Environmentally advanced building of the municipal office in the city of Bojkovice
Šenkyřík, Adam ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis is to design nearly zero-energy building of the municipal office in the city of Bojkovice. In the first part an architectural and constructional solution was designed. The building has three above-ground floors. It has a flat green roof with skylights and photovoltaics. First floor includes reception, break room, archives, offices, meeting room, kitchenette, sanitary facilities and boiler room. Second floor consists of break room, archives, storerooms, offices and sanitary facilities. External load-bearing walls, internal load-bearing walls and partitions are made of ceramic blocks. Columns, girders, floor slabs and roof slabs are made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Cladding is insulated with ETICS. In the second part HVAC was designed. Heating is provided by gas condensing boiler. The building is mechanical ventilated by AC units situated in technical room in the third above-ground floor. Cooling is air-conditioned by fan-coil units designed in offices and conference hall, chillers are situated on the roof. The third part of the master thesis focused on design and comparison of various AC units. Drawings are processed in SW AutoCAD, calculations were made in Excel, the design of air-conditioning system and unit was made in SW Atrea DUPLEX 9.10, Aerocad and CLIMACAL.
State of photovoltaic in Europe Union
Kada, Tomáš ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
Present state analysis of photovoltaic in Europan union is aim of this semestral thesis. First part is focused on technical aspects - principals, components and applications. However economics, policy and development aspects are primary objective. Research of Europan comission targets in 2020 and feasible of meeting them are assessed by two various scenarios. To analyse microenvironment and macroenvironment SWOT nad PEST analysis are used. These analysis are focused for investors who wants to participate in the development of photovoltaic in Europan union.
Optimization of cooling the photovoltaic cell using CAE systems
Sodomka, Pavel ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the optimization of the concentrate photovoltaic cell cooling system through the CAE system. In the theoretical part, the thesis treats there the problematic of the photovoltaics and focuses on the concentrator cell and its problems coupled with the cooling system and the sink of heat. In the next theoretic part, it also analyses there the problematic of the conduit and transfer of heat. Moreover, the mathematical description of the fluid flow, the finite-volume method that is used in the SolidWorks Flow Simulation for the calculations, are also described there. In the practical part, the models and steps which depict precisely all the process of the heat cooling optimization are mentioned. All the proposed variants are mutually compared and put up for the discussion about their advantages and disadvantages. Lastly, the resultant model was also put through the simulation with the suggested radiational component that gave precision to the results. In the end of the thesis, there was made out the documentation of the final model drawings.
Design of a photovoltaic power plant for a family house near Olomouc
Juřička, Dušan ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the introduction to the components of a photovoltaic system and the creation of a specific photovoltaic system installed in a family house located north of Olomouc. The system is designed to meet the requirements of a family of four. Based on simulations and current market prices, the profitability of the entire system is evaluated. The financial return of the project and the possibility of a subsidy from the state are also considered. In addition, the future possibility of purchasing an electric car is included and the potential impact on the flow of energy within the internal power grid is simulated.
Environmentally advanced pension
Kovář, Martin ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a new building of an environmental metal boarding house for the elderly with almost zero energy consumption. The guest house is a free-standing building with four floors and a middle tube, which is five floors. The first floor is more accessible to the public, there is a cafe, a social hall, offices, but also a nurse's office or technical facilities. The second to fourth floors are used for housing seniors in separate housing units. The total number of seniors who can stay here is 60. The first part of the documentation deals with the building permit for the construction in question. The entire object is made of a masonry ceramic system, which are horizontally interspersed with a monolithic ceiling slab. The facade on the first floor consists of wooden paneling, on the 2nd floor to the 4th floor there is already a facade plastered with silicone plaster. The roof structure consists of two different types, namely a walkable extensive green roof and an operational one with a roof rack. The second part of the work is focused on the engineering of the building environment, where concepts for the building's water supply were created. Furthermore, the concept of loading rainwater was solved, which is solved by a system of accumulation in a concrete sump with an overflow into a soaking device. The use of rainwater for irrigation or flushing is considered here. Heat pumps (ground / water) were chosen as a source of heating and cooling, which provide us with heat in the winter and cold in the summer. DHW is solved as an indirect heating tank, which is heated by the already mentioned heat pumps. In order for the object to meet all the requirements of today's building, we had to install forced ventilation or cooling of individual rooms for ideal thermal comfort in the summer. The concept of photovoltaic panels and the design of suitable lighting in individual rooms were also dealt with in the given part. The last part of the thesis dealt with the assessment of the source of heat and cold with regard to the consumed energy, acquisition and operating costs. The result of the given energy assessment should be the selection of a suitable source for the building in question. Sowtfare used in the work: Autocad 21, Archicad 25, Lumion, Altrea Duplex, AeroCAD, Deksoft, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Test parameters and conditions of amorphous photovoltaic modules
Kostelník, Adam ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the problem of thin film solar cells, their parameters and measuring. The introductory chapter describes the properties of individual thin-film technology, summarizes their advantages against the crystalline silicon cell. Another chapter is exclusively focused on thin-film cells based on amorphous silicon. There is described the manufacturing processes of amorphous cells and modifications performed during the manufacturing. One part of master’s thesis is dedicated to the description of basic electrical quantities and PV cell degradation mechanisms that negatively affect these electrical properties. It is explained in detail the most important degradation phenomenon called Steabler - Wronski effect. The master’s thesis describes standards regarding testing amorphous cells as well as method, how to achieve their performance stability. The practical part is focused on the testing of several single-layer amorphous cells that were exposed to degradation and regeneration effects. One part of the thesis is studying of a new method of testing of amorphous cell, where is necessary to determine whether it is the degradation or regeneration process. Measured values obtained from several types of measurements were compared, evaluated and displayed in the graphs. The recommendation for future testing of amorphous article is stated in the final chapter.
