Media landscape in Spain

The diploma thesis "The media landscape in Spain" aims to describe the contemporary Spanish media scene and apply the basic characteristics and particularities of the "polarized pluralist model" media system which was described by Hallin and Mancini in their book Comparing Media Systems and whose features are also allocated to other South European countries (Italy, Portugal, Greece and marginally also France) in addition to Spain. The description of the press and audiovisual media market itself is preceded by three extensive chapters dealing with press media development in Spain from its beginnings in the 17th century until today, media legislation and the concentration of media ownership. It was the development of the press (and, in the 20th century, the development of audiovisual media) which, due to its exceptionally close ties to politics, determined the shape of the contemporary Spanish media landscape, which is why the thesis focuses primarily on this topic. The historical and political development of the country and constantly changing systems of government led to frequent changes in law (press laws in particular), which makes Spain very different from other European countries in this aspect. The Relations between the Polish United Workers' Party and the French Communist Party in 1956

The master thesis -The Relations between the Polish United Workers' Party and the French Communist Party in 1956‖ deals with the relations between the Central European Polish United Workers' Party (PZPR) and the West European French Communist Party (PCF) in the crisis year of 1956. Analysing their mutual relations in 1956 is not only interesting from the point of view of East- West connections, but chiefly of the different approaches to Khrushchev's policy of destalinisation. Whereas the PCF was more or less under the Stalinist Maurice Thorez's control, which prevented Khrushchev's French supporters from influencing their party's politics, in case of the PZPR, the death of Bolesław Bierut in March 1956 made room for larger variety of opinions within the party. This master thesis describes not only the situation of both parties in 1956. It also analyses the images that the parties made about each other and the ways in which these images were spread and how they influenced the relations between them. The striking difference laid in the approach to the destalinisation. The parties perceived differently Khrushchev's -secret speech‖. A journalist in regional dailies as a specific journalistic profession on the example of the Ústí region

Diploma thesis "The journalist in regional newspapers as a specific journalistic profession in Ústí region" deals with the working and status differences of regional journalists, whose occupation is believed as a specific kind of journalism. This thesis is mainly concentrated on the area of getting information and working with them, it is also focused on problems and difficulties of regional journalism, the role of journalists, their relationship to the local area and as well their moral level. Last, but not least this thesis brings the sociological profile of regional journalists in Ústí region. On the basis of a research which consists of disinterested observation and a research via questioning in seven newsrooms of Vltava-Labe-Press company newspapers, it shows the picture of margin journalists who have to fight with bad reputation in a long term. One part o this thesis is also a historical divagation to the development of regional press in the Czech Republic in the area of Ústí region and the stormy property changes which happened in the 90's of 20th century as well.

Linguistic Analysis of Headlines in Spanish Press

The objective of this bachelor thesis is analysis of headlines in current Spanish press. After inicial introduction to characteristics of journalism and demonstration of typical features of headlines, especially about conciseness, is in the second part of the thesis analysed the sample of five hundred headlines extracted from the five spanish internet journals with focus on direct and reported speech and verbs dicendi. This bachelor thesis is written in czech language nevertheless with frequent occurence of examples of spanish headlines. Part of the work is also résume in spanish.

The manipulation of the public through mass media

Man is surrounded by mass media on every place. They form his views, attitudes and behavior. Its effects are obvious. It is possible to affect and manipulate person's opinion the way it is wanted. There is a lot of manipulation techniques in common of mass media. These are hidden in different scope, but all of them are purposeful. People are often manipulated without their awareness, they accept what they are told as it is true picture surrounding them. The first part of my thesis is aimed to communication and its types and general mass media press, broadcasting, tv-broadcasting and internet, its development and its legislation. The second one deals with manipulation, persuading, propaganda and manipulation techniques. Selected techniques of every type of media are illustrated on specific example of practice. In the third part there is a treatise of media literacy as an affective means of orientation in the world of media.

The Machines and Tools for the Fineblanking Technology

This work provides a brief overview of the used machines and tools designed for fineblanking. Fineblanking is a technology from the field of the surface forming, suitable especially for mass production, which can be used to make a functional component in a single operation. This work also lists the various methods of precision cutting, and describes the tools, that are the main reason for the quality of the product. Furthermore, in this work are listed some examples from today in practice used machines and their planting into the entire complex of production lines.

Manufacturing of part of garage automatic door lock by compound tool

This master’s thesis created in the master studies of the M-STG Manufacturing technology is focused on the manufacturing of a part of a garage automatic door lock by a compound tool. The part is made of a rolled steel coil of the S275JR material with the thickness of 2 mm. The number of parts manufactured per year equals to 600 000. Literary studies deals with the issues of cutting and bending. On the basis of the most advantageous manufacturing variant and technological calculations the compound tool is designed. As a working machine the eccentric press LEK 160 is chosen. In the economical evaluation part, the calculations to finding out when the manufactory becomes profitable are carried out.
