Screw conveyor
Bořecký, Vítězslav ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Jonák, Martin (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and construction of horizontal screw conveyor for transporting grain. This thesis involves calculation of the main dimensions of the conveyor, the design of the conveyor drive, saving proposal of worm conveyor and worm conveyor shaft strength check.
Horizontal screw conveyor
Švec, Milan ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The focus of this bachelor thesis is construction, technical solution and design of a horizontal screw conveyor with purpose of transporting agricultural grain as per set parametres. The scope of this thesis includes calculations regarding the main parts of screw conveyor, designs of electric motor, clutch and bearings and a firmness check of the functional parts The body of the thesis is composed from a technical report and drawing documentation, supported by model assembly created in 3D CAD system, as well as a drawing of the entire device, a drawing of the screw and individual drawings of shafts.
Continual double-helicoidal mixer
Černý, Jan ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This work focuses on the process of mixing particulate materials and the design of the screw mixer for this activity. The theoretical part describes the mixing and properties of particulate matter. Subsequently, individual devices serving for different types of mixing are analyzed. The practical part contains calculations of the main dimensions and the required power consumption. The choice of suitable drive, bearings and gear is followed. Finally, the analysis of the blade shaft load and the strength analysis of the mixer blade using Autodesk Inventor are performed. Part of this work is enclosed drawing documentation of equipment assembly and selected partial components.
Design of facility for egg-shells transportation
Hruška, Kryštof ; Naď, Martin (referee) ; Pernica, Marek (advisor)
Egg shells are a very suitable basic raw material for the production of mineral dietary supplements. The thesis deals with one of the processes in their production, the transportation of the commodity after flush into a clean room. The thesis proposes possible solutions, which are described in the research part, on the basis of which a screw conveyor is chosen as a suitable solution and a design solution is proposed. Based on the calculations, the individual parts of the conveyor are selected and designed. The entire device is modeled in SolidWorks and the drawing documentation contains the overall drawing of the assembly.
Determination of stability of fuel feeding into boiler
Skalický, Michal ; Chýlek, Radomír (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the determination of stability of fuel feeding into boiler. The principle of the screw conveyor is described at the beginning of the thesis. It is followed by a description of the individual parts of the worm. The second part of the research deals with the properties of the materials transported. The second half of the bachelor thesis is practical. In this section there are experimentally measured values of flow of sawdust and wood chips. At the end, the measured values are compared and evaluated.
Cement worm conveyor
Šulc, David ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis contains of a detail and design of a sloping cement worm conveyor, based on specified parameters. This work deals with the calculation of the main conveyor parts, design size and strength of the control sections. Then there is also a solution method of storing a worm shaft. The thesis is composed of technical reports and drawings, which includes general assembly drawings, assembly drawing of the screw, and a list of items.
Screw conveyor
Kaňa, Vojtěch ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Jonák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with proposal tilted screw conveyor in term of calculation and construction solution of tilted screw conveyor for sludge transportation in waste water treatment plant. There is a calculation of the basic parameters, proposal of gearing, proposal of bearings and strength calculation of the main parts. In the attachment we can see drawing documentation.
Worm conveyor
Kolčava, Jiří ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of the assumption of the functionality of the screw conveyor depending on the angle of inclination, the determination of the main dimensions and the design of the drive of the inclined screw conveyor with the maximum angle of inclination to transport the glass crumb. This assumption is described on the basis of the accelerations that act on the elementary particle of the transported material. Subsequently, the conveyor is compared with a spiral screw conveyor. The construction part contains drawing documentation according to the assignment.
