Dobroucký, Martin ; Bureš, Tomáš (advisor) ; Svoboda, Martin (referee)
The wide spread of GPS devices capable of recording motion tracks has provided a huge amount of GPS track data with lots of information that can be used in various ways. Typical use of the data is to visualize the trajectory, but this is certainly only elementary use of the data. Additional processing, filtering and altering of data can significantly improve their information value. For example identification of popular places or routes, detection and removal of inaccurate parts of tracks, accenting speed or elevation progress on track, etc. The aim of the thesis is to identify and describe best solutions to process and visualize GPS track datasets. That means analysis of a standalone track, mutual comparison of several tracks or identification of characteristics of a large tracks set. The thesis will include a prototype implementation of selected described methods.

Unlawful use of a copyrighted work, author's fee
Doležel, Emil ; Wünschová Pujmanová, Alexandra (advisor) ; Žikovská, Petra (referee)
For the entire existence of authorship, as the relationship between creator and his work, author crafts were sometimes also used wrongly, that is, without the knowledge and permissions of the author. However only by establishing of the Copyright law began the fight against this phenomenon, which is undesirable for both individuals (the authors) as well as for society as a whole. The society is lacking part of its progress as a result of this phenomenon, which is nothing more than theft - in terms of intellectual property - using author's craft without providing adequate reward, and thus are authors discouraged in their next work. Copyright law has almost perfectly described this problem and also laid down rules, which can help each author, but also the State as a defender of social interests, effectively intervene against unauthorized use of copyright crafts. This project provides a general overview of the issue of unauthorized use of author crafts and royalties, in particular by the legislation of the Czech Republic, effective on 31st August 2008.

Support of bachelor and master thesis couching
Winkler, Jakub ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Bartoš, Jan (referee)
Today, procedure of creating bachelor and master thesis suffers from many problems. Amongst them the main issue would consist of absence of central storage ability connected to creating and couching the thesis. In practice that would mean information about records from consultation, comments to thesis etc. are to be lost and neither student, nor his thesis couch can take a look to the history of thesis progress. Furthermore, there is a lack of date registration for consultations and deadlines of handing out thesis. As a consequence, both efficiency and quality of final thesis are decreased by such poor management. As a solution, support of whole thesis procedure with software tool is suggested. There are many options of such software solutions, however only one is the most suitable and that is exactly what this thesis is trying to find. Thesis formulates requirements for such software application, after the analysis of current situation and identification of core issues. Application should bring improvement of the situation and at the same time should be users, operational and financially acceptable. From wide spectrum of available solutions, only those which had fulfilled basic conditions were chosen. Basic conditions such as: users interface in Czech language, saving documents availability and large capacity of users accounts. Final group of potential solutions was put through detail analysis for support utility for thesis couching. This analysis finally shows the most suitable solution. This bachelor thesis brings analysis of utility for commonly available web application or hosted applications for bachelor and diploma thesis couching. The implementation could be done quickly without further problems, thanks to the undemanding IT and financial requirements of software application. After finding the most suitable solution, this thesis shows how large scale of efficiency Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 brings. Furthermore, at the end of this thesis, many more options for using this application are shown.

The text aims to introduce television as a medium that is constantly evolving, as well as the and its audience. Based on this assumption, we will examine television from the perspective of several main media theorists. In fact, there are several basically different views on this medium and its audience. Especially older writers such as Pierre Bourdieu, Neil Postman, Jeremy Orlebar or Guy Debord, have become accustomed to television and the overall medial platform as manipulative and television audience passive. On the other hand, there are also several authors, who see media in progress, digitization and the emergence of new media as new possibilities. We are talking about Pierre Levy, Don Tapscott and Axel Bruns. Between the two opposites are still moving Stuart Hall and John Fiske. Special attention will be devoted to the issue of the gradual development of television as a medium and its audience. Television is in fact considered as one of the traditional (old) media, however, it is changing with technological developments and respond to innovation. I will try to answer the question of what television as we know it today, uses of old and...
