ACTOR AS A CREATOR OF SOUND COMPONENT IN A AUTHOR`S PROJECT

The bachelor thesis contains a brief insight into the theory of music and sound on the stage. Describes differences in the use of sound between specific types of theater. It continues with the personal reflection of the author of the work and describes his most crucial moments during his studies, when he met with the music as an actor on stage, how he worked and how he benefited from it.
Jiri Trnka's Scenography in the National Theatre

Jiri Trnka (1912 - 1969) ranks among the foremost representatives of Czech modern art in the 20th century and alongside the most remarkable protagonists of the visual art scene over a period ranging from the late 1930s through the end of the1960s. He stood out within that movement for his multiple talents, as a draughtsman, book illustrator, puppet designer, painter, animated film-maker, sculptor and stage designer. He achieved admirable success in these fields of activity. In the early 40s a new prospect opened up for him connected with work in theatre, as he took up the post of stage designer at the National Theatre in Prague, an assignment which enabled him to put to use his specific talent for stagecraft. He created 13 stage decorations together. Trnka was able to create unforgettable productions thanks the cooperation with Jiri Frejka or Karel Dostal. I documented and explained Trnka's work in the context of the Nation Theatre during the Second World War. I defined his style in the relation to his contemporaries in the end of work. The House - the Place of Human Family

The work deals with the analysis of literary works, where the story takes place inside the house, namely the rental house. This is a very specific area where large number of meetings and encounterings of tenants takes place. This fact brings great potential to create various sub-plots. Chosen literary works are Week in the quiet house and Figures by Jan Neruda, House in the suburb by Karel Polacek and Spring in the house by Jaroslav Havlicek. The work examines what role the house takes in different literary works, how it is displayed and how it is involved in developing the plot and characters.
Music Club Brno

The theme of the project is a new music club with reharsal rooms and recording studio in the center of Brno, Obilní trh. The site is situated on the slope next to the castle Špilberk. The proposal is based on an openness to the public, trying to captivate, pull in and make a passerby the visitor. The whole complex is made of three solitary objects that escalates its scale from view and trying not to create a barrier, but rather give the impression of accessibility. The site of this complex, along with trees, creates a park enviroment which enables the views to the castle Špilberk. The buildings are partially buried in the hillside terrain and directly connected to the extensive green roof, which creates a friendly terrace where you can watch the street or the artists inside the building. Functional content is divided into three objects. The largest one is a music club, including foyer, 2 music halls, terrace allowing views to the Obilní trh, backstages for musicians and garages. The second, single-storey building with a courtyard includes ateliers, reharsal rooms and a sociable relax corridors. The last, two-storey building includes a recording studio, which is situated right inside the courtyard.
Influence of Disposition of Opera Stage and Orchestra Pit on Theatre Acoustics

This semestral thesis describes messurement of reverberation time, monaural and binaural impluse response Divadlo na Orlí during positioning of sound-source in orchestra pit and on the stage. Theoretical part describes messurement of reverberation time and objectiv criteria of soundfield quality in concert and opera. The practical part describes messurement in Divadlo na Orlí and computations in program Matlab. The thesis compares results in various configuration of theratre hall and describes common advices for operas in Divadlo na Orlí.

Spas are designed on the principle of stage and auditorium, where the visitor becomes either actor or observer; actor or spectator. Fragmenting each "act" active activities through a carefully programmed observation sites and vistas is needed to create tension between actor and observer. "Story" is is revealed gradually, and his understanding is necessary to move the proposed space and rotate each "Auditorium". Achieve a comprehensive sensation viewer is associated with the need to crawl space spa. Act is repeated. From the viewer becomes an actor and the actor spectator. User Interface for Theatre Control System

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the technical equipment of theatre stage. In this work is offered the overview of stage technology and its control and furthermore the overview about user interfaces. The main goal was to create a new user interface for control system of upper and bottom machinery with the intention of application possibilities in distributed control systems with several operator stations.
Theatre Stage Control System with Graphics Interface

The topic of the bachelor work is control of theatre stage technology. The methods and algorithms of control of electric motors and other action elements are discussed along with specific requirements for theatre technology and its simulation. Also, a simulator of stage connected to the user interface was implemented.

This thesis deals with questions of modelling and 3D visualization. Also, it involves an overview of technical equipment on a theatre stage and control systems of this machinery with accent on user interface and all the interaction with staff. Afterwards, the main topic is the investigation of 3D visualization utilization technology in the field of theatre stage control systems and then the proposal and implementation of the theatre stage 3D visualization application follows in order to increase a clearness and safety of operation with the theatre control system.
