Apple OS X security.
Hošek, Josef ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
Project deals with the analysis of the security of Mac OS X version 10.8 "Mountain Lion". Security is discussed in terms of components and tools that are used in this system. All used components and tools are described in terms of their function. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains procedures for configuring security features of the system, testing the influence of encryption on the speed of the system, comprehensive description of the firewall created by IPFW. At the end is described scenario for forwarding and address translation by NATD.
Apple iOS security
Zahradníček, Zdeněk ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis deals with the iOS operating system security and creating applications for this system. Describes the basic features of the system, security, encryption, and classes for secure file storage. Another area that deals with the work is that access to the Internet and the protection of transmitted and received data. The work is described Xcode programming package, used by developers for iOS platform. Furthermore, the compiled application to examples of work with this programming package and its subsequent testing in a virtual device simulator which is part of this package. I did application that uses large numbers of 1024bit value and then use these numbers for calculations. The output of application was average time of measuring duration of calculating the mathematical operations.
Multi-User Cooperation in Augmented Reality on iOS
Jurczyk, Adam ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this work was to create a solution that would allow multiple users to cooperate in a shared Augmented Reality environment. The proposed solution enables users to interact and edit a 3D scene in real time. Thesis touches on the subject of how a user interface should look like to assist with synchronization of devices in the shared scene. It also describes a system for user permission and action conflict resolution when dealing with virtual object interaction. A hybrid peer-to-peer architecture is designed to facilitate communication between individual peers. The solution is based on the iOS platform and uses the new functions available in the ARKit 2 framework. The resulting application is used to demonstrate and evaluate how the designed systems perform during multi-user cooperation. The designed solution can be used as a basis for an application that presents work from a designer to a client with the ability to get expressive user feedback in real time and in the intended physical environment.
iPhone Application for Number Plate Recognition
Sládeček, Roman ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Procházka, Boris (advisor)
This thesis talks about theoretical and practical side of development of application for Apple iPhone mobile cell phone and for its operating system called iOS. In theoretical part are contained informations about history of this device, about tools for creating application for this mobile platform and there is shortly sketched procedure and process how the application is deployed into the phone. Next part deals with the licence number plates, their signification and integrity restrictions. Main core of whole thesis is a practical part about creation and implementation mobile application for recognition of that number plates with supporting of built-in camera and its consecutive text representation or manipulation with that data. In the final part there is a review of results which this application brings after testing and experimenting in different conditions.
Twitter Client for Apple TV
Zvara, Marek ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This paper describes and analyses the tvOS platform and compares its advantages and disadvantages to the iOS platform. In addition, it offers an overview of the current state of the Twitter API.Based on this knowledge, it provides a description of the design, successful implementation and testing of the application. Twitter client works with basic features such as scrolling the timeline, retweet, like / unlike tweet, or responding to a tweet discussion.
Electronic Log Book for iPhone and Windows Mobile
Hubík, Filip ; Žaloudek, Luděk (referee) ; Bartoš, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis designs and implements electronic on-line log book for mobile devices Apple iPhone and Windows Mobile operating systems, focusing on GPS and navigation systems. There is analyzed in detail the issue of applications both platforms. It is designed and implemented the work of a server application too, working with both clients. The result of this work system may be such as accounting or data for visualization journeys corporate vehicles - a simple electronic log book.
Influence of storage conditions on content of biologically active substances in apple fruits.
Ferdová, Jitka ; Čarnecká, Martina (referee) ; Márová, Ivana (advisor)
This study deals with antioxidants in diet and their effects on human organism. Further, it summarizes the agents affect the quality of apples in the course of long-term storage and it outlines the possibility of defence against them. In the experimental part methods of determination of antioxidant enzymes superoxid dismutase (SOD), catalase and polyphenol oxidace (PPO) in apples were introduced. The enzymes were measured in apples tissues in liquid nitrogen after 158 days in normal or modified atmosphere. In Apple the quantitative and qualitative analysis of proteins was realized. Further, some low molecular antioxidants (total phenolics, total flavonoids and vitamin C) as well as total antioxidant status were measured in frozen raw juice. This values were compared with values from apples analyzed immediately after the harvesting. Artificial inoculation with fungi was made in the last part and the fruitfulness was observed.
Detection of undeclared fruit species in foodstuffs using methods of molecular biology and instrumental methods
Svobodová, Petra ; Wikarská, Monika (referee) ; Fialová, Lenka (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the detection of apple component in fruit-based baby food. The theoretical part deals with the fruit itself – the apple; food adulteration as a reason for the control of food composition and methods, both instrumental and those of molecular biology, by which food adulteration can be detected. In the experimental part, commercial products containing apple puree were purchased and model mixtures were prepared as replicas of the purchased products. DNA was isolated from these samples, its amplifiability was verified, and the presence of the apple component was detected after the selection of suitable species-specific primers. Methanol extracts for HPLC were prepared from the above-mentioned samples using a procedure previously used for the extraction of phenolic substances from apple pulp [1]. Using this analysis, apple in fruit purees was to be identified using phloridzin as a marker for the presence of the apple component. The result was a successful detection of the apple component in both commercial products and model mixtures using qPCR. However, the tested method of phenolic substance extraction proved to be unsuitable for use in the analysis of fruit purees, as phloridzin was not detected either in the apple puree extract or in the model mixtures to which this puree was added.
Assessment of aroma active compounds in cultivars of apples
Mahdalová, Martina ; Trachtová, Štěpánka (referee) ; Vítová, Eva (advisor)
The aim of this master‘s thesis was to determine the aroma active compounds and monitor the sensory quality of apples. The theoretical part deals with the description, composition and properties of apples, information about the aroma compounds, their determination and possibilities for sensory evaluation of apples is also given. The gas chromatography method combined with the solid-phase microextraction, utilized for the specification of aroma compounds, is described. In the experimental part, the SPME-GC-FID method was applied on selected cultivars of apples specially cultivated against apple scab (Venturia inaequalis), i.e. 24 genotypes and Golden Delicious as the control variety. In total 60 various aroma compounds were identified, 22 alcohols, 12 aldehydes, 11 ketones, 10 esters and 5 organic acids. The number and concentration of compounds identified differed according to the cultivars. Sensory analysis was performed using category ordinal scales and the profile test.
