Photos with Timestamp
Mlejnek, Matěj ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of a system for creating timestamps for photos in groups. It deals with the ways the group timestamp of multiple photos can be verified all at once. The whole system can be split into four parts. The first part is a mobile application, in which photos are taken by the user. The second part is the server on which photos are backed up and which relays the photos to a server that makes group timestamps. The third part is the server itself that creates the timestamps. The fourth part consists of user tools for retrospectively checking the existence of a valid group timestamp.
3D model of selected object
Ptáček, Pavel ; Vacková, Eva (referee) ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis is creating digital 3D model of Dolní morový hřbitov in Žďár nad Sázavou. The building is measured primarily by classical geodetic methods. The final appearance of the model is created in AutoCAD 2015. Complementary are presented additional possibilities for creating digital models of building objects and their associated advantages and disadvantages. Much attention is paid to the photogrammetric method based on correlation of images, and work with the program 123D Catch and Cinema 4D.

Looking Back
Ivanová, Karolína ; Hládeková, Katarína (referee) ; Smetana, Matěj (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I will deal with the connection between observation and photography process. I watch how the process of photography is born in its simplest and most basic form and in the initial idea. The first part of my bachelor thesis consists of audio recordings where I capture the everyday moments of interest that I was interested in. I am interested in the relationship between photos by word / language, how the language enters the photo, and vice versa. It is enough to look at the picture and associations and memories and ideas are reflected in words and images. It's about raising "mental" photos in my mind. The second part of my bachelor's thesis consists of a mirror object, which is activated only when the viewer is involved in the observation process.
May 1945in optics of journal Mlada fronta in time-spiral of 65 years
Stoszková, Šárka ; Halada, Jan (advisor) ; Sekera, Martin (referee)
The thesis "Looking through the lens of the Czech daily newspaper Mlada fronta for 65 years" examines the topic of the liberation of Czechoslovakia in May, 1945. The qualitative content analysis of selected texts available from the newspaper is used to explore the interpretation of the event in Mlada fronta. The thesis has concentrated on the development of attitudes, beliefs, ways of communications and journalistic transformation of media content concerning the liberation event over time. The main objective has been to answer the question as to whether the media portrayal of the event has remained constant or altered over the stated time period and which factors influenced the portrayal. In the conclusion of this thesis we can confirm that the monitored event has been described differently in different time periods respectively, in connection with political progress and the value of democracy in the country. The more totalitarian the regime, the more the newspaper has described freedom through preferred ideology, biased themes, dogmatic posture and offered interpretations that suited the ruling party. This indicates a form of totalitarian hegemony. During periods of greater totalitarianism, the newspaper tends to describe the theme of the freedom completely within that communist ideology. However,...

TITLE: Architecture and space in work Ing.arch. Petra Fabiána AUTHOR: Mojmír Janů DEPARTMENT: Institute for professional development, faculty of seducation SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Jiří Hanuš ABSTRACT: The thesis is devoted to the development of architecture from its early beginnings until its importance of an artistic style and its interpretation in the work of ing.arch. Petr Fabián, one of the most significant architects dealing with revitalizations and reconstructions of historical buildings in the Czech Republic, mainly in the Olomouc region, notably in the towns of Olomouc, Šumperk and Zábřeh. Judgement of most of the population on the architecture of buildings is mostly based on the fact whether they like it or no. For those who understand this branch more, the works of Petr Fabián provide the unique example of high architectural quality. His works reflect his persistence, refined style and theoretical knowledge gained during his studies at the Faculty of Architecture of VUT in Brno, under the supervision of prof. Helena Zemánková. One of the aims of the thesis is to present the architecture as the artistic and philosophical phenomenon of the past, present and future. Parts of the thesis deal with transformations of some of the works Ing. arch. Petr Fabián was working on and his goals to follow the needs of...
Web Application for Panorama Search
Pospíšil, Miroslav ; Čadík, Martin (referee) ; Brejcha, Jan (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to create a web front-end, which provides mountain localisation of images. Images can be uploaded directly to the application or you can use images from the Flickr web service. Flickr is integrated in the application by Flickr API. Localisation of selected image is based on mountain horizon. User-aided semi-automatic horizon detection is approached by special user interface utilising the GrabCut algorithm for segmentation. Localisation is provided by server back-end which is connected and integrated with the designed application. Results for the detected horizon are visualised in a form of aligned horizon curves with position displayed using the Google Maps API. The final fully functional application was tested by moderated usability test with users. Application in this test performed well. Despite several shortcomings detected by the test the application was easy to use.
