MES systems
Štrublíková, Iva ; Kantor, Tomáš (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
The content of the diploma thesis is a description of the functions and features of the production control systems - MES (manufacturing execution systems), an analysis of these systems implemented in The Czech Republic, an elaboration of the system proposal of an intelligent production control system and retrieving new algorithms and functions according to which these systems can by formed. The MES systems analysis is performed by comparing implemented systems to the modules of production control systems conformably to MESA international. In the system suggestion there will be the intelligent component formed by automatic analysis of the effect of the order delay in production - automatic Gantt chart comparison of the plan versus reality. According to the adjusted system parameters it will separately make decisions about production scheduling. Searching new algorithms and functions will proceed in the reagions of artificial intelligence - genetic algorithms, holonic and multiagent systems, experts systems.
Wireless Messaging System
Machatý, Jiří ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
This project proposal describes the involvement of a wireless pager. It describes the possibility of realization, block diagrams of the receiver and transmitter controlprogram for their individual and flowcharts. In the theoretical design are taken intoaccount the ease of use, durability and endurance of the battery function. Was chosenfor the realization of a suitable wireless module, with a sufficient range. The goal is todesign a suitable wireless pager with sufficient range, durability and reasonable price that could be used within a department or a house to call for help.
Assesment of the meaning of Polarization Mode Dispersion
Červenka, Vladimír ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Kyselák, Martin (advisor)
This thesis describes the most important types of distortions in fibre optics during transmission. They are divided into two main groups, linear and nonlinear. The linear phenomena consist of internal and external attenuation, different kinds of dispersions and negative effect of signal noise. The special attention is focused on polarization mode dispersion. The impact of the nonlinear phenomena on fibre optics in high date rate is discussed as well. Furthermore, the negative effects in fibre optics and their causes are deeply analyzed on results gathered from simulation of some transmission lines. There are presented many methods for counting the meaning of polarization mode dispersion, for example the theoretical model including implementation on physical layer and reducing power looses. Some examples of designing fibre optic lines are introduced along with calculation for them.
Lift unit for paste container
Mimochodek, Martin ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
The first part deals with the sorts and a separation of the fillers which are used in the food-processing industry. The second part more deeply describes various construction variants of the lift unit rotary piston filler, especially their properties, sort of the driving mechanism and an used components. Final system design is created in Autodesk Inventor 10.
Pension reform and its aspects in the electoral programs of czech parliamentary parties
Pintér, Ivan ; Izák, Vratislav (advisor) ; Pavlisová, Miroslava (referee)
The main theme of this Bachelor thesis is an analyse of the electoral programs of czech parliamentary parties with emphasis on pension reform. The goal of this work is to observe different views on pension reform across the political spectrum. Firstly the work determinates the possibilities of pension system funding and its current state in the Czech republic. Then the plans of pension reform from parliamentary political parties from 2004-2011 are presented. In the end the work describes the current situation of pension reform in 2011.
The design of the system of evaluation and remuneration employees in the company Suchanek & Walraven Ltd.
Krupička, Petr ; Campbell, Jan (advisor) ; Němec, Otakar (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation and remuneration employees. The theoretical part neatly summarizes the philosophies, trends and practices in evaluating and remuneration employees and in sub-conclusions it expresses the position of the author of this bachelor thesis to them. The content of the practical - the analytical part of this work is the analysis of the current state of the remuneration employees in the company Suchanek & Walraven Ltd. and the main goal of this thesis - the functional methodological design for developing the new system of remuneration employees, reflecting the conditions of the company, and its expressed needs for the future.
Evaluating Quality of Service Design
Hejl, Daniel ; Feuerlicht, Jiří (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
Service Oriented Architecture is a popular choice of system architecture and many organization are moving towards it in order to closely align IT capabilities with their business goals. They are expecting that the implementation of SOA will lead to increased efficiency, the ability to rapidly respond to changing business environments, and significantly improved return on investment. In order to meet these expectations, great emphasis must be given on correct service design. However, designing services in the way that they are highly reusable and the final product is highly maintainable can be especially challenging. This bachelor thesis focuses on summarization of how metrics for measuring structural properties of service oriented software designs can be used for predicting potential problems in service design. In the practical part of this thesis, a tool for evaluating a service design based on coupling between service interfaces was implemented and practical applicability of one of the metric was demonstrated.
Transformation of conceptual models into the information systems implementation
Vagner, Vlastimil ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Palovská, Helena (referee)
This thesis deals with the linkages between data models from conceptual models to physical design of information bases, used for implementation. The aim is to analyze the modern approach to design systems and specify how detailed the conceptual modeling and impact on the quality of the final form of application or system, including processes that take place in advance to the next level of design. Approximated the techniques the transition between these levels and will take into account structural features and limitations of selected platforms and requirements for their design and mutual coherence level view of the system. For the purpose of the thesis the well known data modeling methods are being analyzed together with their applicabilities.
Harmonisation of Identification Card Management Systems at the University of Economics, Prague
Říha, Jan ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Nenadál, Karel (referee)
This thesis deals with problems of identification cards at the University of Economics, Prague. Its primary goal is to consider and evaluate the possibility of a transfer of the ID card management into the ISIS system. The thesis consists of four parts. The first one offers a complex analysis of the ID card management at the University. The second one analyses two ID card management systems: the NESA system, which is being used at the University now, and the ISIS system, which could also be used for the ID card management. The third part includes a proposal of adjustments in the ISIS system, which would make its ID card management implementation comply with the University's needs. The proposal describes general features of the system, relations to its environs and a graphical user interface. Finally the last part covers the actual state of the project and its differences from the proposal offered in the thesis. Information sources for the thesis were legal norms, University regulations and internal documents as well as the author's knowledge and experience gained through several years of the NESA system maintenance and numerous consultations with the University ID card management staff and ISIS developers. The main assets of this thesis lay in the comprehensive view of the ID card management at the University along with the proposal of the new ID card management system, which is to be integrated into ISIS.
Motivational functions of management control system
Chroust, Petr ; Stránský, Jakub (advisor) ; Matyáš, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis deals with management control system and its motivational function. The theoretical part of the thesis briefly describes the management control system and its elements. It is mainly focused on the results controls. The main goal of the practical part of the thesis is the description of the incentive compensation system design in the company Klatovské zdraví, a.s. The compensation system is compared with the typical examples of the results controls mentioned in the professional literature. The advantages and problems connected with the implementation of the system are mentioned, as well. The practical part contains the description of the main features of the company's business environment (sale of pharmaceuticals), because selling these goods and human resource management in this branch underlies the notable government regulation, which affects the design and function of the results controls in the above mentioned firm.
