Práce nejprve teoreticky vymezuje jednotlivé předpoklady cestovního ruchu, stejně jako typy cestovního ruchu; dále obsahuje základní informace o Rakousku, o cestovním ruchu v Rakousku a aktuální trendy v jeho vývoji v této zemi. Druhá, praktická, část práce se zaměřuje na lokalizační předpoklady Rakouska, tedy na kulturní a přírodní atraktivity, které Rakousko návštěvníkům nabízí. Kulturní atraktivity jsou analyzovány v souvislosti s jednotlivými spolkovými zeměmi Rakouska. Přírodní atraktivity jsou charakterizovány skrze Alpy, národní parky, jezera, chráněné krajinné oblasti atd. The bachelor thesis is about the presumptions for the tourism development in Austria. The presumptions are generally characterized in the first part, the second part of the thesis describes Austria, its tourism and the current development of the tourism in Austria. The second part also describes the cultural and natural attractions in Austria; the cultural attractions comprise castles, museums, monasteries, churches etc., the natural attractions describe the Austrian Alps, protected areas, natural parks, lakes etc.
