Teaching of Spanish language to students with specific learning disabilities
Mattasová, Monika ; Mištinová, Anna (advisor) ; Špaček, Jiří (referee)
When teacher of spanish language meets in his professional life some students with problem called specific learning disabilities, it`s important for him to be informed about their difficulties with learning foreign language. For these students is characteristic the deficit in their visual and auditive perception. They need tailor-made approach of the teacher. Among the specific learning disabilities, which complicates learning of foreign language, are counted foremost dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysorthographia. These students often have also certain psychical problems and problems with behaviour. The intelligence of these students is equal or higher than average. While learning spanish, difficulties of sutdents with specific learning diabilities are manifesting in various fields of language. The most difficult things are these, which are different from the mother language. However these students have also problems with relatively easz things. The greatest difficulties is caused by the velocity of spanish. Because of it the students have problems with uderstanding, because of the deficit of the fonematic hearing they hardly recognize for example boundaries of words. There are various compensatory aids for sutdents with specific learning disabilities. The multisensorial computer program Jazyky bez bariér...

Prevention of health complications in hyperphenylalaninemia - one of the most common metabolic disorders
Havrlíková, Eva ; Pazdírková, Renáta (advisor)
Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a metabolic disorder affecting the metabolism of essential aromatic amino acid phenylalanine. The mode of inheritance for PKU is autosomal recessive. Nearly all cases are caused by mutations in the gene encoding PAH and its deficiency, which has been mapped to chromosome 12. More than 500 have been identified, the most common mutation in The Czech Republic and in The Europe is R408W. The hepatic enzyme phenylalanine hydroxylase (PAH) catalyzes the conversion of phenylalanine to tyrosine. Complete enzyme deficiency results in classical PKU, in which serum phenylalanine concentration exceeds 20 mg/dL (1200 micromol/L) and levels are elevated in the urine. Residual enzyme activity causes mild PKU (phenylalanine concentration 10 to 20 mg/dL, 600 to 1200 micromol/L) and mild hyperphenylalanemia (mild HPA, phenylalanine concentration 2.5 to 10 mg/dL, 150 to 600 micromol/L). Tyrosine concentration is normal or nearly normal. Tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) is a cofactor required for PAH activity. Defects in BH4 metabolism account for approximately 1-2 percent of patients with elevated phenylalanine levels. In untreated patients, the hallmark of the disease is mental retardation and other neurological and psychical symptoms including epilepsy, but because of widespread neonatal screening,...

The nutritional importance of polyphenols in berries
MARTANOVÁ, Anna
People's nutrition is inseparable part of our lives. We could include substances, that we know are healtful, to our food. If we don't have enough of the substances, we can see negative effects on human organism. The substances are named micronutrients and vitamins. We could enrich a diet with substances that we think are healthy, but their deficit doesn't case pathological symptoms. Food which we put to this category is possible to name as function food. Function food contains substances which have positive effect on our health. One of the substances are polyphenols. This issue is very interesting for me, because polyphenols are compounds that are among others particulary found in berries, especially in blueberries. Blueberries are berries that are widespread throughout the world. One of the best sources of blueberries is also Sumava, where I come from and where blueberries are well connected. The first part of my thesis is about the functional foods and ingredients that make these foods Functional foods. Ordering: probiotics, prebiotics, synobiotiks, micronutrients, fytochemiks and polyphenols. Farther the first part deals with berries, specializing in blueberry and its properties and composition, which can have a positive impact on human health. In the second part there were two objectives of the work. The first aim of my study was to determine the diet, which includes foods that contain the optimum intake of polyphenols, equivalent to 120 ml of fetal native blueberries. Polyphenols are that part of blueberries, which make them so special. In the diet were preferentially embedded short dishes that have undergone heat treatment. Analyses of polyphenols in foods and beverages I got with the program GEOMED hospital Ceske Budejovice, Inc., Department of Clinical Pharmacology. Results polyphenol content were performed by HPLC. The content of polyphenols in native blueberries was laid as equal to 1 and the contents examined further product was then expressed as a multiple or ratio of the native blueberries. I take into account all these factors when drawing up the model menu. Another aim I have set is to map products in which the content of polyphenol is beneficial. There is a high number of products with blueberry flavour on the market. The content of blueberries, however, is often negligible. The surprising result was the polyphenol content in lemonade Toma, whose relative value ug / ml is 2.59 when compared with the native blueberry, which is placed as equal to 1. After the development work, in which I obtained information from the literature search, the sales network and the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Hospital Ceske Budejovice, I would like to say that blueberries are an important source of polyphenols and that a diet which will include daily equivalent of receiving polyphenols, may not in any way differ from a regular rational diet. Not even cooking the dish precludes putting together this diet because blueberries are relatively stable against temperature changes. Inclusion of such a diet in the catering equipment could bring a positive impact in the future, especially for older people by improving memory function and balance.

Clarinet Teaching connected with the methodological and Psychological Preparation
Dittrichová, Lucie ; HLAVÁČ, Jiří (advisor) ; MAREŠ, Vlastimil (referee)
My thesis deals with the problem of teaching clarinet playing. It examines psychological aspects of pupil?s and teacher?s personality and methodological rules at different levels of education. Includes the practise in playing the preparatory instruments (recorder, chalumeau, clarinéo) through basic music education, studying at the conservatory, to the academic study. The main part of the thesis is a chapter that describes the various ways of teaching - not only with future professionals but also concerns education of amateur musicians and popularizing classical music through modern teaching materials (interactive textbooks, internet, workshops).

Suicide as Search of Life
Žák, Stanislav ; Ventura, Václav (advisor) ; Hogenová, Anna (referee) ; Budil, Ivo (referee)
Searching for the primary causes of human suicidal behaviour, if any primary causes even exists, I put the following question: Is voluntary termination of life something abnormal that has its cause in health, psychical or social stress of the individual or does it not have to be so? If the cause of human suicidal behaviour is the result of any disturbance in the organism, why the suicide rate increases the most where health care is at the maximum possible level and where the suicide is, in terms of cultural history, considered to be a symptom of one of the worst health abnormalities or ethic aberrances of human life? Can the causes of human suicidal behaviour also consist in other things than in health, psychological or social breakdown of human organism? In my thesis, I seek the answer to this question. It is generally known that the human is a very complex being which needs not only good health and social conditions but also spiritual conditions for its life and survival. In my opinion, it is a tragedy of scientifically focused approach of the modern era, which at the same time rigorously restricts socially acknowledged boundaries of human knowledge, that it refuses to take into account the research of this fourth dimension of human existence. It was C. G. Jung who came to this opinion; as he says: "Where...

Legal status of a surety in tax proceedings
Nováková, Alena ; Marková, Hana (advisor) ; Kohajda, Michael (referee)
Diplomová práce Resumé ____________________________________________________________________________ Legal status of a surety in tax proceedings Resume This paper deals with the legal status of a surety pursuant to the Tax and Fee Administration Act and to the applicable Code of Tax Procedure not effective yet. It is generally known that the procedural legal status of a surety in tax proceedings has always been one of the problematic topics for tax administration. It was covered by Section 57, Subs. 5 of Tax and Fee Administration Act No. 337/1992 Coll. as amended, by one paragraph only, which resulted in many disputes, discussions, and last but not least, civil proceedings. This was mostly caused by the fact that standing surety for someone, being one of the securities provided, was ranked in section six, called "Tax payment"; however, a surety had never been explicitly stated in legal provisions which related to its legal status. The judicature had always characterised only a principal, not a surety. The surety was explicitly mentioned in the provisions of S. 7, Subs. 2 ZSDP, in which it was ranked as a party to tax proceedings. However, this only meant that a surety did not have the status of a tax principal or its rights or obligations, although, by operation of law, it bore the responsibility for any...

Scripting engine in .NET
KARDA, Ladislav
The target of this work is to introduce scripting as a whole including its possibilities and to create a class, which permits scripting; it means modification of source code of the script and its execution in malicious code-safe environment. .NET environment and Boo scripting language are accentuated here. In the second chapter, there is the introduction itself. Scripts are divided into categories according to their usability. This division is just a general one because some languages may belong to more than one group. Every language is briefly described. The last subchapter is dedicated to Boo programming language which was chosen for application in .NET. The third chapter familiarizes the reader with the Microsoft .NET technology. Advantages and principles of its behaviour are listed here. There are mentioned Common Language Infrastructure, Common Language Runtime and Common Intermediate Language. There is a characteristic of the development environment for .NET languages. The fourth chapter deals with practical realization of the selected task; it means creation of the scripting class. The first part of this chapter defines some specifications of the Boo language and the other part pursues to explanation of the class creation. The main stress is on security against malicious code. In the appendices, there is a listing of a source code of the Booish class {--} an interactive interpreter of the Boo language {--} and the ScriptHost class which ensures right and safe fulfilment of the script in C# and/or Boo languages. The ScriptHost class can be used even outside the GREG project; it is possible to use it everywhere where you need dynamical language processing {--} C# or Boo.

In conclusion, I assess the benefits of European-wide immigration policy.

Homeland Studies Educational Walk in the Surroundings of Prague Focused on Geology
