Hydropower Control of Mostiště Reservoir
Bednář, Martin ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to propose a simplified way of controlling hydro-energetic function of the Mostiště reservoir. Controlling will be designed to maximize profit from the operation of the hydroelectric power plant and based on a simple analysis of the time course of the electricity price on the market. The proposed controlling will be simplified in the selected period using a simulation model.
Design of Electromagnetic Part of Vibration Power Generator for Low Frequency
Konrád, Libor ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The project deals with contemporary position of vibratory generators based on electromagnetic principle and optimal constructional solving of electromagnetic part of generator. Practical part is searching for suitable solving of construction of electromagnetic part of vibratory generator in the light of required power. Solving is brought to effect by the simulator simulation. Vibratory generator works in frequency range 17Hz. Final suggestion has to answer requirements of observance of frequency ranges, minimal power and simple production. Project includes simulation model as well as proposal of final form of modified generator.
Production System Simulation and Analysis
Hromková, Ivana ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The work deals with creating of simulation model of production system (foundry) and its analyze. Simulation of production systems is discussed in the introduction as well as basic principles and processes during simulation model making. Next chapter describes problems arise when such type of systems are solved. Next issue about virtual fabric is discussed. Information regarding virtual fabric has been obtained from Siemens conference. Follows views of simulation tools specialized on manufacturing systems. In last one chapter is taking up of implementation of simulation system. The whole process of creating of simulation model which consists of making conceptual model, abstract model, description of model making, analysis outcomes and experimentation with simulation model.
A Water Management Analysis of the Vlachovice Reservoir on the Vlára Watercourse
Rajsiglová, Veronika ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis focuses on a process of water management analysis of storage and protective function of the Vlachovice reservoir on the Vlára watercourse. The work contains an alternative proposal of the reservoir storage volume in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet program with accessible functions whereby progression of arithmetic and logical algorithm simulating operation of reservoir storage function is created. An alternative proposal of protective volume of the reservoir is created in HYDROG program, where calculations of transformation of flood waves for PV 100, PV 1 000, and PV 10 000 are performed. Moreover, the work includes simplified analysis of the hydropower potential of the proposed reservoir.
Simulation of technologies for thermal treatment of waste
Venhoda, Tomáš ; Kropáč, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
This thesis mainly deals with the thermal treatment of waste - hazardous waste incineration and energy recovery municipal waste incinerators - their descriptions and analysis of legislative conditions. The flue gas cleaning system energy production in different operating modes is assessed by energy and mass balances. Computational models are developed for this purpose. On this basis, productions of energy from thermal treatment of hazardous and communal waste were compared.
Water management analysis of reservoir under climate change
Smolík, Lukáš ; Benáčková, Kateřina (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of impacts of climate change on the water reservoir. The work consists of several partial steps. The first step is the calibration of the balance of the hydrological model to the current climatic and hydrological conditions. The next step is the construction of hydrological time series burdened by climate change. That the calibrated model was compiled, it must be used calibrated balance model and climatic data loaded climate change. Selected emission scenario used in the work of the emission scenario RCP4.5 the final step of the work is to analyze the reservoir volume by using the simulation model of the tank and its evaluation in view of possible future climate change. The functionality of the described procedures will be verified for the analysis of impacts of climate change on the reservoir capacity of the reservoir in the defended Hanušovice profile in the Morava river basin.
The Design of a Rules for the Hydropower Control of a Dam Reservoir
Bednář, Martin ; Kříž, Tomáš (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to create an algorithm by which it will be possible to devise management rules. These management rules will be able to advise a more efficient use of the hydroenergetic potential of reservoirs with run-of-river small hydro. The actual algorithm will be created with a view to maximizing the profit from the operation of the hydropower plant and using the time course of electricity prices on the market. The rules designed by algorithm will be tested in a simplified way in selected period using simulation model.
A Software Model of an Intersections' Network with the Traffic Lights
Lankaš, Ondřej ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of traffic control using traffic lights. The aim of this work is to find the most effective method of traffic management using traffic lights in a particular road section using appropriate software tools. This includes creating a microscopic transport model and performing simulations to obtain and analyze relevant data.
WiFi Network 802.11b and Its Simulation
Martiš, Viktor ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This work deals with the technological background of wireless networks and the conceptual issues of their simulation. The introductory part provides a brief review of essential facts related to wireless networks and simulation flow. Furthermore, our work will focus on one particular type of such networks, which is governed by the standard IEEE 802.11b, also recognized as WiFi network. The actual simulation will be carried out by means of "The network simulator - NS2". Its general description is included together with some practical comments on possible deployment scheme. Then, we design a simple WiFi network which will be subjected to our analysis. The underlying topology was inspired by a real network scheme where the data traffic can be constatnly monitored and evaluated. Simulation of the proposed network was successsfully performed with help of the previously mentioned NS2 simulator. Script written in TCL language, which containted network definition and necessary control commands, served as the simulation input. The final part of this work contains a general summary of individual analyses and their comparison with real-life network performance.
CO2 removing from biogas
Kovář, Martin ; Niesner, Jakub (referee) ; Dvořák, Radek (advisor)
Research the Selexol, Rectisol, Fluor and Purisol technologies for the treatment of biogas to natural gas quality is the main job. The purified biogas must meet quality requirements, which sets out legislation Czech Republic. An important point is to build models of technology in the ChemCad software. Methods are analyzed with these models for the same output requirements. The result is to determine whether the technologies are suitable for biogas purification and implement, through research, simplified technical and economic evaluation.
