Realization of digital exposure meter
Vacula, Richard ; Michal, Vratislav (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the history of light measurement, ways of measuring exposure and constructions of exposure meters. In the last chapters it is treated of the realization of digital exposure meter. This project also examines the characteristics of digital light sensor ISL29003 and its use for purposes of measuring exposure.
Merging and Correction of Photos
Trčka, Jan ; Bařina, David (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and implement an application using an OpenCV library. This paper describes issues of correct photo merging, attempts to eliminate defects which were created in process of taking these photos and which may occur in the actual merging process.
Detection of eyes in facial images by means of Hough transform
Janovič, Tomáš ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Walek, Petr (advisor)
The thesis discusses the detection of eyes in facial images by means of Hough transform. It is dedicated in the necessary preprocessing of the image, especially in edge detection. Further it discusses the Hough transform itself and describes the method for detection of simple shapes such as lines and circles. Subsequently, the thesis illustrates the implementation of Hough transform for detecting circles along with an algorithm evaluating Hough space. The last part contains the results and an assessment of detection algorithm along with a discussion of utilization the Hough transform for detection of eyes in facial images.
Mapping Time of Creation of Multimedia File to Position where It Was Taken
Jurča, Josef ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Horáček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a web application which enables uploading and localization of photographs and video sequences and displaying them on the map. The position of photos is to be extracted from its EXIF metadata. If necessary information is not contained in the EXIF metadata, coordinates are to be assigned by use of external log from  GPS receiver and the time of creation of the photo. Location of photo is to be displayed with use of the points on the map. The GPS coordinates are to be assigned to the video with help of external GPS log and time of last modification of the file. The application is to enable displaying actual position and route during video playback. The thesis also describes formats of multimedia data and its metadata, the GPS system and possible ways of using the system. Afterwards existing solutions of localization of multimedia data on the map are compared and consequently it is focused on design and implementation of the new application. The thesis also deals with the process of testing of the final application and summarizes its software requirements and limits. In conclusion achieved solution is evaluated and proposals of future progress of the application are made. The outcome of the thesis is functional web application which enables user to upload multimedia data and subsequently assign their position and display them on the map.
Photography Geotagging Application
Pavelková, Alena ; Přibyl, Bronislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes photography geotagging -- finding and storing their position. There are mentioned several differed ways to geotag photos and explained related terms and needed technologies. Furthermore, there are introduced some existing applications for photography geotagging and described design and selected implementation problems of application created as part of this thesis. This application enables to geotag photos as a result of synchronization with route in GPX format or using map. There is described GUI, its parts and connections between them, used tools, and solutions to some problems.
Algorithms for Automatic Image Cropping
Ambrož, Vít ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is study and implementation of methods that can automatically crop images, so the result has good usability from a photographic view. In this thesis are made experiments with three methods and possible optimalizations are discussed. The properties of cropping algorithms are also described here and the evaluation of implemented algoritmhs is made according to user testing.
System for Management of Photographic Collections
Faika, Petr ; Kučiš, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
Primary objective of my thesis is the choice, suggestion and implementation of a feature to manage a collection of photos. The current status regarding photography collection is described as well as two existing sotware for that purpose. Description of a photo file, choice of features, suggestion and implementation description follows. I've chosen the feature to merge photos from multiple cameras. At the end of the thesis there's a  proof of results and discussion about further extension options.
Time in photography
Kubiková, Darina ; Klusová, Katarína (referee) ; Gravlejs, Ivars (advisor)
The content and theme of this thesis is the expression of time in the photographic medium. I'm looking for a way to memories that I don't remember. The result is photo manipulation.
Application for Images with GPS Position where It Was Taken
Vítek, Lukáš ; Horáček, Jan (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's project deals with photograph position data. On the community website, users may upload digital photographs, comment on individual photographs and rate them based on precision of position. The thesis comprises theoretic information on EXIF, IPCT and GPX points of interest format. Technologies used for application development (including mainly Nette framework) are described in the thesis as well. Other sections focus on individual project development stages from analysis and application draft up to implementation and testing. The final section provides a brief description of existing similar solutions.
Automatic Photo Sorting
Weiser, Michal ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The purpose of this article is to show how intuitive can be work with pictures sorting. Drag&drop technology in combination with interactive picture moving makes this application easy to use. To sort pictures with some feature you just must drag magnetic attractor into some place in workspace and choose attracting feature with specific value. Pictures with alike value are attracted. Difference in values determines the distance between picture and attractor. Combination of many attractors can help you sort pictures in short time with just couple of clicks.
