Comparison of urban and rural kindergartens with regard to children with delayed school attendance

In my diploma thesis, I deal with the comparison of urban and rural kindergartens with regard to the granting of deferrals of compulsory schooling. The aim of the work was to clarify the issue of postponing compulsory schooling and to find out the frequency, reasons for postponing compulsory schooling and the opinions of parents and teachers on questions on the given topic, all from the point of view of comparing urban and rural kindergartens. The work is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part serves as an introduction to the topic. In the first chapter of the theoretical part, I define concepts such as kindergarten - its functions, tasks, cooperation with parents and elementary school. In the second chapter, I define individual areas of maturity and readiness. The third chapter contains a theoretical summary of information on school attendance delays. The practical part was implemented in the form of a questionnaire survey with two groups of respondents - parents of children with delayed school attendance and kindergarten teachers. A child with a disorder of social and emotional development in a preschool facility.

The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of successful education and communication with a child of preschool age with a disorder of social and emotional development. On the readiness of pedagogues to educate and raise disadvantaged children in this way, but also on the ability of preliminary diagnosis and subsequently the possibility of effective action in the educational and educational process. The introductory chapters deal with the theoretical starting points, which are the basis for the following research part of the thesis. The first part of this work is focused on inclusive education and related concepts. Furthermore, the legislative framework is mapped, which defines pre- school education from a legal point of view, counseling workplaces and some supporting measures related to the law. Subsequently, the healthy development of the child in the social and emotional area is outlined, as well as possible categories of disorders of social and emotional development. In more detail, the diploma thesis focuses on Asperger's syndrome, which is one of the forms of autism spectrum disorders. Working with a Fairy tale in a Kindergarten

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the use of fairy tales as a tool in the development of kindergarten children. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate and verify in practice that fairy tales have a potential to educate children in all educational areas listed in the Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education. The theoretical part of the work defines the term fairy tale, folk tale and its genre variants, looks at the child's world and its connection to fairy tales, investigates the possibilities of solving problems with the help of fairy tales, looks into the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" in terms of psychology, and focuses on storytelling and reading fairy tales in kindergartens. It also analyses preschool children and describes their motor, cognitive, emotional, and social development. The practical part introduces the proposed project "Little Red Riding Hood" which describes activities related to the fairy tale. The project is implemented in a kindergarten environment and aims to help develop key competencies established in the Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education. The evaluation draws attention to possible issues of the project.

The topic of this bachelor thesis is cultural events that take place in Kindergarten. The theoretical part is based on professional literature which deals with the topic of cultural events and preschool children. The thesis focuses on the most represented ones, which are events of a dramatic or musical character. It also examines these events in terms of their benefits for preschool children, particularly from the perspective of aesthetics, psychology and culture. A questionnaire survey is used to investigate how preschool teachers perceive cultural events, their criteria for selecting them, and their views on quality and benefits for children.
Motor skills in a preschool child with impaired communication ability

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is motor skills and graphomotor skills in a preschool child with impaired communication ability. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the training and practice of gross motor skills, oromotor skills and graphomotor skills in preschool children with impaired communication skills aged five to six years who attend a speech therapy class established at a regular kindergarten. Another goal was to develop a methodological program. One of the partial goals was to observe and shoot a selected research sample during activities developing motor skills. The theoretical part deals with the topic of impaired communication skills in preschool children, the possibility of requesting a postponement of compulsory school attendance and also selected cognitive functions affecting motor activities. The main part of the theoretical work consists of the chapter on motor skills, which includes motor skills, gross motor skills and coordination of movement, graphomotor skills, oromotor skills and also fine motor skills. The content of the next part consists of laterality and speech therapy in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the method of observation was applied, mainly due to video recording and also the method of individual approach and interview. The methodical program for the development of motor skills contains methodical procedures of exercises, elements from the field of oromotor skills and graphomotor sheets. All these materials were applied for one month and evaluated according to selected or elected evaluation scales. The results are successful, as all children from the selected research sample improved in all stimulated areas.
Language development of child - basics of reading literacy

This bachelor thesis is focused on the language development of a preschool child. The theoretical part deals with the development of speech, individual language levels, preschool children, and their education. It marginally mentions the topic of reading pre-literacy and literacy, which a child must develop at a preschool age, so it can build on the acquired skills later in the basic education of acquisition of initial reading and writing. The practical part includes a qualitative survey, which uses a diagnostic battery to determine the language level of children before the start of compulsory schooling. Subsequently, a program to support language and reading pre-literacy is implemented with ten respondents. The results show that if the language area not only develops naturally but also purposefully, the results in the child's speech improve. Children learn their language skills better and use the grammar of the particular language correctly.
The development of musical abilities and musical skills of preschool children by musical work

This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of musical skills and abilities in preschool children with the help of a piece of music. The aim of this thesis is an educational program that will present the possibilities of developing musical skills and abilities through a musical work - opera. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the current concept of music education with regard to the requirements of the Framework Educational Program for preschool education, focusing on musical activities in kindergarten, division into categories and their description. Furthermore, the theoretical part characterizes the developmental peculiarities of the preschool child with regard to the development of musical skills and abilities. Subsequently, the text is also devoted to the topic of opera and fairy tale as a motivating factor. The practical part contains a curriculum focused on musical activities, where singing, instrumental, listening and musical movement activities are motivated by the musical work Rusalka by Antonín Dvořák. The educational programme is tested in practice in a kindergarten. The methods of observation and analysis of educational activities were used for evaluation.
The use of the song in the developement of creativity of preschool children

This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of song in the development of creativity of preschool children. The aim of the thesis is to characterize and highlight the importance and possibilities of combining musical and dramatic activities of preschool children to develop their creativity. The content of the theoretical part is the definition of creativity, characteristics of the current concept of preschool education with regard to the development of creativity, characteristics of the developmental peculiarities of the preschool child, dramatic education and its definition, experiential and cooperative learning of preschool children through dramatic education and play. The thesis also discusses song, its characteristics and musical activities in the preschool. In the practical part, a program is developed where song is used in the development of creativity of preschool children through the methods of dramatic education and musical activities, taking into account the specificity of preschool education. This program is proven in the practice of kindergarten. During the implementation of activities and subsequent detailed evaluation, the method of observation, interview and analysis of educational materials is used. Each part is reflected in detail with regard to specific educational outcomes for the child.

Philosophy For Children Within The Development Of Children´s Communication Skills In Kindergarten The aim of this bachelor thesis is a creation of worksheets for the development of communication skills of children in kindergarten through a philosophical dialogue. Furthermore, the work focuses on the development of effective communication between a teacher and a child based on the differentiation of children according to their communication types and between children themselves through a philosophical dialogue. The basic concepts associated with philosophy for children are defined in the theoretical part (including its own origin and development from the early beginnings to the present), communication, speech and all this with a focus on preschool children. The practical part of the work contains worksheets, on the basis of which a philosophical dialogue with preschool children can be conducted within the development of effective communication. The worksheets themselves contain a suitable didactic material for the development of children´s communication skills in kindergartens.
