Laser welding of the abrasive steel

The project, prepared by the engineering study compares the welding abrasive steel HARDOX 400, fiber laser welding method, which will be compared with a MAG welding method and using different protective gases (argon and helium). In the theoretical part, i worked both welding technology's and the issue of high-strength steel. In the experimental part were performed and evaluated by destructive mechanical testing and bending test, the transverse tension test, test macrostructure and microstructure of welds. In conclusion the thesis deduced the final results of the experiment.
Manual production of damask steel knives

The bachelor thesis deals with the production of damask steel and the subsequent manufacture of a knife. The theoretical part contains a technical description, the history of Damascus steel and its current use. The practical part includes a detailed design of the knife's own prototype, the technological process of damask steel production, grinding the shape of the knife, its heat treatment and making the handle. The result is the realization of the production of a damask knife according to the chosen technological procedure and the evaluation of the resulting prototype.
Robotic cell design for coordinated robotic welding

The aim of this thesis is to design a robotic cell with two welding robots and rotary table in two designs and to compare different types of control. These designed alternatives evaluate possibly using of its parts. These designed variants compare physically and financially.
Implementation of Registred Office of Company POLNA corp. s.r.o. in Třinec

This master´s thesis deals with construction-technological project of administrative-production and storage complex in Třinec - Oldřichovice. It´s a new building of the main building, consisting of a two-storey administrative building and a one-storey storage hall, which is complemented by other sub-objects. The master´s thesis solves the realization of the building as a complex whole and in more detail focuses on vertical and horizontal supporting structures, made of steel elements and steel-concrete ceiling structure. An integral part of the project include studies of the realization of the main technological stages of the main building, technological regulations, complemented by assembly schemes, solution of transport routes and proposal of machine assemblies, site equipment design, time schedules, budgets, inspection and test plans and proposal of security measures for selected risks. The work is further supplemented by a specialized area that prepares the design and execution of intra-areal reinforced communications.
Welding of socket from C-Mn steel

Final thesis, elaborated within the master study in the field of Manufacturing technology, deals with analysis and solving of weld cracking problem in welds of anti-roll bar socket for passenger car. Sockets material is fine-grained low-alloy steel S420MC. For better understanding of the problem, a literary study has been elaborated, describing the issue. Next, an analysis of parts material and its weldability, has been conducted, according to ČSN EN 1011-2 standard. After an analysis of cracks and considering current conditions of sockets welding a series of experiments has been designed to evaluate impact of different process parameters on final weld quality. Experiments results have been used to compile a series of recommendations for adjustment of the welding process and to eliminate weld cracking. The results of the experiments were used as a basis for elaboration of WPS protocol.
Design for production of lower part of charging station

This master’s thesis deals with a proposal of production technology of bottom part of charging station which is manufactured by DEL a.s. The component will be made of austenitic steel 17 349 which is 2 mm thick and its production series is 100 pieces a year. Punching and bending by MAG and TIG methods were chosen as the most suitable methods from the considered manufactoring technologies. Stud bolts will be welded by capacitor discharge. Based on the analysis of the technological calculations and the available machines in the manufacturing company was chosen that production is going to run through a punching press Pullmax 720, hydraulic CNC bending press OptiFlex 130 t 3,1 and welding sources TransPuls Synergic 3200, TransTig 1750 Puls and Nomark 65+. Technical and economical evaluation established cost calculation of semi-finished product material, welding wire, gaseous shield and stud bolts. The price of one piece is 3 117,70 Czech crowns.

Economy comparison of welding technology MAG and ESAB-SAT

This project, elaborated in terms of Master’s studies in domain 2303T005 presents an analysis comparing conventional method of welding MAG and welding technology ESAB SAT^TM. ESAB SAT^TM is the new innovative method based on the principle of welding by the method MAG. The experimental part of the project is aimed to assessing the quality of welded joints, produced by ESAB SAT^TM, which part is performing selected destructive tests. Afterwards economic analysis by comparative method evaluates the measured and calculated parameters of welding.
The options of the joining of tube components

The bachelor thesis deals with tube components joining methods. In the thesis, the preparation of the tube components is mentioned, as well as its tools and machines for cutting and adjusting the components. Furthermore, the work introduces several joining methods such as soldering and brazing, welding, pressing technology, adhesive bonding and threaded connection. The basic principle is described for each method, as well as using tools and machines plus advantages and disadvantages. In the end, the use of tube components is presented.
Stellite cladding on steel 1.4122

Master‘s thesis describes issues of stainless steel welding. The analysis carries out the stainless steel‘s state of art in term of welding, chemical composition, physical and mechanical properties. Experimet is based on cladding of Stellite alloys to martensitic stainless steel X39CrMo17-1. The practical part describes the used devices and carries out evaluation of specifically designed heat input, macrostructure and hardness.
