Influence of Loading Frequency on Fatigue Properties of Structural Materials
Kašpar, Jan ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis analyse the influence of loading frequency on the fatigue of the structural materials. Low frequency loading (to the 200 Hz) has nearly no influence on the fatigue properties in almost all cases. Hight frequency loading (1 and more kHz) has major influence on the fatigue limit of the structural materials. This interference will disply like increasing of the fatigue limit. For example fatigue limit of steel is more affected by hight frequency loading than the cast-iron. Important aspect at hight frequency loading is rising temperature in the loading process. Rising temperature has negative influence on the fatigue limit of materials. Important aspect of the loading high frequency is possibility to achieved gigacycle regime of the fatigue (109 and more cycles), where should appear crack from below surface. This crack is call „ fish eye".
Tiredness during studying and its overcoming (with a focus on the educational process in high school)
Trefná, Gabriela ; Pavera, Libor (advisor) ; Krpálková Krelová, Katarína (referee)

Hygiene habits of children of primary school age
DUNOVSKÁ, Klára
This thesis focuses on the physical and mental hygiene habits of younger school children. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with physical activity, effects of hypokinesia and mental hygiene specificity of this age group in the context of physical and psychosocial. The research evaluates the results of data from pedometers and the results of the survey, to which were used questionnaires "Time Picture of the Day"(Mužík, Bártová, 2010) and a questionnaire of daily regimen (Řehulka, 1987). This is a quantitative research. There were processed 104 questionnaires that were filled by children from 4th and 5th grades at selected elementary schools in Strakonice. The results show the differences in the amount of physical activity on school and weekend days, total amount of physical activity is satisfactory and further show the connection between a length of sleep and fatigability during the day.

In my work I focus on burnout in police officers, on it´s characteristic symptoms, possible causes and consequences of burnout, related or other negative phenomena, such as fatigue, stress, depression etc. It also discusses preventive procedures and manuals how to prevent burnout and how to manage it. At the same time I realize how much of police officers and what groups are at risk of burnout syndrome.
The Evaluation of physical demands associated with postal workers
SUCHANOVÁ, Markéta
Evaluation of physical burden on selected professions at the post office The current trend of working conditions tends to reduce the proportion of physically demanding work, but leads to an increased psychological stress in staff members. However, there are professions, such as those involved in postal services, that are still exposed to considerable physical burden. This thesis provides a basic view of health consequences of excessive physical load and manual handling of burdens, it describes specifics of the postman / postwoman profession, specifics in the staff members working in interior post services and those who work at postal counters in terms of physical burden. The objective of this thesis was to survey the physical burden connected with manual load handling at the post office in Jindrichuv Hradec. The thesis also aims at finding out rehabilitation possibilities for post office staff and proposing ways how to improve the current situation. A questionnaire enquiring about post office staff members´ awareness of musculoskeletal diseases prevention, evaluation of their own health condition and symptoms of fatique caused by physical activity, is a crucial component of my thesis. The results of the questionnaire survey were analyzed and reported in graphs and tables. Measurements of weight and cumulative weight of manually manipulated loads and the workers´ heart rate before and after the physical stress were carried out. I have found that postmen and postwomen and interior post services staff are exposed to great physical strain and frequent handling heavy loads, that in some cases exceed hygienic limits. It was also found that 65% of post office staff were not aware of the claim on financial contribution to rehabilitation massage. The hypotheses stated were confirmed. 1. Post office staff members are exposed to excessive physical strain while handling heavy load 2. The level of post office workers{\crq} knowledge on musculoskeletal disorders prevention is not sufficient. I suggest mechanization, use of mechanical devices and removal of architectural barriers to be introduced. Furthermore, I suggest to include training to handle loads in a correct way to prevent back disorders.
