Mathematic model of steam turbine
Kroliczek, Filip ; Dokoupil, Jakub (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create a mathematical model of a steam turbine based on the data acquired by measurement, and to verify its behaviour. The first part contains research, which is supposed to introduce basic principles of the steam turbine and description of important construction parts and the possibilities of control. The second part describes the experimental identification method of least squares, used for the calculation of an ARX model of the steam turbine. Finally, the last part focuses on the program environment used for creation of the mathematical model and explanation of measured data analysis process. Furthermore this segment describes the created simulation program as well as a visualisation of the dynamic processes in the steam turbine, including the design of control.
Detection Algorithms of Radar Targets
Štukovská, Petra ; Kovář, Pavel (referee) ; Veselý,, Jiří (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis focuses on detection algorithms of radar targets, namely on group of techniques for removing of disturbing reflections from static objects - clutter and for suppression of distortion products caused by the phase noise of the transmitter and receiver. Methods for distortion suppression in received signal are designed for implementation in the developed active multistatic radar, which operates in the code division multiplex of several transmitters on single frequency. The aim of the doctoral thesis is to design, implement in tool for technical computing MATLAB and analyze the effectiveness and computational complexity of these techniques on simulated and real data.
Performance, robustness and implementation of controllers
Buchta, Luděk ; Michal, Mrázek (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the design of modern process control algorithms suitable for SISO industrial control equipments. In this thesis the analysis of the controller design methodology using Mixed-sensitivity function is described. This method consists in shaping frequency characteristics of the sensitivity function and complementary sensitivity fiction using the weighting functions. The proposed H controllers are compared with the classical structure of a discrete PID controller with filtered derivative part. The proposed controllers are compared in terms of robustness, performance, complexity of the design and requirements necessary for their practical application (anti-windup, smooth switchover). Robustness of the controller is evaluated on the basis of modulus stability margin. Estimation of model´s parameters is solved least-square method. The proposed control system consists of an industrial PC and Automation Panel from the company B&R, decentralized system I/O and the real plant. Visualization for control workplace was created in the program Automation studio. This visualization is used to the easy transfer of information from a controlled process.
Deformation Measurement of the Roof Structure of a Sport Hall
Klinčík, Radoslav ; Švábenský, Otakar (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes the measurement and evaluation of displacements and deformations of the wooden roof structure of the aquapark hall in Brno – Kohoutovice. Part of the work is devoted to the preparation and testing of used devices and tools. The main part of the work consists of performing one stage of measurement using the polar method and the laser scanning method. The polar method measurement is compared with the results of the polar method of the previous stage. The next part of the work deals with the comparison of the polar method and the laser scanning method measured in the last stage. The results achieved are interpreted in the final part of the work.
Approximation function implementation into PIC microprocessor
Petřík, Tomáš ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Šmirg, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the implementation of approximation function into the PIC microprocessor. Thesis is focused on microprocessor architecture and analysis of approximation functions. Then for actual implementation is chosen the method of least squares, and because of its relative simplicity and accuracy in comparison with other methods. Microcontroller is using the A/D converter to measure the dependence of non-linear system, which is connected to the microprocessor. Measure the voltage on a logarithmic potentiometer, which represents non-linear system, depending on the position of the slider track resistance. Then, using the method chosen microprocessor calculates the characteristic non-linear system. The measured values are compared with the theoretical, calculated the chosen method. The values measured, and their theoretical difference is then displayed on the display, connected to the microprocessor. In conclusion, then discuss the results together with the possibility of further developing this work.
Adaptive controllers with principles of artificial intelligence and its comparison with classical identifications methods
Dokoupil, Jakub ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
This piece of work deals with a philosophy of design adaptive controller, which is based on knowledge of mathematical model controlled plant. This master thesis is focused on closed-loop on-line parametric identification methods. An estimation of model´s parametres is solved by two main concepts: recursive leastsquare algorithms and neural estimators. In case of least-squares algorithm the strategy of preventing the typical problems are solved here. For instance numerical stability, accurecy and restricted forgetting. Back Propagation and Marquardt- Levenberg algorithm were choosen to represent artificial inteligence. There is still a little supermacy on the side of methods based on least-squares algorithm. To compare individual algorithms the grafical interface in MATLAB/Simulink was created.
Interactive software tools for teaching signal and image processing
Had, Pavel ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Mangová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis deals with the development of interactive applets for educational purposes. There are four applets: linear image combinations, least squares method and linear regression, discrete linear convolution in 2D, and interpolation in 1D. Each part of this thesis consists of a theoretical analysis of a given problem and its implementation in JavaScript. Specific applets then illustrate the problem so that it can be easily understood.
Vectorized Point Clouds for Mobile Robotics
