Nonlinear Control of Complex Systems by utilization of Evolutionary Approaches
Minář, Petr ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
Control theory of complex systems by utilization of artificial intelligent algorithms is relatively new science field and it can be used in many areas of technical practise. Best known algorithms to solved similar tasks are genetic algorithm, differential evolution, HC12 Nelder-Mead method, fuzzy logic and grammatical evolution. Complex solution is presented at selected examples from mathematical nonlinear systems to examples of anthems design and stabilization of deterministic chaos. The goal of this thesis is present examples of implementation and utilization of artificial algorithms by multi-objective optimization. To achieve optimal results is used designed software solution by multi-platform application, which used Matlab and Java interfaces. The software solution integrate every algorithms of this thesis to complex solution and it extends possible application of those approaches to real systems and practical world.
Rámec Test Governance pro vývoj IS formou outsourcingu - procesy řízení softwarového vývoje v sociálním kontextu
Doležel, Michal ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Molnár, Zdeněk (referee) ; O Connor, Rory (referee) ; Bureš, Miroslav (referee)
[Context] Outsourced information systems development (ISD) represents an important and widely used software delivery strategy for mid-size and large non-IT companies. In such companies, testing activities are conducted by a contracted party, and are hidden from continuous checks on the part of the client, who is typically only provided with insight during the system hand-over. Such an approach is risky; the testing activities might be executed in a loose and sloppy manner by the contractor. Consequently, the risk of unsatisfactory quality may be shifted de-facto to the client, who will bear any negative consequences (e.g., project delays, increased effort) during user acceptance testing (UAT). [Objective] The main objective of this doctoral dissertation is to design and evaluate a management artefact - Test Governance Framework (TeGoF) - that can be used by the client company; the framework thus focuses on client's perspective on exercising control. To this end, the artefact is evaluated in the context of three outsourced ISD projects. [Method] The research is grounded in control theory, which originates in organizational studies. The principles of design science were applied in the development of the TeGoF, and the principles of ethnographically informed action research were used to evaluate the management artefact. This form of evaluation underscores the social dimension of the problem. In particular, the concepts of trust, control, and power are examined using an interpretive epistemological position. [Results] Of a total of three projects, the TeGoF was applied successfully in only one case. A detailed analysis describes the factors contributing to the difficulties implementing the TeGoF principles in the two remaining projects. The resulting interpretation stresses the fact that such difficulties were caused by differences among the contexts in which the evaluation took place. Specifically, there were varying dynamics of the abovementioned factors of trust, control, and power. [Conclusion] The contribution of this doctoral dissertation consists in (1) the development of the TeGoF as a tool that pinpoints significant limitations in the current research related to control issues in the domain of outsourced ISD; (2) the evaluation of the TeGoF and analysis of the key success factors; and (3) a proposal of a novel methodological approach combining design science research with ethnographically informed action research.

Kutal, Jiří ; Kaluža, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on general aircraft motion. Main terms connected to modelling continous systems, principles of control theory, linear systems, feedback systems and basic types of regulators are analyzed in the first part of the thesis. Second part mentions mathematical basics connected to modelling, mainly focused on differential equations and Taylor series. Reader can also find out about A/D and D/A convertors. The last part of this bachelor's thesis is dedicated to aircraft motion and the simulation of it's kinetic equations in TKSL program.
Real Time Dynamic System Control
Adamík, Pavel ; Kaluža, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the methodology of controlling dynamic systems in real time. It contents a review of the control theory basis and the elementary base of regulators construction. Then the list of matemathic formulaes follows as well as the math basis for the system simulations using a difeerential count and the problem of difeerential equations solving. Furthermore, there is a systematic approach to the design of general regulator enclosed, using modern simulation techniques. After the results confirmation in the Matlab system, the problematics of transport delay & quantization modelling follow.
Control Theory of robotic snakes with more than three links
Tejkal, Martin ; Návrat, Aleš (referee) ; Hrdina, Jaroslav (advisor)
The subject of this Bachelor's thesis is control theory of mechanism that simulates snake's movement. From a viewpoint of control theory the robot is classified as nonholonomic system, controllability of which is determined by vector fields. Based on nonholomic constrain a set of input vector fields is obtained from a system of nonholonomic equations. The other vector fields that are necessary for controllability of the system are derived from the set of input vector fields by application of Lie bracket operation on two input fields. This set of vector fields is further analysed in particular points of the configuration space. Finally we discuss changes that need to be done in order to describe a mechanism created by adding one, or more new links.
The solving of ordinary differential equations by means of the Laplace transform method
Klimeš, Lubomír ; Tomášek, Petr (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
The Laplace transform is a very powerful mathematical tool for solving of ordinary linear differential equations with constant coefficients. Its usage is wide - it can be applied to first order and also to higher order equations, it is very convenient for solving of differential equations with several forcing terms (including noncontinuous terms) and of course, it can be used for solving of systems of ordinary differential equations. The Laplace transform plays the key role in control theory, where the transformation of the differential equation of the control system enables to analyse the behavior of this system, e. g. its reaction to input values. Our aim was to present essentials of the Laplace transform theory and demonstrate this strong mathematical tool in the solving of concrete problems, including the usage of the software Maple.
Analysis of the state regulatory functions in czech energetics
Bretšnajdr, Jakub ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Zemplinerová, Alena (referee)
The subject of regulatory functions in Czech energetics became very up to date in recent years because of a recent exposal of state financial costs of the solar and wind power stations support. The subject is very interesting also because it's tempting to analyze theories about regulation of any sector considering the fact, that opinions of experts from theoretical and practical fields are very different. In theoretical part of this work there will be explained all necessary terms (economical and technical) and various regulation theories. Also subjects of regulation will be analyzed, meaning who is under the influence of state regulation. Principles of regulation in various states will be analyzed as well, so an international comparisment with Czech Republic will be available. In practical part of this work an analysis of the state's regulatory functions in energetics between the years 1989 and 2010 will be made. The status of the state's regulatory functions in the year of 1989 will be analyzed, that is, how the regulatory environment looked like, and on what the other authorities with regulatory functions followed. There will also be analyzed a law aspect defining the regulatory authority in Czech Republic between the years 1989 and 2010. Institutions with regulatory powers will also be described in this period of time. The last subject of the practical part of this work will be an analysis of the regulatory achievements. That means what decisions were made and on whose authority during the monitored period. The goal of this work is an analysis of the state's regulatory functions in energetics during the monitored period. That is between the years 1989 and 2010 describing the institutions responsible for regulation, the law aspects of regulation and the regulatory achievements themselves. If possible, some defects in the area of examination will be mentioned.
Sborník abstraktů sedmé mezinárodní PhD konference

The scope of the workshop is topically focused on the recent trend in cybernetics, namely, the support for decision making at higher hierarchic levels. This reveals the common feature of seemingly disparate contributions and topics, namely, the complexity.

Drdák, Jan ; Ševčík, Miroslav (advisor) ; Lipka, David (referee)
Předmětem práce je proces deregulace civilní letecké dopravy v euroatlantickém prostoru. Práce zachycuje regulaci a deregulaci z pohledu zájmových skupin.
Komparace keynesiánských a neoklasických teorií regulace bank
