NEW APPROCHES FOR SECURING SAFE WORKING METHODS ON CONSTRUCTION SITES AND PROTECTION OF THIRD PARTIES DURING CONSTRUCTION

Safety and protection of health on construction sites and protection of third parties during construction is a complex problem. It is affected by contractor’s policy on ensuring thorough abidance to security requirements but, in the first place it is affected by submitters and their irresponsible appreach to protection of life and health of the construction workers. They believe that ensuring safe work enviroment would reset in increased cosi of the construction. This doctoral thesis answers the question how to guarantee safety on construction sites. The main purpose is to show that early detection of risks does not increase the construction costs but ensures safety of workers protection of third parties. Finally, the doctoral thesis provils methodology, which guides the contractor in how to proceed in order to meet the budget, schedule and safety requirements. In regard of the variety of different construction sites and works this docáral thesis focuses explicitly on line constructions.

The first is about the theory of project management and construction organization, the second part analyzes the contracting authority and the contractor of the construction contract and solves the process of awarding and obtaining a public contract. Subject matter of performance and liability for a breach of obligations from contracts for work in international trade

This dissertation deals with how the subject matter of performance under a contract for work is defined and issues related to formulating the rights and obligations ensuing therefrom. At the same time, it seeks common legal sources existing across national laws which provide definitions thereof. It attempts to find a common definition of contracts for work and how they differ from other similar contracts. It further defines some common basic features and problems related to contracts for work which apply in international trade or in cases where parties decide to formulate their contract by reference to international contract conditions. In that context, it primarily refers to construction contracts as the most common type of contract for work in international trade. At the same time, it focuses on the possible consequences of a breach of contract and emphasizes some parties' claims ensuing therefrom. Moreover, this work examines the definition of work defects and conditions for asserting claims as a specific topic, which relates to the definition of the subject matter of a contract for work and its basic features. Price of the construction order from the view of contractor

Subject of Bachelor these is a modification of price for offer costing by construction of kindergarten, which is integrate to a complex "Panorama nad přehradou" in Brno. Theoretical part solves pricing of construction work, dividing of unit costs and structure of building costing. The practical part analyses offer costing of a concrete construction work and focuses on negative profit in offer costing. There is also detailed analysis of individual item in construction costing and change of price and on basis of change of price try to improve profitability of construction work from the point of view of contractor.

1 Abstract Contract for Work The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the regulation of contract for work in Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. The thesis is composed of two parts. The first one contains historical background and the second one deals with the current regulation. The second part is subdivided into eighteen chapters. References to Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code, are also made within the analysis of current regulation. The Draft Common Framework of Reference is mentioned at relevant points and for comparison with foreign regulations the law of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the law of Germany were selected. Chapter one deals with definition, object of work and it is pointed out that the result of work does not have to be of a physical substance. In the second chapter, the contract for work is distinguished from the other types of contract. A separate chapter deals with the form and it is followed up by the chapter on pre-contractual obligations. The fifth chapter concentrates on transfer of risk and ownership title. Price of Construction and Possibilities of Supplier

The aim of this thesis is to describe the possibilities contractor in determining the price at possible changes during the process of construction supplies. You need to have a set price of construction work, which is a necessary part of the work contract. It is good to know the rights and obligations of the parties in the construction. In the practical part, the work deals with the possibility of fixing prices as well by the contractor under the contract for work.

In the thesis Contract for work in the theoretical part is described statutory regulation of the contract for work. There are explained basic concepts related to the contract for work. The thesis deals with the comparison of the current legislation contained in the Civil Code and the earlier legislation contained in the original Civil Code and in the original Commercial Code. The practical part is focused on a specific court proceedings in The District Court Pilsen north. The causes of disputes are investigated. On specific causes the most often mistakes of the participant are demonstrated. The mistakes of participants are analysed with regard to subsequent court decisions. From the mistakes found is evident that the parties enter into a contractual relationship uninformed and unaware of the possible consequences related to the conclusion of the contract. They underestimate the possible consequences associated with the fulfillment of their obligations. The aim of the thesis is mainly to highlight the risks associated with contracing for work. The insufficiencies of contracts can lead to a hard enforceability of law. In conclusion of the thesis there can be find recommendations how to avoid mistakes when contracting for work and how to prevent lawsuits. If it comes to the lawsuit there is a recommendation how to succeed. The thesis is proposing how to eliminate the shortcommings of the current legislation regarding the contracts for work.
Factors affecting the price of construction work in selected areas of the Czech Republic

The purpose of this bachelor´s thesis is determination of factors affecting the price construction work. The determination factors are reached by using survey construction companies which will indicate and evaluate the factors. In the end of this bachelor´s thesis are budgets of buildings which provided building companies and budget created to compare price (are compared from standard items).
