Moral behaviour of half-way house clients

Multilocus phylogeny of Sciurini tree squirrels
Pečnerová, P. ; Martínková, Natália
Phylogenetic relationships inside the tribe Sciurini produce conflict between older morphological research and modern molecular studies. We provided a detailed phylogenetic analysis by incorporating eight loci and various methods of data processing. We used prevailing and user-friendly software packages (Geneious, BioEdit, MrBayes, ModelTest). Evolutionary history of Sciurini squirrels was examined by means of Bayesian inference of concatenated data set and six supertree construction methods. The concatenated data and supertrees generated by SuperTriplets, modified MinCut, standard MRP and veto supertree (without source tree correction) yielded similar results with taxa grouped according to their zoogeographic distribution. The genus Tamiasciurus formed a separate evolutionary lineage at the base of our trees and the other taxa gradually diverged into Palaearctic/Indomalayan, Nearctic and Neotropical groups. The other used methods, MinCut, Purvis-MRP and veto (with source tree correction) showed deviations from this pattern.

The thesis should mainly serve professional DJ's, everyone who is interested in digital audio, digital audio effects or development of software which works with an audio signal. Thesis is completed with all figures. I used the following software to create them: Matlab2007a, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Microsoft Word.

Modelově orientované řízení versus klasické řízení pro paralelní roboty
Belda, Květoslav
Earthly civilization is a complex system based on amount of different relationships. Always, there are some actions that cause some reactions. It happens on different levels. In general, a system can be analyzed from outside as one object with homogeneous properties - global level. The opposite way is analysis from inside - local level. This paper outlines the ideas and solutions obtained during design of the control for specific parallel robots. It is demonstrated by comparative simulation od PSD and GPC.

Timpani technique by Fred D. Hinger
Zhdanovich, Anton ; MIKOLÁŠEK, Daniel (advisor) ; Holub, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on contemporary problems of primarily orchestral timpani playing. In this thesis, I tried to explain, why a timpani player is often unable to reach the desired quality of sound and tone of the instrument, which make it impossible to reach the right musical character in the context of that particular musical piece. The goal of this work is to enrich the Czech school of timpani playing and to contribute to the growth of interpretation abilities of beginning and intermediate timpani players. Another goal is to show a different tradition of kettledrum playing with all its details. I focused on the practical side of the instrument playing and I describe the methods and the process of solving technical and musical problems of interpreters in this paper. The character of this thesis is completely practical and focuses on the description of one of the many other world traditions of timpani playing.

Porovnání magnetického pole vně a uvnitř trolejbusu 21 Tr řízeného GTO nebo IGCT tyristorem
Nečesaný, Jakub ; Doležel, Ivo
This work is focused on the magnetic field modelling and analysis inside the trolley bus 21TR. Mathematical description is presented. Computation is carried out for accelerating regime for application of two different power switching semiconductor devices GTO and IGCT. Study of the magnetic field is done for head level of standing and sitting people. Local maximum of the magnetic field is also determined. Differences between magnetic field levels given by GTO and IGCT power switching semiconductor devices are consecrated. Finally, geometrical convergence of this problem is evaluated

Metodika navrhování řasových fotobioreaktorů: matematické modelování hydrodynamického míchání a předpověď parametrů světelného režimu
Papáček, Š. ; Rálek, P. ; Kopecký, Jiří ; Masojídek, Jiří ; Štys, Dalibor ; Petera, K.
Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and process simulation are important tools for the design and optimisation of biochemical processes. In this contribution, the photobioreactor design methodology based on CFD is proposed. A widely used CFD package (Fluent 6.1, by Fluent Inc.) performs a numerical approximation of microalgae trajectory (pathline) inside tubular photobioreactor. Consequently, prediction of the level of hydrodynamic mixing and corresponding light regime inside the photobioreactor with effective use of strong light by high-density algal culture is possible. In the first approach, the algal suspension is considered as a single-phase incompressible viscous Newtonian fluid, which fills the whole section of the photobioreactor photic zone. Coupling the cell trajectories with the corresponding light conditions, the light histories of single cells are obtained. These records contain complete information about light regime in photobioreactor. Computer simulations for various photobioreactor design parameters and operating conditions allow to establish the quantitative relation between variables representing design and operating parameters and light regime parameters. Thus the problem of optimal PBR design could be resolved.

Web Design Characteristics - Online Shops Layout Analysis in Czech Republic
Novák, Ondřej ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
The importance of information still grows at the present time of information age. Besides, the internet is bottomless source of information and also infinite communication channel it is powerful tool to make a profit too. Many people appreciate its potential and many of them even established a business on internet or expanded their services to this dimension. The result was rapid growth of competition in e-commerce area. Companies try to catch their customers all possible ways. That's why there is tendency in webdesign focusing on user's needs and comfort. This work deals one of the main parts of webdesign. Namely layout and component position on the website. Work contains theoretical part -- characteristic of layout and practical part -- analyses layout of e-shops in Czech Republic.

Unlawful use of a copyrighted work (and the author's fee).
Sýkorová, Barbora ; Žikovská, Petra (referee) ; Wünschová Pujmanová, Alexandra (advisor)
Unlawful Use of Copyrighted Work (and the Author's Fee) This graduation thesis is devoted to the issue of unlawful use of copyrighted work and to the author's fee. Currently the issue of unlawful use of copyrighted work as well as legal protection of that work is becoming much more interesting than approximately twenty / thirty years ago. This situation is caused by three main circumstances - the growth of piracy (copyrighted works like books, films, sound recordings, computer programmes and so on are widely used now, and in some states it is even very important business), the advent of satellite communication (increasingly entertainment and information services are more available) and the advent of the Internet (because of the worldwide linking of the millions of computers it is very easy to access to, copy and distribute copyrighted works). Thanks to that development the current society is going to resolve the question whether it is possible to maintain the established protection and the sources of renumeration for rightowners, or whether copyright will be engulfed in the ever-increasing electronic use of protected material. Having in mind this question the goal of this thesis is to map the system of possible legal means of protection against the unlawful use of copyrighted works in the Czech...

Financing of research and development in the Czech Republic through foreign venture capital
Werner, Andrej ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Černá, Iveta (referee)
This thesis maps factors, that are barrier to more significant cooperation between Czech universities and foreign venture capital funds. On one hand I examine the processes inside of venture capital fund, on the other hand I study the ways, in which is science supported in the Czech Republic, how centres for technology transfers are functioning and how motivated are scientists to patent their findings and start their own business. The result is evaluation of the factors that influence the decision on the investor, who is contemplating investment either in the Czech Republic or USA.
