Presumptions for the tourism development in Austria

The bachelor thesis is about the presumptions for the tourism development in Austria. The presumptions are generally characterized in the first part, the second part of the thesis describes Austria, its tourism and the current development of the tourism in Austria. The second part also describes the cultural and natural attractions in Austria; the cultural attractions comprise castles, museums, monasteries, churches etc., the natural attractions describe the Austrian Alps, protected areas, natural parks, lakes etc.
Austria’s FDI

This diploma thesis focuses on Austrian foreign direct investments and more specifically on the internalization of Austrian companies into the Czech Republic. The aim is to thoroughly display the Austria's outward foreign direct investments, introduce the internationalization models and apply them in an analysis of Austrian companies present in the Czech Republic. The first step towards answering research questions is the presentation of a short theoretical background on foreign direct investment. Further, the main characteristics of Austrian investments are stated. Chapter two starts with term definitions. Thereby, a common under-standing of the most relevant terms is established. The thorough literature review illuminates the theories behind each model and its development. In the following step, the practical part of the paper is introduced. At first, assumptions from the internationalization models are derived. Afterwards, these assumptions serve as a foundation for the questionnaire's framework. The primary part of this chapter displays results of the empirical study. Finally, a conclusion is presented summing up the thesis's core findings. These findings are primarily direct answers to the research questions seeking to fulfill the main objective of the diploma thesis.
Pro-export policy of Czech Republic in comparison with other EU-countries

Diploma paper deals with the comparison of pro-export policy in Czech Republic, Great Britain and Austria. The work describes the system of state promotion of exporting companies in monitored economies and focuses on the activities of particular institutions, which provide financial and non-financial support. In conclusion, the comparison of pro export policies in these countries is carried out in various points of view -- institutional framework, offered projects in the sphere of information, consultancy and education services and financial support.

The first part deals with the country characteristics, economy and tourism. The second part analyses culture heritage UNESCO in Austria. It describes Austrian cultural monuments, it presents statistics about tourism in regions and it deals with tourism development.

Comparison of the enterpreneurship in the Czech Republic and Austria

This work is concerned with the comparison of the entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and in Austria from the legal point of view. The first two chapters deal with the possibilities of carrying out business as a sole trader and the possibilities of establishing various kinds of companies, that may be established according to Czech and Austrian law. The whole work is mainly focused on legal entities. Private bodies are just mentioned in the first two chapters. The following chapters are concerned with the mostly used forms of companies (legal entities) with regard to the rights and duties of the founders and partners participating in a company. Each part is separately concerned with founding or establishing companies and with the rights of the founders respectively of the owners of each legal form of companies. In particular cases, where the companies have to establish bodies, e. g. the board of directors, the tasks and rights of these bodies are mentioned. Last but not least the practice use of the different legal forms of companies is compared. Enclosures shall depict the great variety of possibilities of carrying out business or establishing companies according to Austrian law and show the main differences between the legal entities.
Comparison of German and Austrian Asylum Policy

This thesis deals with the development of Austrian and German asylum policy from the end of the Second World War until these days. It tries to compare these two policies. It points out that the development in Germany was very specific because of its nazi history. This paper also focuses on the common legislature of the European Union which hugely affects the domestic law of ist members.

Austria, a small Central European economy belongs to the winners of globalization. Its involvement in world's international trade has been remarkable and is generally seen as one of the crucial factors of its GDP growth. Austrian exporters have become an example of efficiency for all the other in-county industries, as well as a proud of leading politicians. The Austrian Chamber of Commerce is self-managed and led by its members, not only big, but in over 90 %, small and medium size enterprises. Internationalization and the support of barrier free international trade belong among its most important goals. Therefore the Chamber of Commerce founded its International Trade Branch, which has a network of 108 offices worldwide and aims to be the world's biggest organization of a kind. This network supports Austrian entrepreneurs in developing their international business activities.
Bodies of a joint-stock company

The thesis presents a comparison of the legal provisions of the Czech Republic and Austria in terms of the internal structure of a joint-stock company. It focuses on the powers of individual bodies, their members, meetings and relationsships. Furthermore a discussion of the relationsship between the company and a member of its Board of directors, including his liability for damages, is presented.
