The use of Klapp method in the physiotherapy of wrong body holding
LOJKOVÁ, Michaela
The main theme of this bachelor work is the use of Klapp method in the physiotherapy of wrong body posture. The theoretical part is mainly focused on wrong body posture, its´ consequances and the possibilites for rehabilitation. The chapter about wrong body posture also includes a sub-chapter about correct body holding. Besides that, the theoretical part is also focused on posture and deep stabilization system. Therefore the important chapter is about Klapp method. This chapter summarizes all important and relevant information from all available sources about the Klapp method. The practical part of this work is made from qualitative research in the form of detailed case reports. The research was made of three patients with wrong body posture who had problems with back pain and in one case also neck pain. The patients were comingfor a therapy almost every week for the time period of two months. The Klapp method was used almost exclusively in this therapy. The bachelor work had two goals. The first goal was to describe the Klapp method in physiotherapy. This goal was achieved in the chapter dedicated to Klapp method in the theoretical part of the work and further in the methodology part of the work where are described individual posititions of this method. The information about this method are extended by photos of individual positions from my own source which are being attached to this work. The second goal was to find out how this method can influence problems which arise in people with wrong body posture. I achieved this goal through the research part of this work. The therapy, which was used on patients and which focused mainly on Klapp method, reduced the pain in all my patients. Therefore it can be said that Klapp method positively influenced the problem of my patients. This bachelor work can be used as an educational material for physiotherapeutists and also for a broad public which would like to get a closer look on the problem with wrong body posture or with Klapp method.
Postural physiotherapy concentrated at axial stabilization of actively sporting children on a competitive level
MAŠEK, Dominik
This work is focused on the topic of stability of the axial system at actively sporting children on the competition level. In the theoretical part I write about basic knowledge about the postural system and deep stabilization system. The practical part of my thesis is processed as a qualitative research comprising input and output kinesiology analysis and input and output posturographic examination. The research took place at the Uran office at the University of South Bohemia, České Budějovice. The research sample was consisted of five actively sporting pediatric patients (two boys and three girls) aged 6 to 11 years. Three patients (two girls and a boy) do gymnastics and two patients (a girl and a boy) do the Korean martial art called Taekwondo. Therapy contained eight treatments lasting 15-20 minutes. Rehabilitation therapy included posturograph with NeuroCom Balance Manager system. Another three exercises were practiced individually at home. The aim of this work was to improve the axial stabilization using therapeutic programs and additional exercises and then subsequent evaluation of the results of these eight treatments. Here I follow the idea, that even short exercising of deep stabilizing deep system during training can lead to an overall improvement in the stabilization of the body, reducing the level of hazing superficial muscles and preventing the occurrence of clinical symptoms and complications, that are common in modern society, such as back pain, prolapsed intervertebral discs, etc. Results obtained by therapy proved that patients' axial stability and overall posture im-proved after eight therapies. This thesis may serve as a resource not only for health care workers, but also for the general public and sports coaches.

Title of master's thesis: The relation between backache and urinary incontinence Aims: The aim of the thesis is to find relations between various body structures. The main focus is on the analysis of the connections between backache and urinary incontinence depending on duration of backache, localization, backache promotion and sports activities. Methods: The survey was carried out by a four-page questionnaire. In total there was a group of 97 respondents, 79 women and 18 men, who had problems with backache, urinary incontinence or both. The age range of the respondents was from 18 up to 84 years. The questionnaires were distributed to specialized clinical centers in the fields of rehabilitation and physical medicine. The survey data was processed and analyzed by using the statistical program SPSS, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. Results: The results indicate that there is a relation between backache and urinary incontinence. There is also a relation between promotion of pain in the lower extremities and urinary incontinence. Moreover, it has shown that more than half of the respondents had backache and urinary incontinence at the same time. However, the last two results have not been found statistically significant. According to the survey there is a proved influence of the...

Křivánková, Markéta ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Vařeková, Jitka (referee)
Title: Case study: The effectiveness of the compensation program aimed at reducing muscle imbalance type upper crossed syndrome. Objectives: Creating a theoretical overview of the compensation program in the range of 10 weeks, which is required to determine the effect of intervention ready. Methods: The study has a form of a case study. Case studies allow better explore into the issue and help to understand it. For data collection methods were used assessment of posture by view, muscle testing according to Janda, the deep stabilizing of the spine test by Kolář and goniometric measurement range of motion in joints. Results: After a ten-week intervention was achieved to improvements in posture, especially in the area of enlarged thoracic kyphosis, which has been reduced. In the joint mobility measured goniometric was improved range of motion by 27%, the most striking difference was in the extension of the thoracic spine (about 213% compared to the input measurements). Increasing flexibility was also observed in the muscle test, where there was a positive effect on almost all compensated muscles. At the same time was confirm the hypothesis that activation of the deep stabilization system has an influence on the posture. Keywords: pure posture, deep stabilization system, phasic and postural muscles.
