Characteristics of Tourism in San Francisco de Sales, Colombia (a doctoral thesis summary) The country areas of Departamento Cundinamarca, which creates the background of the nine-million-inhabitant capital city of Bogotá and thus represents the most important Colombian region, have shown a significantly decreasing production and effectiveness of both primary and secondary economic sector since the second half of the 20th century. Consequently, since the end of 1990s, an economic alternative has been sought in various regions of Colombia. Ecotourism, which has been found as a reasonable solution, appears to be a suitable economic alternative also for the town of San Francisco de Sales. Active tourism in Colombia, i.e. tourists coming to the country, has decreased recently as a result of the problematic situation of the country. However, despite the economic crisis, domestic tourism remains the moving force of development on both local and regional levels in many areas. This research does not include one of the significant phenomena of the Cundinamarca region countryside, i.e. "the second home". The main purpose of this research is to identify and characterise tourism developing in the town of San Francisco. Myofascial Trigger point and Two point discrimination changes in MTrP region

The main purpose of this thesis, called The local changes in discriminatory sensation above a myofascial Trigger Point, was to assess the relationship of a local nociception in the form of the myofascial Trigger Point to the local discriminatory sensation. Based on the theoretical information, hypothesis concerning the relationship of MTrP and two point discrimination were experimentally checked. The subject of the research was the trigger point trapezius pars ascendens. Localized MTrP was clinically evaluated in terms of both static and dynamic factors. Using a palpometer, its sensitivity by level of pressure generated pain (pressure generated pain threshold) was rated. The quality of two-point discrimination was rated as well. Furthermore it was also rated how a made isometric relaxation changed the sensitivity as nociceptive so discriminatory. Discriminatory sensation (attention threshold (AT-TPD), stable threshold (SSV-TPD)) in the region above the trigger point was measured by a mechanical caliper with modified tips radius of 1mm. Generally 23 probands were examined, 11 of them had simultaneously diagnosed a presence of the constitutional hypermobility. Občanské fórum in Slaný

The object of this study is the creation, activity and termination of Občanské fórum (OF) in the central Bohemia city Slaný. The OF in Slaný was established after the general strike on 27th November 1989 at home of one of the founders. Other OF were created spontaneously in the workplace and in schools and gradually merged into the urban OF. In the early days the dialogue was the priority, members of OF Slaný called for discussion by their deputies in the local national committee. The main objective is to clarify the activities of OF and its influence on events in Slaný in November and the days following. Many different people with different interests, motivations and desires came and left the OF. And it influenced his future direction and impact on the political scene in Slaný. Without the establishment of the OF it would be more difficult to put pressure on city officials to allow access to the administration for the non-communist parties. The parties and movements have been isolated. The OF was able to unify the parties and joint efforts have produced results. The functions of the OF were primarily informational, coordination and control. Strategy that both parties (the Communist Party and Občanské fórum) chose was a compromise. Business plan – The establishment of a dental practice

The aim of this Master's thesis is to process a business plan for dental clinic Easydent s.r.o., which decided to expand and set up a new dental practice in the city centre. The theoretical part presents the business plan in general terms, with a particular focus on the definition, the reasons for its formulation and the form and structure of this document. Moreover, this part also includes the criteria of the investment decision-making and static as well as dynamic methods of the investment evaluation. Afterwards, the specifics of doing business in healthcare are presented with special emphasis on dental medicine and the differences from other businesses. The practical part presents the business plan for setting up the new dental practise especially with focus on economic aspects of the project as well as on general feasibility. To conclude, I found that the investment according to the net present value is profitable and I recommend setting up a new dental practice in the city centre.

Preferences of people for housing in suburbs

This thesis examines people's preferences for housing, specifically for housing in suburbs. Suburbs have negative economic, environmental and social consequences and most cities in developed countries is facing the growth of suburbs. The aim of the thesis was to examine the reasons why people move to satellite villages and how they change their preferences. People's preferences were tested by questionnaire survey conducted in Jesenice u Prahy. Residents are moving to this locality because they want to live in a house with a garden, in a quiet and clean environment. The opinion that people are moving to suburbs due to social status and prestige was not confirmed.

Analysis of selected restaurants from nutrition point of view

The aim of the thesis is to analyze supply and demand for healthy food in restaurants of two Czech cities, Praha and Ostrava. In the thesis there are defined basic terms related to food establishment and healthy food as a part of healthy lifestyle. There is introduced Czech gastronomy and its history. Diploma thesis also refers to typical Czech habits and frequent eating mistakes from healthy nutrition point of view. The research is focused on analysis of selected Czech restaurants' offer. There is included an interview with nutritional consultant and a survey, which is concentrated on demand for healthy food in Czech restaurants. Last chapter is devoted to final overview of the issue as well as to the suggestions for improvements.
