Cleft patient and oral health
Hanáčková, Jitka ; Gojišová, Eva (advisor)
Inborn defects also include cleft palate and lip. They occur relatively often. In Czech Republic 1 out of 520 born children will suffer from certain type of cleft disorder. They are due to internal and external causes and their combinations. The exact cause of these defects is still unknown. They are probably due to increased susceptibility (genetical predisposition} to various factors resposible for the cleft defects. Nowadays, with high specialties in medical field, plastic surgeon cannot alone succesfully treat defect, which affects so many organs and functions. It is needed to have a coorporation with specialists from other medical fields such as pediatrician, phoniatric specialist, speech therapist, stomatologist, ortodentist, genetic counseler and psychologist. Plastic surgeon carries out series of operations to close the defect, corrects deformities in surrounding tissue and can in coorporation with odontonist help to correct jaw deformities in adulthood. THIS GROUP OF PATIENTS needs more frequent check-ups and more vigorous care from stomatologists than healthy population- at least once in two months. Than the state of each tooth, their erruption and condition of the soft tissue is examined. Number of children with this condition is not small. Due to communication betwen nasal and oral cavity,...

The size and surface charge of oligoester nanoparticles in the course of their fabrication
Bolek, David ; Dittrich, Milan (advisor) ; Šnejdrová, Eva (referee)
1 Summary In the thesis are in details described various methods of pharmaceutical nanoparticles preparation, their surface properties and incorporated drug release. Some relevant data concerning prospective use of nanosystems in pharmacotherapy are presented. The main orientation of the thesis is towards experimental laboratory working. Experiments are supported by the use of Nanosizer and Zetasizer device. Nanoparticles with the size under 200 nm from various oligoesters with the linear and branched constitution of carrier molecules were fabricated. The aim of the thesis was focused on stability of size and surface charge parameters during their storage under different thermal conditions and under static and dynamic state of hydrophilic external phase after preparation process. Liquid systems containing freshly prepared nanoparticles were spray dried with the mannitol used as additive. The processes including range of stress factors, such as mannitol as osmotic agent dissolution, spray drying operation, and nanoparticles contained in microparticles in aqueous medium dispersion were evaluated from the point of view of size and zeta potential parameters. It was concluded from the experimental results that method based on spray drying of nanoparticular systems and incorporation of nanoparticles into the...

Supervision of employees contra management of the organization. Chance for cooperation or thread to autonomy?
Vopatová, Ladislava ; Hradcová, Dana (advisor) ; Havrdová, Zuzana (referee)
This master work deals with a situation, that happens during innovating external team supervision into the Czech social settlement. During the last ten years two different worlds have met there. The managerial one which focuses mainly on control and the supervisory one, which focuses on the reflection of working condition of the supervisors. The supervisors and the managers have still been meeting each other in relatively new situation with unknown demands and they often do not cope with them. The aim of this master work is to create an information material which offers both sides the needed information that is important not only for understanding each other, but also for easier cooperation. Besides this, there is also given a draft of a way how to start the supervision, how to control it and how to acquire the best of it during fulfilling their manager goals.

Procedures of external auditor during verifying final accounts practically
Vodičková, Monika ; Roubíčková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Vomáčková, Hana (referee)
This diploma paper is amed on the area of external audit and it's purpose is to present audit profession from theoretical and practical side. The paper is divided into three parts, where the first two parts introduce theoretical background, historical development of audit profession, relation of external and internal audit and the most important legal rules and regulations, which concern the area of audit. Besides this basic information is also mentioned the new bill about auditors, which has to implement European Commission Directive, considerating compulsory audit of final account, into Czech system of law. The third part is practical, and shows how audit works on particular contract.

Návrh rámce pro monitoring sociálních médií a klíčových ukazatelů výkonnosti pro společnost působící na trhu vlasové kosmetiky
Maurer, Julia Elisabeth ; Král, Petr (advisor) ; Roscher, Katharina (referee)
This work reviews the current literature and application methods of strategic KPI frameworks, KPI definition and measurement, target setting and benchmarking for social networks based on journals, books and whitepapers while including an interview with a social media agency. In a second step, the acquired knowledge is applied on a case study for a salon haircare company. The conclusions are based on in-company experts in the field, external social media agencies and an internal survey. Based on a behavioral survey, the requirements and gaps in the organization are identified. This leads to the application of a theoretical framework on the case company and a suitable definition of KPIs. The final delivery includes an analytical tool measuring all KPIs. Finally, all KPIs are related to targets and benchmarks from industry, social network sites, competitors and historical data. The final results are easily transferrable to other players in the industry.

Study of Substructural Changes of Ultra-Fine Grained Mg-Alloys during Cyclic Loading and Thermal Exposition
Štěpánek, Roman ; Jan, Vít (referee) ; Hutař, Pavel (referee) ; Pantělejev, Libor (advisor)
This thesis deals with complex analysis of fine-grained magnesium alloy AZ91 prepared by ECAP process. Mechanical properties of investigated alloy in different states at various external conditions are compared. The structure of this material is inherently unstable therefore changes on microstructural and sub-microstructural level occur during thermal exposure and/or mechanical loading. These changes are analysed and quantified for investigated alloy in selected states in this thesis.

Plasma Spraying with Water Stabilized Torch
Brad Breadsley, M. ; Chráska, Pavel
Thermal spray technology applications have increased rapidly in recent years. The reason is the larger acceptance of this technology by desingers and producers on one side, and development of new, specialized thermal spray equipment, tailored new applications, on the other side.

Zařízení pro měření tepelné emisivity při nízkých teplotách
Králík, Tomáš ; Hanzelka, Pavel ; Musilová, Věra ; Srnka, Aleš
In the described device, the thermal emissivity or absorptivity of the sample is measured by substitution of the radiative heat flow between two parallel surfaces by thermal output of a heater. Fast measurements of the mutual emissivity for the range of the temperature of the radiating surface 25 K - 150 K are possible. The absorbing surface has a temperature between 5 K and 10 K when LHe is used as cryoliquid. The desired measurement sensitivity is 1 mK for temperature and 0.1 mikroW for heat power, respectively. The diameter of the whole device is 50 mm and so it is possible to use a commercial Dewar can for the cooling. The form of the sample is a circular plate 40 mm in diameter and 1 mm in thickness with one tested side. The emissivity and its temperature dependence for various surface treatments can be checked immediately before application in a cryogenic system

Manufacturing of Solar Absorber by Unconventional Methods
Mrňa, Libor ; Lidmila, Z. ; Podaný, K. ; Forejt, M. ; Kubíček, J.
Solar absorbers of flat type have the advantage of relatively simple production, but on the other hand, they have lower thermal efficiency and require perpendicular incidence of solar radiation on their surface. This contribution presents new type of solar absorbers where the above-mentioned disadvantages are reduced while keeping relative production simplicity. The solar absorber is characterized by the creation of the appropriate spatial structure in sheet metal by forming through a technology of drawing in flexible tools. This spatial structure not only increases the heat-transfer surface but also eliminates the need for perpendicular incidence of the incoming solar radiation. The component with this structure is fixed to the rear side of the absorber by laser welding. Inlet holes for the fluid are produced by Flow drill method.
