the course of construction and planning of the resources needed for implementation.
