Simple Models of EMI Filters
Kostrhún, Lukáš ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
Thesis goal was principles and method insertion Loss Measurement of EMI Filters study in harmony with the technical standard ČSN CISPR 17, theoretical insertion Loss of Filters deduce in symmetrical and asymmetrical connection of impedance system 50 ohms /50 ohms, 0.1 ohms /100 ohms and 1 ohm /100 ohms, and opposite, and with measure values of Filters compare.
Influence of Impedance of Input and Output Circuits and Connecting Cables on Audio Signal Transmission
Ďurka, Adam ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of parasitic properties of audio cables as well as input and output impedances of various audio devices for signal transmission between them and also its linear distortion. Using alternative wiring diagrams of these devices, simulations of transmission and linear distortion are performed, and then laboratory jigs for measuring these parameters are designed and implemented. In the next part of the work, the measurements of the transfer between the jigs are performed using the Bode 100 circuit analyzer and the resulting characteristics are compared with the simulated values.
Substrate integrated waveguide filter
Vyskočil, Jiří ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this thesis is discussed a filter design of a band-pass substrate integrated waveguide filter on the frequency of 5 GHz. It also includes design theory, filter synthesis, filter analysis in the program CST Microwave Studio® and the results of measurement on a vector network analyzer. The analysis results are compared with the measured results. Good agreement between simulated and measured results is observed.
Electric Volin with MIDI Output
Spilka, Benedikt ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to design and to construct a electric violin with MIDI output. This thesis include design and conctruction of violin pickup, violin electronic and software for translation of sound into MIDI messages. design of the instrument´s body is presented at the end of the thesis. Violin electronic include circuits for filtration, amplification, processing and AD/DA conversion of audio siganl. Software for MIDI transfer recognizes notes and translates them to MIDI messages.
The tunable frequency filter for laboratory
Dokoupil, Jakub ; Roubal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of the available active universal frequency filter and then design of a 2nd order of the universal frequency filter. Universal filter will contain lowpass filters, highpass, bandpass and notch filter. The filter can be setup in the range of 100 Hz to 150 kHz.
Amplifier with Speaker Protection
Přibyl, Libor ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
The present work deals with the issue of speaker damage due to large displacement of the membrane at low frequencies. The main focus is the design and construction of the circuit to protect the speakers from this type of damage and the subsequent measurement of its parameters. The thesis includes theoretical predictions for the optimal design and implementation of the circuit. The work includes complete construction of equipment, including power supply and auxiliary circuits.
Power supply for space application
Hrubý, Lukáš ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The following work deals with a design of switched mode power supply. In this essay, there is detailed description of non-isolated and isolated topologies of SMPS, used in industry. Next, there are calculations for design and analysis which are needed for space design. There will also be selected devices, which could be used in final device. Based on experience and ECSS requirements, there will be chosen parameters of SMPS, which could be then used as a module for future space design. Chosen topology of SMPS will be created as engineering model assembled with commercial components. One part of this work is dedicated to design and realization of planar transformer and coupled inductor.
LPC Speech Coding
Zapletal, Ondřej ; Kyselý, František (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The contents of the thesis "LPC speech coding" are studies of this method of a parametric source coding, explanation of mathematical procedures that are used in it (linear prediction, autocorrelation, Levinson-Durbin algorithm, transfer to a form suitable for transmission, Chebyshev root searching polynomial method) and acquaintance with the signification and application of that method in real speech encoders. The task of the original project of this thesis is a description and simulation of a simple speech encoder based on LPC, which transforms a real speech signal into a bit flow, which contains all of the significant parameters for its backward reconstruction (LSF coefficients, pitch period, excitation level, voice detection - AMDF method). One part of this thesis is a discussion about currently used speech encoders.
Detector of optical beam position
Lukáč, Vladimír ; Barcík, Peter (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of an optical beam position detector with the required parameters. The aim was to select a suitable photodetector that captures light rays and converts them into photocurrent, to design photocurrent processing into a voltage signal with linear properties and specified parameters, to convert the analog form of the voltage signal into digital information with which a microcomputer or microcontroller can work. The analog part of the work is simulated in the program OrCAD PSpice, in which the functionality and correctness of the designs is confirmed. The digital part processes the voltage signal to the information of the used channel, its level displays this data on the display.
Surface acoustic wave filter
Tichý, Jakub ; Dědková, Jarmila (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with principles and characteristics of the surface acoustic wave filter. It explained the principle of magnetostriction and piezoelectric effect, which uses a filter. In the practical part in the program Comsol Multiphysics are made three simple models of SAW filter. Some modes are founded and are compared to previously known results. In the next phase of project is further studied using the parametric analysis. In the last phase of project is applied global optimization PSO at admittance characteristic from simple 2D structure. The results are compared with the commercially produced devices.
