Název práce: Psychosomatické souvislosti pacientů s roztroušenou sklerózou mozkonúšní (vliv rehabilitace na neurofyziologickém podkladě na aktuální psychický stav). Psychosomatic connections of patiens with Multiple Sclerosis (influence of rehabilitation on neurophysical base on current mental condition).

Relation of standard and substandard Czech in the newspaper writing style of a sports interview
Ouředník, Jan ; Kvapilová Brabcová, Radoslava (advisor) ; Vybíral, Petr (referee)
The aim of this work has been to prove the presence of non-literary (substandard Czech) phenomena in the newspaper writing style of a sports interview. Furthermore, it has been to inform the readers about what is characteristic for this genre and what are the specifics of interviews with Lukáš Pollert. Last but not least, I considered it important to explain the term substandard Czech, mention its most typical elements and how it has developed during several decades. I have reached the conclusion that the texts of the interviews vary greatly with respect to the language, even though I have completely disregarded their lexical aspect. Regarding the standard and substandard phonetic and morphological level, it seems that authors have the idea that some forms of substandard Czech are also an equal part of the written style, which should basically correspond to the rules of standard language, as their standard counterparts. And their informality, casualness and spontaneity consist just in this fact. However, this should not present an inconvenience to a consistent usage of only standard, and now even considered as literary, forms in some cases. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Karel Hlaváček, member of Sokol and dekadent
S pomocí vodítek zanechaných ve tvorbě a s pomocí určitých biografických údajů budeme sledovat postupný vývoj básnické metody a myšlenkový posun.

The Semiotics of Han Tombs
Laštovková, Andrea ; Šafaříková, Radana (advisor) ; Nešpor, Zdeněk (referee)
The master thesis called "Semiotics Han Tombs" does not only deal with the semiotics view of space of Han dynasty tombs, when we are examining the number of structures, which are permeating Han graves, we find structures of the world of man living in China, but this process also points to problems of culture interpretation which cultural semiotics helps to eliminate. Problems associated with the sign plays an important role in shaping the very cultural and social identity. The issue of understanding and interpretation of cultures occurs at the time when we select certain features or characters from the structure of a culture to freely create a system without having analyzed the real culture. Always all these elements must be considered in the context of the overall system or structure, or we only deal with empty concepts or definitions. In other words, we do not see the whole picture. Han tomb as a text is polysemous and in many respects incomprehensible. However, the creation, reading and semiosis takes place in it and it is the statement of understanding of this world. So revealing the speaker's worldview depends on the process of interpretation, because the statement may involve a degree of ideological connotations which determined the interpretation independently on the previous coding. Evolution of host specifity in cuckoo bees of the genus Sphecodes (Hymenoptera)
Habermannová, Jana ; Straka, Jakub (advisor) ; Kratochvíl, Lukáš (referee)
Cuckoo bees behave similarly to the well-known birds, cuckoos - they lay eggs in the nests of other bees. Proposed thesis charts the evolution of host specialization within the strictly cuckoo genus Sphecodes. According to the classical view based on the Red Queen hypothesis, parasites should gradually specialize during evolution to keep pace in the "arms race" with their hosts. Specialization is also perceived as an evolutionary dead end - narrow adaptation prevents change of host. To test these hypotheses phylogeny of tribus Sphecodini based on the partial sequences of five genes was constructed. For each ancestor has been by two methods of mapping ancestral characters (Bayesian method, Maximum Parsimony) specified, whether it was specialist or generalist and which kind of host or hosts it had. The results show that the original strategy of genus Sphecodes is specialization and generalists originated from specialized ancestors only recently. The results also show that the jumps between the hosts are common. These findings are inconsistent with the Red Queen hypothesis as well as with the view that specialization is an evolutionary dead end. Falsity of these hypotheses within the genus Sphecodes established also likelihood ratio test, in which the likelihood of model allowing two-way transition...

Silverlight technology
Kouba, Petr ; Morský, Ondřej (referee) ; Uchytil, Stanislav (advisor)

Bukraba, Maria ; Matuchová, Klára (advisor) ; Bojarová, Marie (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to prove that words from Southeast Asian varieties of English which were included in Oxford English Dictionary bear a unique meaning and thus are indispensable. Theoretical part depicts a classification of Englishes by Braj Kachru and later explores historical and socio-political aspects of English in countries where it is spoken by a large part of population such as Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Hong Kong which technically belongs to East Asia, but for the linguistic purposes it is included in the list. The practical part examines lists of words included in Oxford English dictionary from the mentioned varieties of English with the aid of local context such as magazines, blogs, newspapers and other unofficial sources. On the basis of the results of this research, it can be concluded that words from Southeast Asian varieties of English are irreplaceable due to their distinctive meaning.

Discussion on exchange-rate regimes: Hayek versus Friedman
Hájek, Jan ; Potužák, Pavel (advisor) ; Slaný, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis follows up approaches of F. A. von Hayek and Milton Friedman on international monetary arrangements. Analytical part contains research of work of both authors. In Hayek's work, the theory of income chain flows is highlighted first and second, synchronization of growth of export sectors and fall of import sectors across the whole national economy during depreciation is stressed in the flexible exchange rate regime. From Friedman's work those parts are chosen which are consistent with Hayek's theory. Primarily, differences between effects of speculation demand for foreign currency are mentioned. In the synthesis of both approaches, three international monetary systems are defined (international real gold standard, pseudo-gold standard and clear floating). The aim is to choose a system, which is the best for creation of wealth, therefore the one, where prices do not lose their information value. The thesis shows that the system with international real gold standard is the most suitable. Furthermore, the hypothesis that says, that approaches of both authors are compatible, is refused. The last chapter deals with the international monetary perspective of the Czech Republic.

Counterfeiting and altering of money
Barák, Michal ; Gřivna, Tomáš (advisor) ; Herczeg, Jiří (referee)
in English This thesis deals with the issue of counterfeiting, in terms of both criminal and criminological perspective. Its opening is devoted to the money, especially to their historical development. The following chapter, number three, continuously moves to the description of the most widely used security features of money, especially of banknotes. Although these security features are not the subject of my thesis, this part can look quite dominant. However, I am convinced that the technical protection of money plays the pivotal role it the whole issue, so I gave them enough space at the beginning of work. The following section deals with the valid legislation and focuses primarily on the enumeration and analysis of the actus reaus under the Criminal Code. In my opinion, the focus only on criminal legislation is inadequate, and therefore I consider it is necessary to mention also other legislation which is significantly related, ie Act No. 136/2011 Coll., on the circulation of banknotes and coins and amending Act No. 6/ 1993 Coll. on the Czech National Bank, as amended, which contains mainly the Czech National Bank's role in the issues mentioned above and responsibilities of defined group of persons handling the money suspected of counterfeiting. The procedure of the Police of the Czech Republic...
