Exploitation and protection of natural resources in terms of law
Mazancová Dupláková, Daniela ; Damohorský, Milan (advisor) ; Sobotka, Michal (referee) ; Müllerová, Hana (referee)
This thesis focuses on legislation governing the use and protection of natural resources. In each chapter this thesis undertakes a comparison of Czech and Slovak legislation which governs the use and protection of natural resources. This thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter contains a general introduction of the role of natural resources in the society. The next chapter is focused on the regulation of the use and protection of natural resources through legislation, including international, EU law and national law. The third chapter deals with non renewables with an accent on the use and protection of mineral resources. Part of the third chapter is also focused on the use and protection of soil and water. The fourth chapter discusses renewables and specifically deals with the use and protection of flora, forests, fauna and renewable sources of energy. The final chapter contains a short excursion into the field of legal regulation of France. The use and protection of natural resources also has significance beyond national borders, so it is necessary to regulate the matter through instruments of international law and EU law. The basic framework for the use and protection of natural resources is determined by the constitutional order which lays down basic rights and duties generally...

Influence of Size Effect on Evaporation of Aerosol Nanoparticles
Levdansky, V.V. ; Smolík, Jiří ; Ždímal, Vladimír
Evaporation of nanoscale particles plays a significant role in many branches of nanotechnology and also in the atmospheric physics and chemistry. The classical approach to the description of evaporation of small (nanoscale) aerosol particles is usually based on the Kelvin equation. The mentioned equation was used in (Nanda et al., 2003) to interpret the results of experiments related to evaporation of free Ag nanoparticles. The authors of the above-mentioned paper assume that the surface tension of free Ag nanoparticles can be significant greater than the mentioned value for bulk matter. It is worth noting that this assumption is in contradiction with the Tolman theory (Tolman, 1949). Below we consider the influence of the size dependence of the cohesive energy in the nanoparticle on its evaporation.

Return to the Pure Baroque. The State of the Church of St. Margaret in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou after General Overhall Reconstruction
Höferová, Jana ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Pučalík, Marek (referee)
Return to Pure Baroque. The State of the Church of St. Margaret in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou after General Overhall Reconstruction This thesis is focused on the course of the overall reconstruction of the Baroque church of St. Margaret in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou, underlining dicretion of its execution. What matters, are not just the reconstruction works but renovation of the whole image as the interior's one as the exteriors one, which was by its end evaluated by The National Heritage Instituon as pure Baroque. Firstly, for better understanding of the situation and introducing a reader into a relationship with fine Baroque architecture and decoration, a brief history of the town, the church as well as Questenberk's ancestry, who put an effort in the Baroque reconstruction of the church and the Jaromerice's castle as well, is described. In conclusion, one can get known how the church looks like nowadays and who a dean, Fr. Václav Kuchler, who initiated the general reconstruction and thus preserved the church from destruction, was. Consequently, there are some false facts, again and again repeated in previous sources, shown on light. BAROQUE CHURCH ARCHITECT ARTWORK RESTAURATION

Written texts in the matter-of-fact functional style on the internet
MARKOVÁ, Veronika
The bachelor thesis examines the current language of the written texts in the opinion forum of the news server Novinky.cz. The aim was to find out the concordance between spontaneous unprepared written communiqué and primarily spoken communiqué and to recall features of written text which are retained by spontaneous unprepared written communiqué. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I dealt with the definition of Standard Czech and linguists´ attitude to its function in society. Then, I was interested in the influence of stylistic factors on the development of written and spoken communiqués. Studied technical lit erature I compared the communiqué spoken to the written one and I characterized the properties of monologic and dialogic speech. Great attention was devoted to the spoken and written language in the media, i.e. radio, television and the Internet. The last part of the theoretical chapter discusses the emergence of the Internet and division of electronic communication. In the practical part, I focused on language analysis of contributions to the discussions in terms of phonetics, morphology, lexicology and syntax. I demonstrated the penetration of colloquial Czech, Common Czech and dialectal variants in written utterances on the Internet in each laguage level. The work also relates to the method of communication between the debaters and the topic of discussion posts. In the final part, I pointed to features of written form which these communiqués preserved.

EU - Canada Economic Relations: A Suitable Framework for Business Activities?
Chaloupka, Jan ; Cihelková, Eva (advisor) ; Bič, Josef (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to survey the current cooperation between the European Union and Canada and its future development and thus answer the question of whether the current situation with respect to the planned legislative and institutional steps presents a suitable framework for realisation of business activities in these economies. The thesis is focused on, from my point of view, crucial and most discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the field of business, commerce and investment. None the less important levels of collaboration, such as education, science and research, energy and cooperation in safety and peace matters cannot be neglected, either. These areas do not stand in the centre of the thesis, however, their inclusion completes the overall image of the complexity of bilateral relations between the European Union and Canada.

Vliv silného gravitačního pole kompaktních objektů na jejich záření
Sochora, Vjačeslav ; Karas, Vladimír (advisor) ; Schee, Jan (referee)
In the present work we describe different cosmic systems that contain the compact objects (neutron stars or black holes). The accretion of the matter on the compact object is a main source of the radiation and that is why we consider several models of accretion. The energy of emitted radiation is different from the observed energy due to the gravitational redshift and the Doppler shift. We are interested in the minimum and maximum values of this change of emitted radiation. We show how to calculate these extremes in Kerr metric by the help of the elliptic integrals assuming that the emission radius, the angular momentum of black hole, and the inclination angle of the observer are given.

The Land Registry
Pavlová, Denisa ; Franková, Martina (referee) ; Drobník, Jaroslav (advisor)
- 56 - VIII. Resumé This diploma thesis deals with the problematics of the land registry in the Czech Republic. The emphasis was put on the development of the real estate record and the current state of the land registry - what is recorded, who is it administred by, what legislation is it based on, all with special regard to practical functioning of the land registry. The first property register was is dated in the year 1022. It was introduced for the tax purposes by the duke Oldřich. Historicaly, it served as a tool of tax collection of dependents, while aristocracy had special privileges. these privileges were preserved under the reign of Marie Terezie when an inventory of entire estate of dependents as well as aristocracy was introduced. Till nowadays many changes were made. In the past, land registery was run by court, however, today the control is performed by administrative authority, i.e. Land registry office.Courts are independent administrative bodies, holding the function of arbitrator in disputes. Today, land registry is ruled by the law 344/1992 Sb., Land Registry of the Czech Republic. Its use is not only fot the tax purpose but also for the statistical, technical and research matters. Moreover, the information systém is a source of information that serves for protection of rights to real...

Perpectives of crude oil market developement
Vosková, Michala ; Lukáš, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kalínská, Emílie (referee)
Crude oil is an important commodity of world trade and it has become an essential part of everyday life. It is a necessary condition of economic growth, which in the current situation of economic boom of China, India and other developing countries entails an economically, ecologically, socially and geopolitically unsustainable problem. The turbulent sequence of past events on the crude oil market only foreshadows the future development that is going to occure after achieving the crude oil production peak. The following irreversible changes will be more revolutionary than evolutional. The era of cheap oil will parish and the 21st century is going to be distinguished by fights for energy and resources. This is one of the reasons why many renowned institutions and organisations are concerned with these questions, trying to predict future scenarios and find feasible solutions. The world needs secure, renewable and environmentally friendly energy sources, however crude oil is unfortunately none of them. Radical transition from crude oil economy to a clean alternative one, that is probably the most suitable solution to current situation, will require engagement of governments, organisations and individuals as well. It is an inevitable step of preserving the world for humanity and the coming generations. Crude oil market perspectives are quite well foreseeable for the coming decades, questionable remains only the proper solution of the rising problems and action of taking the correct steps in the right direction.

Energy policy in Canada
Brunclíková, Jana ; Bič, Josef (advisor) ; Vondrušková, Barbora (referee)
Canada dispose of a rich variety of energy resources including oil, gas, coal and uranium. As a net exporter of all these commodities and all the related top technologies and services, the Canadian Confederation has all the favorable conditions for a successful energy policy. Oil and gas industry was one of the most supported sectors of the Canadian economy. Many regulations were established in the 60's. Significant Federal and Provincial tax incentives were available for the development of the industry. But now, liberalization seems to be the new rule. Despite considerable economic gain, increasing proportion of oil and gas exportations, compared to the total production, brings concerns about the future energy security and the environment. Moreover, the beginning of the bitumen sand production represents the biggest ecology threat in the Canadian near future. As the system of governance is deeply decentralized in Canada, this report shows the necessity of federal-provincial cooperation, no matter the differences in the individual energy policies.
