Modern technologies and their application to tourism

The main objective of this work was the identification of modern technologies in tourism. The secondary objective was to apply these technologies in tourism and propose measures to improve the situation. First, it was necessary to study literature and write the literature search. Then was carried out a field survey. The results of the investigation were used to determine how are the selected technology used by tourists. These results were also the basis for the proposed measures. These should serve businesses better adapt to the current requirements of its customers.
Graphic design of mobile web

This Bachelor thesis deals with the graphic web design which is optimized for mobile phones. The introduction is about the properties of mobile phones and its users in a way that is important to a website design. The mobile web and its possible alternatives are described after the introduction. After this preface is a chapter devoted directly to graphic design of mobile website (general principles, specifics, layout recommendations). This knowledge is used to design a graphic design on a specific case-study. For create graphic design mobile site was chosen Integrated Study Information System at the University of Economics, Prague. A research was made among the users of the information system. It focused on using a mobile phone to visit Integrated Study Information System and which applications of this System, students use the most. Based on this research, information architecture was determined and a graphic design of basic screens of school information system was designed according to this information architecture. In the end of the thesis the final design is presented to selected students who will evaluate the information architecture and the graphic design of the selected screens in order to show the correct evaluation of research among students and the final outcome meets students needs.
Analysis and distribution of mobile applications

The main subject of this thesis is analysis of distribution and direct sale of paid software applications for mobile platforms. The main efford is to introduce the biggest companies on mobile market and their distributions canals, which are later researched. The aim of this work is to create a comprehensive picture about situation on the market, its development and further predictions. For analysis are used data from sales reports and other internet sources. In addition, my work includes summary of the situation at Czech mobile and application market.
Mobime marketing

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to describe current options of mobile marketing, to present its forms and to analyse usage of mobile applications on the Czech market. Utilization of the mobile application that agregates restaurants which deliver food is evaluated based on analysis that is part of this thesis. The thesis identifies attitude of owners of restaurants to the mobile application via author's own research. The thesis analyses marketing communication inside the mobile application based on its effectiveness, which is compared to conventional forms of marketing. The thesis also formulates hints and suggestions for further development of the mobile application.
The use of mobile applications in the enterprise

The main objective of diploma thesis is to describe and analyze the issue of mobile devices and mobile applications, focusing on their usage in the information system of enterprise in terms of deployment rules for security, mobile device management and enterprise operation in implementing mobile policy in to business. The diploma deals with aspects related to the deployment of mobile enterprise policy in terms of choosing the right operator, a suitable mobile platform, mobile device management and applications to ensure optimal information security in company. The aim is compare Czech operators and most frequent mobile operating platforms in terms of business needs and determine the most appropriate mobile operator and mobile operating system suitable for the implementation of mobile policy in to business. Another goal is analyze and describe the method of mobile device management and applications, and to ensure their safety and universally describe the main advantages and disadvantages of deploying mobile policy in to business. The practical part is focused on the public inquiry to identify and analyze the current situation of enterprises in implementing mobile policies in the Czech Republic. Survey results are analyzed, described and summarized in the recommendations and alternative solutions for Czech companies for next years.
Design of methodology for implementation of mobile device management in a BYOD environment

This master thesis is focused on topic of using mobile devices in work environment of enterprises, specifically on using mobile devices owned by employees. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part of the thesis describes benefits and risks of using mobile devices in enterprises while allowing usage of mobile devices owned by employees and compares individual mobile platforms in terms of security. Also there is a comparison of individual mobile devices management solutions in terms of security in this part of the thesis. Second part of the thesis is focused on methodology of mobile devices implementation in enterprises and their security. Methodology describes activities required for implementation of mobile devices in enterprises. At the end of this part there are security recommendations which are suitable to apply to mobile devices in enterprises.
Analysis of business models in the gaming industry

The topic of this thesis is to analyze the business models currently used in the gaming industry. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current economic situation of the industry, distribution channels, used technologies and business practices from the perspective of all market participants. The theoretical part is due to less frequent topic devoted to the description of all entities of gaming industry. It analyzes not only all the actors involved in the development of video games and their subsequent sale but also the technical tools used to play games and also the players themselves. Video games are divided into two main streams (hardcore and casual) which also determine the structure and analysis. The analytical part focuses on capturing the most widely used business models and their combination for the sale of the video games. Models are then categorized into two groups (goods and services) and represent two different approaches to pricing scenarios. For each business model describes the basic principle, its pros and cons, the factors influencing the successful implementation and an example of the use of the model in practice. The analysis also includes the socio-economic profiles of two major market segments. In conclusion, based on the current developments and current trends in the field across the gambling industry the work tries to predict the future development of business models and for video games respectively. the whole industry.
Analysis of mobile platforms and possibilities of marketing of applications

The subject matter of the thesis is an analysis of selected mobile platforms operat-ing at present on the market. Presentation of individual platforms as to their history up to now, architecture and the present version of the operating system. At the end of the theo-retic part, I will compare two most frequently used platforms according to the chosen crite-ria. The objective of the thesis is to elaborate the pattern of the present market for mobile platforms. The practical part will be focused on the possibilities of marketing of applications, distribution channels of the platforms. Publishing and promotion of the specific application and monitoring of its success via an analytic programme.
Windows Phone7 Application with Backend on Windows Azure

The main objective of this diploma thesis is to design and develop a cloud hosted service that allows developers of games for Windows Phone 7 platform to extend their products with social and competitive aspect using Platform as a Service solution Windows Azure for hosting the backend of this system. The first part of the thesis analyses systems that are available on the market and that are providing similar services for the target platform. Based on this analysis, functional and general requirements for the future application are specified in the second part. Based on these requirements, use case analysis is made. The third part of the thesis is dedicated to description of the most important features, APIs and specifics of the Windows Phone 7 software platform. The fourth part is dedicated to Windows Azure as a Cloud platform both in terms of most important services, their characteristics and APIs used to utilise them and in terms of their business and pricing conditions. The fifth part addresses the architecture and the most important implementation details of the application. The final part contains the user guide for both the Windows Phone 7 application and for developers interested in using the library containing the API during the development of their game. The output of this thesis is the designed and implemented application with client-server architecture ready to have its backend deployed in Windows Azure environment and to have its frontend deployed on Windows Phone 7 devices. The client part of the system is comprised of a library intended for developers of games, which encapsulates the API needed to access the backend on the Internet, and a graphic frontend intended for end users. The server part, which contains most of the application logic, has REST interface. The applications architecture allows future development in terms of new functionality and expansion on more client platforms.

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis and the comparison of the most used mobile operating systems, their versions, description of developer and distribution process-es into mobile stores with applications. Subjects of the analysis and the comparison are the most important mobile operating system - Android, iOS and Windows Phone. Part of this thesis is also evaluation of internet survey made to gain data how the users use and know their smartphone, mobile operating system and applications.
