Numerical modelling of the glass shaping forms cooling
Havelková, Martina ; Schovánek, Petr
The purpose of heat treatment of semi finished glass pieces in shaping forms is not only to fit their shape but also to reduce internal stresses. Thermal differences are unwanted and have to be eliminated in the cooling procedure of the glass pieces. Simulations of different types and sizes of shaping forms and complex model cooling were accomplished. The aim of these simulations was to optimise geometrical parameters, clamping conditions and material of the form, so that thermal differences at glass or glass – form interface are minimized during the cooling.

Pecvd method in this contribution we deal with the preparation of thin layers of ZnO, which exhibit interesting photo-sensitive properties. ZnO functional layers were prepared by surfatron by a PECVD method.

Fotoluminiscence erbiem dopovaných krystalů KTaO.sub.3./sub..
Potůček, Zdeněk ; Bryknar, Z. ; Trepakov, Vladimír
Photoluminescence emission spectra of KTaO3:Er crystals was studied within the wide temperature (12 – 300 K) and spectral (300 – 1200 nm) regions in order to reveal luminescence centers related to Er ions and to elucidate their optical properties. Under excitation with band-gap light at low temperatures, the KTaO3:Er crystals shoved a broad asymmetric emission band peaking near 490 nm at 12 K that belongs to well-known “green” photoluminescence of KTaO3 crystals. Erbium doping was accompanied by appearance of narrow structured emission bands in the vicinity of 550, 660, and 850 nm that were attributed to radiative transitions within Er3+ ions with 4f11 electron configuration.

Depozice tenkých vrstev Ba.sub.x./sub.Sr.sub.1-x./sub.TiO.sub.3./sub. pomocí dvoutryskového RF plazmatického systému s efektem duté katody

Low-pressure plasma jet system with two hollow cathodes was used for deposition of BaxSr1-xTiO3 (BSTO) ferroelectric thin films. High density pulse modulated RF hollow cathode discharge was generated in ceramic nozzles made of SrTiO3 and BaTiO3. In the experiment, the composition of BSTO films was controlled by magnitude of average RF power applied on particular plasma jet guns. X-ray diffraction proved that BSTO thin films were polycrystalline with perovskite structure. Time resolved Langmuir probe system and plasma impedance monitor were used for ´in situ´ plasma diagnostics and control of deposition conditions.
