The above thesis topic I chose for two reasons. The first reason was that I had as a secondary specialization in Business Valuation chosen course of study in this specialization. I met with the subject in Practical Business Valuation. In this course, I participated in valuation process Consumer Unity in Jindrichuv Hradec. Because at my residence located Consumer Unity in Nymburk, whose stores I visit from time to time, I wonder if it is appropriate to evaluate the company using the income approach (or under what conditions) and what is the value of the company. Therefore, the objective of this thesis I have provided to determine the market value of unity, consumer cooperative in Nymburk. The second reason why I chose the topic of "valuation" as a whole is the fact that my favorite literary genres include detective novels. With a little imagination it can be said that the search for business value is similar or even identical to the above literary genre. When first we see business, we know about him very little, but we suspect that it certainly has some value. In the case of murder, we see the body, but do not know the offender. Over time composing pieces together and connect us with each connection, and finally ideally we will see a clear picture and find out who is the perpetrator, even if the culprit was the victim. If we are looking for enterprise value, this is a similar case. Gradually, as we proceed through financial, strategic analysis, the value of generators, the financial plan to the final valuation, we find that the company is healthy, if it is a competitive, what is the prognosis for the future, when we are at the end of the quest unable to determine its value. Proper "thriller" should consist of five components. From the introduction plot, climax, and denouement of the conclusion. Therefore, the thesis is divided into five parts. The first part consists of basic information about the company, where he briefly introduce the valuated company. Followed by a financial analysis that tells us what threats or vice versa opportunities deriving from the financial statements of the company and answer the question of whether the company is financially able to continue to operate. Another part of the work is strategic analysis to assess the position on a particular market and answers the question of how they will develop sales and market share of the business in the future. Subsequently generators predict values and use them to create a financial plan that will serve as an important basis for the final valuation Unity, consumer cooperative in Nymburk. Three essays on public procurement

The core of thesis lays in quantitative analysis of microeconomic data on public procurement and alternative forms of dealing with public money. It consists of three essays with one common attribute: extensive groundwork with data, including overlaps into legal and technical disciplines. The fist essay examines the relationship between transparency of ownership structure and (i) profits of firms winning public procurement contracts and (ii) competition for the contracts and savings of the public authority. It identifies a significant advantage of firms with opaque ownership structure in terms of access to public money. It concludes with a possible explanation of conflict of interest and corruption, which might channel such advantages. The second essay proposes and tests a novel methodology for benchmarking of contracting authorities. The proposed rating measures a deviation from best practice recommendations in the areas of openness, competition and transparency. Indirectly it measures efficiency and corruption potential in public procurement. The pilot results of the methodology are provided and extensively discussed for a group of Czech municipalities. Zkoumá jaké dopady bude mít reforma na spotřebitele a výrobce a jakým směrem bude orientován trh s vínem v Evropské unii a v České republice. V diplomové práci je popsána současná situace vinařství v Evropské unii a v České republice. Podrobněji je popsána navrhovaná reforma společné organizace trhu s vínem a postavení České republiky a jiných států Evropské unie k navrhované reformě.

Kulturní a historické determinanty politiky států Latinské Ameriky

Tato práce zkoumá vliv kulturních a historických faktorů na současnou zahraničně - politickou situaci ve státech Latinské Ameriky. Jejím cílem je dosáhnout zjištění, jakým způsobem právě kulturní a historické faktory, prvky a fenomény ovlivňují současnou politickou situaci v tomto regionu tím, že působí na společenský vývoj. Práce vychází z výzkumu Geerta Hofstedeho, jeho kulturních dimenzí a indexů, jejichž důsledky se snaží interpretovat a zijšťuje, jak se projevují ve společnosti a jaký mají dále vliv na politickou situaci v těchto konkrétních oblastech: (1) Vliv kultury na politickou situaci a postavení demokracie v zemích Latinské Ameriky s hlubším zaměřením na situaci ve Venezuele, (2)Vliv feminismu a postavení žen v politice Latinské Ameriky, (3)Vzájemné mezinárodně - politické vztahy Evropy a Latinské Ameriky, (4)Integrace v Latinské Americe a (5) Vztah Latinské Ameriky ke Spojeným státům americkým. Dochází k závěru, že byly zjištěny významné souvislosti mezi působením kulturních a historických determinantů na politickou situaci v zemích Latinské Ameriky.

Adoption of IFRS by entities in consumer products industry

The goal of the master's thesis is to prepare the opening statement of financial position according to the International Financial Reporting Standards. The theoretical part commences with the analysis of the current regulation of IFRS in the Czech Republic. Then follows the explanation of conditions and reasons for transition to IFRS. In the end of the theoretical part, the process of transition is explained as well as the application of IFRS 1. The practical part deals with the detail analysis of the individual line items of the statement of financial position according to the Czech GAAP. There also analyzed the relevant regulation of individual line items according to IFRS as well as performed adjustments required from the entity in order to transition to IFRS.

Concept of Childhood in Fyodor Sologub's prose

ТITLE The Concept of Childhood in Fyodor Sologub's prose ABSTRACT: This Master thesis deals with the topic of childhood in prose works of the Russian writer, novelist and teacher Fyodor Sologub. The research presents his biography, traces the development of his personality, as well as his perception of the world and interests. It focuses on the events, which determined the extent and significance of the chosen topic for Sologub. There are also revealed lesser known facts of his childhood that influenced his choice of the topics and its embodiment in his literary works. The writer's biography is complemented by the views of critics and contemporaries who studied his works and shaped public opinion. The main topics of the analysis are: dualistic vision of the world, children's death, faith in God, children's patriotism. The ideal world of children is presented in the novel The Created Legend. The thesis also reveals the popularity of the topic of childhood in other 19th and 20th century writers' oeuvre in comparative analysis with Sologub's work. It also depicts the importance of two literary movements - symbolism and decadence, their representative Sologub was. The questions raised by Sologub remain relevant to the present day. Microfinance: Grameen bank and poverty in Bangladesh

Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou mikrofinancí v rozvojovém světě. Cílem práce je zjistit, jakou hrají mikrofinance roli v dnešním světě, jakým vývojem prošly a zda jsou mikro finanční instituce z dlouhodobého hlediska udržitelné. Dále je otázka mikrofinancí aplikovaná na bangladéšskou Grameen banku, která je považována za průkopníka mikrokreditu ve světě. Budou zkoumány principy jejího fungování, kritéria pro poskytnutí půjček a hlavní důraz bude kladen na analýzu inovativního systému Grameen II. Poslední část práce pojednává o chudobě v Bangladéši a také zkoumá, jaký tam mají mikrofinance vliv na chudé lidi.

Fracture Behaviour of Steels and Their Welds for Power Industry

Práce byla zaměřena na ověření platnosti koncepce master křivky pro hodnocení heterogenních svarových spojů, resp. teplotně stárnutých svarů. Současně bylo cílem disertace vyvinout kvantitativní model pro predikci referenční teploty lokalizující tranzitní oblast na teplotní ose za použití dat získaných z tahové zkoušky, a to za použití metody umělých neuronových sítí. Studie je současně zaměřena na heterogenní svarový spoj připravený tavným svařováním. Je zacílena na hodnocení lomového chování v tranzitní oblasti nejméně odolné části svaru, tj. tepelně ovlivněné zóny ferritické oceli v blízkosti zóny natavení s vysokolegovaným materiálem. Pro predikci referenční teploty master křivky je použita zmíněná metoda neuronových sítí, a to za použití dat z tahových zkoušek a měření tvrdosti. Predikovaná referenční teplota byla ověřována na základě výsledku experimentálních měření. Vytvoření modelu za použití neuronových sítí vyžaduje dostatečné množství dat a není vždy snadno tuto podmínku splnit. V případě sledovaného problému to znamenalo použití dat z dostatečně věrohodných zdrojů (skupiny Křehký lom ÚFM AVČR) a se známou metalurgickou historií. Smysl práce je tak možno spatřovat ve vývoji modelu neuronové sítě, která bude dostatečně přesně predikovat referenční teplotu. Celkově byla pro tyto účely použita data z 29 nízkolegovaných ocelí. Pro účely vývoje byly použity kromě hladkých zkušebních tyčí, rovněž tahové zkoušky s obvodovým vrubem testované při kritické teplotě křehkosti (mez makroplastických deformací) a při teplotě pokojové. Při tvorbě modelu byla postupně v různých kombinacích využita všechna data z uvedených zkoušek. Studie ukázala, že referenční teplota charakterizující tranzitní chování lomové houževnatosti oceli s převažující feritickou strukturou je jedinečným parametrem predikovatelným na základě vybraných charakteristik tahových zkoušek.

Seeking community reconciliation through traditional practice. The Sierra Leonean experience

Sierra Leone was torn apart by a violent conflict that lasted for over a decade between 1991 and 2002. The deep physical and emotional scars it left on the people and their communities and the destruction of the country's socio-economic and institutional foundations are still visible today. But Sierra Leoneans have also shown an extraordinary ability to deal with the painful and violent past and to move on. This does not mean that the victims would be able to easily forget the suffering they endured or that the return and (re)integration of the ex-combatants into the society would always go smoothly and effortlessly. Yet, if you ask around in the villages across the country, people almost always answer the same: "We have reconciled". What do they mean by that? And how have they achieved it? These questions form the core puzzle of the present thesis. It explores the process of reconciliation and restoration of relationships at village level in Sierra Leone, with a particular focus on the role of local ceremonies. While its main concern is with the specific circumstances in Sierra Leone, it also aims to contribute to the debates in transitional justice and peacebuilding fields regarding the 'local' practices of reconciliation in African post-conflict societies.
