Energy sources and consumption

The thesis describes basic methods of producing energy and presents the basic division and characterize sources of energy. It compares and describes the production of energy in the Czech Republic and the United States of America. The thesis explains, where and how is this energy consumed and presents energy production and consumption in the Czech republic and in the United States of Amerika and provides a comparison of the two countries. Indicates the percentage of consumption in various sectors in these countries and the distribution of energy consumed by resource used. The thesis is also focused on the comparison of household consumption in the Czech Republic and the United States of America. It specifies the average household consumption of Prague and New York and investigates the causes of the difference in average household consumption of both countries.

Marketing Communication

The diploma thesis deals with marketing communication of a selected company Znovín Znojmo, a.s., which is operating in a scope of business of viticulture and winemaking. The diploma thesis is dived into three parts. The first one is theoretical part, which deals with theoretical findings on the issue, while it forms a theoretical framework for the analytical part. The second one is the analytical part, which describes the current state of the company as well as the marketing communication. The description of the company is accompanied by analyses of an environment and a survey. The third one is the proposal part, which describes proposals created to improve the marketing communication based on outputs of the analytical part.

The theoretical head of the thesis contains both the starting point of the marketing mix and the decription of its particular parts. The analytical head of the thesis contains the analysis of the marketing mix of the company and the marketing analysis. The proposal head conains proposals for improvement.

Web design of a construction company

This diploma Thesis deals with problematics of web design in civil engineering. Specifically, it focuses on the web design of a projective construction office. The basic concepts relevant to the problematics are defined in the theoretical part of this Thesis. The practical part begins with initial analysis which consists of an opening workshop with a client, a survey and competition research. Based on the analysis findings, target group and project direction are set. Following these steps, the web design is created. It consists of several parts – generation of ideas and possible solutions, information architecture, sketching, prototyping, prototype testing and graphic design itselfs, which is output of this diploma Thesis.

Design of Innovation Organizations Selected Sporting Events

The BA thesis focuses on a proposal for innovation of organization of a basket-ball tournament. The thesis consists of a theoretical and analytical part and the proposal proper. A survey was employed in order to investigate the relevant status of basketball-related activities in Slovakia. The thesis includes a detailed financial, marketing and management plan for the sporting event in question.
