Design of a quadcopter model
Fiala, Jan ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation and implementation of a quadcopter model. The first part summarizes the basic division of unmanned systems and the rules of legislation limiting their operation. Subsequently, the problematics of motion dynamic is discussed. The practical part first describes the selection of components used, their connection, and the creation of the quadcopter frame. The implemented control system and calibration are also described. In the final part, a flight test, price analysis, and rating in comparison with the competitive product are included. The conclusion contains an evaluation of the work, possible improvements, and reflections on the future use of the model.
Practical Use of Higher Control Systems
Kůtka, Michal ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the implementation of higher controllers to the commonly used practice in the automation of technological processes. It uses the DCS system from Siemens - PCS 7 and its advanced APC (Advanced Process Control) library. The aim of this master thesis is a theoretical summary of resources and available tools for real-time deployment. The master thesis briefly introduces the Siemens PCS 7 DCS system and the APC library tools (functional blocks). For these types of regulators, their proper use is discussed.
Suitability Assessment of Learning for Heuristic Adaptive Control of Drives
Kerek, Milan ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Březina, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is aimed to explore the possibilities of using artificial neural network in order to controll nonlinear dynamic systems. In addition the document shows the options to combine neural controllers with linear controllers, such as PID regulator, state space regulator with compensation error. Simulation models were designed in environment of Matlab/Simulink. Neural networks were exploit with the help of Neural Network Toolbox-u. Designed regulators were tested on regulating angular velocity of nonlinear system of 2nd order – wound DC motor.
Single wheel vehicle
Hanuš, Radek ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to design and build a self-balancing vehicle similar to a skateboard, utilizing only one wheel located in the centre of the device. The steering will be controlled by driver‘s tilt and the ride will resemble snowboarding or surfing. The initial part focuses on a comparison between commercially available devices. Frequently used components and their main attributes are described in the next part. After that, a possible solution is outlined, followed by an electrical design and firmware‘s function explanation. Final build, its set-up and overall results are summarised in the last part of this thesis.
Digital controlled power source with GSM
Buday, Martin ; Streit, Jakub (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Content of this diploma thesis is project of the digital control design for a thyristor source with GSM communication. Designed for corrosion protection. The work contain design of the whole device from the initial proposals of the electro diagrams up to finished product. It describes the events that arise in corrosion, explains the principle of operating a thyristor as a power switch. It also describes the creation and structure of a simple menu using the STM32 microprocessor. It explains the principle of controlling a source. Next, it deals with controlled rectifiers using a thyristor.
Synthesis of circuit element with fractal dynamics
Domanský, Ondřej ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The first aim of this diploma thesis is to clarify problems with circuit elements described by the fractional-order dynamics, show their basic properties and possible applications in circuits with lumped parameters. The second topic is covering the synthesis of two-terminal devices which have different fractional-orders for requested phase shifts. For this kind of devices, the thesis also describes their optimization and approximation in the frequency domain and subsequent implementation in the form of passive ladder structures. The final part of diploma work will be focused on practical realization of universal fractional PID controller and the verification of proper function of this multi-port in various configurations to prove its correct function via real measurement of frequency and time responses.
Developement of electronics and software on robotic vehicle Car4
Optimization of PID controller using evolutionary computing techniques
Kočí, Jakub ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with using evolutionary computation for tuning up PID controller. In research part there are summarised information about regulation and another background information about quality of regulation and ITAE criterion. Practical part consist of implementing three evolutionary computation algorithms - differential evolution, evolution strategy and genetic algorithm. These and MATLAB's function ga() are compared on two systems mutually and to Ziegler-Nichols rule. Basic comparsion is followed by statistical evaluation on second system.
Design of control circuit for towing dynamometer
Rýznar, Jan ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on design of a control circuit for a towing dynamometer. In the introductory part of the thesis is a detailed description of the towing dynamometer, including its main parts, which are necessary for proper operation. The next chapter is devoted to creating a dynamic model of an existing prototype using Simscape. Furthermore, based on the conditions from the dynamic model, a control circuit is designed, which is introduced in the form of a program into the control unit of the towing dynamometer. Based on the measured data from the transient responses, the function of the controller is gradually tuned to a satisfactory result. Finally, the function of the control circuit is evaluated and then measures to improve the stability, quality and accuracy of control are proposed.
Revitalization of hydraulic circuits control tester
Korsa, Filip ; Dobeš, Petr (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
High-quality simulation of hydraulic mechanism saves the time and other costs associated with the changes of inappropriately designed circuit. The aim of this thesis is to revitalize the test rig intended for simulating hydraulic circuits in order to verify the results of the simulation program Hyvos used internally by Bosch Rexroth Company. It is expected that the simulation of the hydraulic machinery cycles under the influence of disturbances will be carry out on the test rig and measured data are compared with results of the virtual models which are designed using the mentioned software Hyvos. The work deals with the so called position and pressure control which represent the classical modes of pressing machines or hydraulic press brakes operation cycles. The parameters of the hydraulic closed-loop axis controller for electrohydraulic drives (HACD) are set using the software Bodac.
