Web Application for Managing and Classifying Information from Distributed Sources

This master's thesis deals with data mining techniques and classification of the data into specified categories. The goal of this thesis is to implement a web portal for administration and classification of data from distributed sources. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to test different methods and find the most appropriate one for web articles classification. From the results obtained, there will be developed an automated application for downloading and classification of data from different sources, which would ultimately be able to substitute a user, who would process all the tasks manually.
Drupal editing system

My Diploma thesis deals with the content management system Drupal, further explores the open source content management systems and puts the attention on Drupal 7. Analyzed the possibility of migration of Drupal version 6 to version 7. When you migrate, you must be aware of already existing structure, Web presentations already created user accounts, Web sites, databases. In the practical part of the Thesis is carried out on the migration of the Web slide show version of Drupal 7. After the migration, checked the correctness and functionality of all modules and Web content. Deployed a new content management system Joomla 2.5. The final presentation is supplemented by the necessary modules to optimize SEO. Configured with all necessary parameters for SEO. Influence of optimization tested and evaluated in detail the results obtained. Analysis and testing focused on Google and Seznam. The results of the analysis carried out optimization of Web presentation. All of the implemented modules updated and tested for functionality. In the website is implemented a language switch, and revised the contents of the pages. Carried out a complete testing of a Web presentation.
Software design support of burglar alarm system

This thesis deals with implementation of software support of alarm system design for security levels 1 and 2 based on web technologies. It was created intuitive and interactive graphical interface that allows to create high-quality alarm system design even for laymen. First of all the paper deals with standards and jurisdictions in the Czech Republic, according to which the alarm system design must be followed. In theoretical part there are described in detail characteristics of alarm systems and its components, proper functioning principles, installation principle, advantages and disadvantages of use, individual steps of alarm system design and proposed methodology of alarm system design for security level 1 and 2. In practical part there are described the technologies used for the implementation of this paper, structure of created webpage and detailed steps of alarm system design, as seen by user during creating. The result of this paper is a webpage, which is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides information about the alarm system architecture, alarm system design and established methodology for the alarm system design for security level 1 and 2. In the practical part the user, on the basis of gained information and interactive help, can create high-quality alarm system design that meets all the conditions for reliable function in real traffic.
Creating templates for common content management systems

This thesis is covering the creation of templates for leading open source CMS systems. For the purposes of thesis, three current most popular open source content management systems were selected - WordPress, Joomla! and Drupal. The main aim of this thesis, and also the main outcome, is to develop a fully responsive templates for each of these systems, which would meet predetermined requirements. Three systems above are compared in terms of creating templates based on the criteria set out. Based on this comparison there is one system selected, which represents the most suitable platform for emerging website covering the topic of smart watches and wearables in general.
Possibilities of Web Content Management Systems

This bachelor's thesis discusses the history of the development of content management in general and gradually continues to the management of content on the web using web content management systems. It informs about the different options of selected freely available web content management systems, specifically on how to customize the basic appearance and the application of additional modules to extend the functionality. The aim of this work is to provide an overview of options and simple instructions for creating your own website primarily for students of faculty of management, but its practical use may be nationwide.
Metadata and Accessing Information on the Internet

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to introduce the reader to the possible ways of creating metadata in the environment of popular CMS and communicate my personal opinions on the influence of metadata on information searches in the environment of WWW services. The first chapter introduces basic information on metadata, their development, their classification and ways of application. The main focus lies on HTML element meta. At the end of the chapter I ponder the future of semantic approach to web. The second chapter informs the reader about the issue of searching information in WWW environment. The beginning of the chapter defines the basic concepts, then follows the description of function of internet search engines and at the end deals with the SEO issue and its relation to metadata. The last chapter describes the most popular CMS and their interaction with metadata. It opens with practical illustration in the WordPress system a closes with theoretical description of its competition. After reading this theses the readers should understand what metadata are, why they should use them, and how to implement them in their own web pages using CMS.
The creation of online presentation of bezzavazku.cz project in chosen Content Management System (CMS)

The aim of this diploma theses is to briefly describe and compare Content Management Systems (CMS) WordPress, Joomla and Drupal and to create a web page for "bezzavazku.cz "project. This web page was created in CMS which was chosen on the base of the CMS comparison. For better understanding of customer's wants the market survey was made. Outcomes of this survey were took into consideration when creating the websites. After all the entire project was evaluated and return of the investment (ROI) was calculated.
Semantic support in CMS Drupal

Aim of this diploma thesis is to map semantic features of CMS Drupal version 7. The goal of the first part of this work is to theoretically describe semantic web problematic and CMS Drupal. The second -- practical part of this work maps in details all the features of semantic web, which are supported by described CMS Drupal. These semantic features are mapped in two different points of views -- implementation and functional. Main contribution of this work is the method used to map these features. It's based on Drupal plugins code modification and revision in order to draw or demonstrate these features, which are not necessarily completely documented or functional. Furthermore all of these features are demonstrated on examples created as a part of this thesis. Finally the last part of this work compares these mapped features to similar CMS systems.
Web Content Management Systems

This thesis is trying to map the history of the Internet until we meet the web content management systems. Those systems are compared with a few simple criteria. In the thesis, there is also in details described the CMS system Wordpress. Based on this description, a practical installation of this system is made. The aim of this thesis is to create a fully functional web presentation of an elementary school and describe the steps, leading to this goal.
