Marketing and its position in modern economy

English Title & Summary Marketing And Its Role In Current Economy In initial part of this diploma work, its author tries to define marketing in its actual meaning, to desribe marketing trends from the historical and contemporary view and to analyze marketing activities in relation to marketing mix. He emphasises the boundary of these activities to their economical consequences, revealing these consequences and their analysis on theree levels - single bussines, regionaly and in scale of international economy. This work evaluates all ascpect of marketign mix on each level, aimed to map single marketing activities, which can have potentional influence for the economic of a bussines, in region or in the global scale, whether in a good or a bad way. However, target here is not to make some complete list of them, but to mark and analyse the actions and marketing activities, which bring the most noticable economical consequences. One of the most significant features of the modern age mentioned in this work is also expansion of the Internet as the communication, propagation and organisation tool, its role in marketing activities (and in oposite a role of marketing activities in the Internet expansion) and consequences of its use in various branches of marketing activities. SOUHRN 1. Byla prokázána schopnost kultury Schisandra chinensis glykosylovat hydrochinon na arbutin. 2. Nebylo prokázáno žádné uvolňování arbutinu do živného média kultury Schisandra chinensis 3. Zvýšením koncentrace prekurzoru hydrochinonu došlo ke zvýšení produkce arbutinu 4. V extraktech kalusů Schisandra chinensis byla po přidání prekurzorů kyseliny parahydroxybenzoové v koncentraci 200 mg/l a hydrochinonu v koncentraci 100mg/l opakovaně nalezena neznámá látka.

Gallery of art, architecture and design is located at the corner between the streets “Koliště” and “Milady Horákové”. Urban design creates a conceptual link between “třída Kapitána Jaroše” and park “Koliště”. The whole consists of two buildings - the gallery building on the corner of land, and a building with facilities of gallery, commercial and other functions. The land is surrounded by busy traffic, so both masses turn away from these areas and they are open towards the passage between. Communications of gallery are located on the façade, creating a noise barrier, but it also has an exhibition function. The main exhibition spaces are designed as universal with artificial lighting and daylight roof. In the second building are administrative facilities of gallery, cafe shop and design shop in the pit, media library in second floor and studios on the top floor, which use permanent northern light. Both buildings are designed of concrete. The structural glass facade is in front of supporting structure of gallery.

Drug release from oligoester carriers

Tichopadová Olga: Drug release from oligoester carriers. Rigorous thesis. Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, 2006. The aim of this work was the study of the Terbinafine and Fluconazole release from oligoester carriers branched with 5 % of mannitol (5M) and 30% of dipentaerythritol (3D) and plasticized with various concentration of ethyl pyruvate (EP). The 150,0 mg matrices composed of carrier, drug of 4% and plasticizer EP of 10%, 20% and 30% were prepared. They were put to the static dissolution test using purified water at 37řC. The ACV released was determined spectrophotometricaly at 261 nm in case of Fluconazole respectively 283 nm in case of Terbinafine. Fluconazole was released from carrier 5M linearly from the 1st day to the 4th day of the dissolution test. The complete liberation was finished at the 8th day. Liberation form 3D carrier was slower with the 3-day lag time. Terbinafine release was provided in three stages and was depended on the plasticizer concentration.

Graduation Thesis is formed in two parts: theoretical and practical. These parts are not presented separate, because in practical part I tried to suggest and validate experimentally my own pedagogical project in conjunction with the theoretical part and it's content, where in the text those two parts support themselves.

In-store communication is part of marketing communication. Importance of in-store communication is on the rise, since mass-media communication is loosing its efficiency. In-store promotion works with variety of instrumens, how to influence customers right in the place of sale. How these instruments work and influence customers is the main focus of this thesis.

Standard and non-standard language in printed media communication and its impact on discussions about standard language

The present Master's thesis analyses language means in printed media with a particular focus on national daily newspapers from the second trimester of 1993. That year, there was an important linguistic conference on standardised Czech and language culture. The analysis examines especially language means that deviate from the standardised norm of the language. The theoretical part discusses key concepts, such as norm and codification or national language and its varieties. The understanding of these terms is critical for the analytical part of the thesis where language means used in printed media are being analysed using quantitative content analysis. The aim of this analysis is to describe their motivation of use and function. The results are then compared with the proceedings of the 1993 conference on standardised Czech and language culture held in Olomouc. The thesis provides a clear view on how the occurrence of non-standardised language means in media influences academic discussion on standardised Czech.

Cinematic Storytelling in Comics

The aim of this work is to point out the similarity of film and comics and thus also the possibility to read some film studies (or analyse films) with an overlap into the medium of comics. The selected method consists of analysing cinematic storytelling techniques and means of expression and their further use in the comics medium. To reach that aim this work uses an image appendix which in main part consists of the first chapter of the Watchmen by Alan Moore.

Social networks and new media

This bachelor thesis shares light on new media in the world we live in today, while focusing specifically on social networks. The theoretical part of the thesis is meant to describe selected networks from the most common types of social networks. This portion also includes their history of creation and development up to present days. Attention is primarily given to existing advertising formats and marketing strategies. The practical part of this thesis is concentrated on the effectiveness and advertisement of a particular organization who advertises through social networking sites. It also includes an advertising campaign proposals and recommendations for the other selected network sites.
