The influence of selected didactical aids in environmental education at kindergarten.

The bachelor's thesis deals with selected didactic tools used in environmental education which is an integral part of the educational process in kindergartens. The theoretical part defines environmental education, its position in the framework educational programme, methods, goals and risks. It also deals with the upbringing and education of the target group, i.e. pre-school children. The practical part includes a collection of materials with activities which use real natural materials as didactic tools. The activities from the collection were applied to a heterogeneous group of children in the age of 5-6 years. The educational offer was complemented by other activities than only those environment-focused (these are only a part of it) for the sake of complex development of children. Reflection of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Schools of Art in Czech Elementary Art Education

The Ph.D. thesis Reflection of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Schools of Art in Czech Elementary Art Education deals with current development of pedagogical reform and its implication in lessons of music theory at basic schools of art. It traces its historic development and changes in educational content, methods and organizational forms of education, according to resources that are at disposal. Based on the research, current pedagogical reform helped to define content and scope of work in lessons of music theory. It enabled to adjust its educational content to specific conditions and profile of individual schools, it gave new view of teaching goals and strengthened teacher's position in creation of strategic school documents. Content based, interpretation skills are complemented with understanding of music core; pupils'values and attitudes are built. Among popular teaching methods feature critical thinking, peer learning and group work, learning through demonstration and actions. The most frequently used progressive method, according to the research, is the simulation method. Taxidermal Mounts of the Fish Body

The thesis presents methodology of creating whole-fish dermoplastic models. It is primarily intended for teachers of natural history and biology. The results are based on mapping out both modern and traditional methods of fish taxidermy. By empirical verification and introduction of new methods, a comprehensive manual of fish taxidermy was created. It can serve as a useful didactic tool. Methodology also describes the issue of obtaining and preserving fish specimen. Profound knowledge of fish anatomy is a necessary prerequisite for specimen taxidermy, thus methodology also includes anatomical overview and guidelines for fish anatomical dissection. The output of the practical part of the thesis are dermoplastic fish models which became part of the specimen collection at the Department of Biology and Environmental Studies at the Faculty of Pedagogics at Charles University, where they are meant to be used for educational purposes. Methodological part of the thesis evaluates the experience gained during the process of model creation. Educational Intervention in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Preschool

This thesis concerns the educational methods applied by teachers of kindergartens and where children with autism spectrum disorder are educated. In the theoretical part of the thesis autism spectrum disorders, their etiology, classification and diagnosis are described. Further there is a description of preschool education approches, to children with autism, and the system cooperation with other partners (SPC, teacher's assistants, parents, school). There are also listed different educational methods and tools used in the educational process. The research part in the form of a qualitative research is devoted to the most frequently methods and devices used and to the level of teacher's collaboration with the others for the healthy development of the child. Everything is viewed from the kindergarten teachers perspective. All teachers work in Prague, in the kindergarten and preschools where children with autism are educated.
Preferences in key elements of a didactic process of non-formal education of adult learners from the perspective of age cohorts

4 Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify preferences in key elements of the didactic process, namely in didactic forms, didactic methods, teacher roles, teaching aids, didactic technology and seating arrangements, at those adults, who have been participating in at least one non-formal educational activity in the last twelve months, depending on the age cohort they belong to. Based on relevant educational literature, the first three chapters cover a description of a didactic process and its key areas, material and non-material didactic means, which are further divided into particular elements. In the fourth chapter, there is a definition of the age cohorts and a description of their specifics both in general and in the field of didactics. The fifth chapter is dedicated to a preparation and a realisation of the quantitative questionnaire survey at those members of age cohorts, who have been participating in at least one non-formal educational activity in the last twelve months. Based on these findings, the differences in preferences in key elements of the didactic process at the age cohorts are stated. The thesis is specialized in the creation of teaching aids for preschool and early school age children. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is characterized by psychological human development with an emphasis on the development of preschool and early school age children. The thesis is focused on the life and work of reform pedagogue Maria Montessori. The theoretical part is discussed about learning, the use of educational games and educational aids. In educational process is very important a teacher. The practical part consists of teaching aids - the alphabet, numbers, and developing a sense of small tasks which are normally used in dressing up.
School preparation of children from pre-school alternative type (Mary Montessori)

The Thesis is centered on comparing school preparation of children from classic day-care center and the kinder garden of Montessori type. The theoretical part is dedicated to the character of Maria Montessori and her pedagogical principles and opinions. Further the thesis describes didactic tools, which are used during Montessori lessons. The practical part is focused on comparing preparation of children from classical and Montessori day-care in the matter of school attendance. There are exploited the lesson´s materials and tools, which are used by children. Another indicator should be structured discussions, questionnaires and the pedagogues opinions.
