[Elko EP] Access Point for Wireless Control System of Electrical Appliances
Vrana, Ondřej ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This work is concerned with development of module for communication with intelligent instalation into houses system. The aim was to familiarize with the products of RF Control of  ELKO EP, s.r.o., USB bus and wireless communication components for the 868 MHz band. And afterwards, in cooperation with the ELKO EP company, to design an electrical scheme and printed circuit board motive of this module. For cooperation with the module and for the system components control an aplication was programmed. The application name is RF-AP USB.
XMPP Client Using Nokia Qt SDK
Vaňák, Tomáš ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Bařina, David (advisor)
This thesis describes the creation of application in a development environment Qt Nokia SDK. It emphasizes the differences between development of desktop applications and describes the steps necessary to create a functional mobile applications.  This thesis also describes the basics of XMPP protocol.  The resulting application is simple XMPP client.
Debugging Tool for Shaders
Konečný, Jiří ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with implementation of a debugging and development tool for GLSL shader programming. In the text, you will find design of the application and it's implementation in Qt library. The thesis also includes performance testing with GLSL shaders. Experiments were focused on commands of application control flow in GLSL and texturing commands used in shaders. In the thesis, you will find explanation of the functionality of some shaders used in OpenGL. Application developed in this thesis, is meant to help with implementation of graphic programs programmed in OpenGL 3.3 or higher.
Graphical user interface for filter design
Tesařík, Jan ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Pristach, Marián (advisor)
This work deals with design of program that allows to generate VHDL description from connection of filters. Its main aim is to create graphical extension on existing program and connect it to VHDL generator. Output from program will be XML file of created connection and generated VHDL description. Design of program was done by using Qt Framework environment and C++ language.
Modelling Particles in the Electromagnetic Field for High School Physics Course
Mudrík, Samuel ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about creating of educational tool - software program able to simulate influence of electromagnetic force on subatomic particles. First part contains requested attributes, it is followed by overview of existing solutions, specifications analysis and detailed description of development and implementation. In the last part there is summary of results and positives of this work.
Software for control and management of home automation
Michálek, Jakub ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis describes the development of an application for control and management of smart sockets at home. The first part describes the software that was used in creating this application. Specifically, the Qt application platform and the SQLite relational database system. The second part describes the structure and function of this application. The next part describes the application used to test the functionality of the created application and the designed communication protocol. The last part of the work describes the testing and evaluation of the created application.
Attendance System Terminal
Chmelař, Jakub ; Mráz, Ľubomír (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis deals with electronic attendance systems which are nowadays being widely used to record employee attendance. General problem of attendance tracking is introduced in first part of the thesis along with a conceptual solution of an attendance system terminal. Author then describes a circuitry and a PCB design of a baseboard for a Cubieboard2 minicomputer, a RFID reader and a touchscreen LCD display. After successful testing of said PCB, the terminal has been completed and it was possible to focus on a software solution. Latter part of the thesis is dedicated to a specifics of the Allwinner A20 platform and its support by a GNU/Linux operating system. In following chapter author describes use of a Buildroot software for creating a Linux based binary image for an aforementioned minicomputer. Since an operating system and a peripheral support were successfully tested author could focus on a design and implementation of an attendance software that is described in the final chapter.
Counting People on the FIT Foot Bridge
Maliňák, Václav ; Nečas, Ondřej (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to determining the number of moving object in video sequences. It explains principles and basic methods of moving object detection in video sequences. Methods such as LBP, optical flow and intensity histograms are mentioned, background subtraction method is examined more deeply. Afterwards, the principles of object tracking is explained, as well as possible methods of object counting. An important part of this thesis constitutes implementation of an application that was tested on videos capturing people at move over the FIT foot bridge. At the end of this thesis, application measure of success is evaluated.
Object Tracking in a Sequence of Images
Švancar, Boris ; Doležel, Michal (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with motion detection and object tracking in video sequence from static and dynamic cameras. The background subtraction method along with using of background updating and Lucas-Kanade optical flow method are introduced in my thesis as well. Both methods are implemented in the test application in the language C++ using OpenCV and Qt libraries and consequently both of them are tested. The results are evaluated in conclusion of the bachelor thesis.
Program for Interactive Family-Tree Making
Navrátilová, Eva ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of an application for interactive family-tree making. The application supports importing and exporting data in GEDCOM format, further editing of the data, visualizing the data in family charts and their export. The design of the program is modular. It is implemented using C++ and Qt. The program was released for testing amongst the group of Czech and Slovak genealogists and their opinions on the program were obtained and analysed.
