The christology in the work of Joseph Ratzinger
Frývaldský, Pavel ; Pospíšil, Ctirad Václav (advisor) ; Mohelník, Tomáš (referee)
Anglická anotace The Christology in the work of Joseph Ratzinger Pavel Frývaldský This thesis presents an analysis of the significant Christological works of Joseph Ratzinger. The aim of this work is to find and examine the constant features and development of Ratzinger's Christological reflection. The comparative analysis of his work was done from two points of view: the work of Ratzinger during his academic engagement and the work of Ratzinger as Cardinal and head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. In a diachronic analysis we examine biblical sources, quotations of Fathers, medieval authors and present-day theologians. In the diachronic analysis we research these areas of interest: Christological titles, the theology of incarnation, the mystery of Jesus' life, the theology of the cross and the interpretation of resurrection. From the analysis of the Christological titles we learned, which titles Ratzinger considers to be important, how he comprehends them and how he elaborates on the question of origination. In the analysis of theology of incarnation we can see an expression of the relation between incarnation and the cross, Christ centrism, reflection of the hypostatic union. The examination of the mystery of the life of Jesus explains the conception of the pre-paschal Jesus. The analysis...

Relationship between Structure and Biological Activity of new Modulators of Acetylcholinesterase
Komlóová, Markéta ; Doležal, Martin (advisor) ; Kuneš, Jiří (referee) ; Jampílek, Josef (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department: Dpt. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control Student: Mgr. Markéta Komlóová Supervisor: prof. PharmDr. Martin Doležal, Ph.D. Title of Doctoral Thesis: Relationship between structure and biological activity of new modulators of acetylcholinesterase This work focuses on the preparation of peripherally acting AChE inhibitors as a potential treatment of myasthenia gravis. These compounds could also be used as a pre- treatment of poisoning by organophosphorus AChE inhibitors. They can occupy the active site of an enzyme making it inaccessible for irreversible inhibitors. Compounds used in this indication should fulfill these requirements: inhibit efficiently AChE (standards currently used in the treatment were chosen for the comparison of the inhibitory efficacy), have selective effect on AChE and not to cross the blood-brain barrier in order to lower the possible side effects. Six series of bisquaternary compounds were prepared. Their inhibitory ability was determined in vitro against human erythrocyte or recombinant AChE and human plasmatic BChE. According to inhibitory ability values acquired, a structure - activity relationships were investigated in every series. A few compounds with significant affinity towards...

Spread of delay on railway network
Straka, Martin ; Pergel, Martin (referee) ; Babilon, Robert (advisor)
Title: Spread of delay on railway network Author: Martin Straka Department: Department of Applied Mathematics Supervisor: Mgr. Robert Babilon Supervisor's e-mail address: babilon@kam.ms.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The subject of this work is a simulation of late trains spreading in railway net. This program shows the single simulations and creates their statistics according to different criteria (for example changing waiting periods or changes in crossing of the trains). This work evaluates and compares the results. Next point of this work is an effort to suggest the most appropriate criteria in order to prevent the train lag. Another element of this work includes searching for weak points in grafikon, which includes the trains that are late more frequently than other or do not wait for an arrival of the previous ones on their way because of the great lag. Keywords: trains, late, simulation, statistic Keywords: trains, late, simulation, statistic

Environmental issues on the pages of magazines for children and youth
MARKOVÁ, Kristýna
Diploma thesis deals with the environmental issue on the pages of magazines for children and youth. In the theoretical part I focus on the cross-cutting theme of environmental education based on the Framework of Educational Programme that aimes at helping young people to build socially desirable behavior and values necessary for their future life. The practical part presents the content analysis of the specified titles in order to analyse the occurence of the issue. An important part of the thesis is the incorporation of the magazines into the environmental education and elaborating teaching units and their implementation into the educational process on the 2nd level of primary school.

Title: Monte Carlo Simulations of the Tile Calorimeter and Measurement of the Z → ττ Cross Section with the ATLAS Detector Author: Mgr. Jana Nováková Department: Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics (IPNP) Supervisor: RNDr. Tomáš Davídek, PhD., IPNP Supervisor's e-mail address: davidek@ipnp.troja.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: The Monte Carlo simulations of the Tile calorimeter in the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, especially the electronic noise and multiple interactions (co-called pile-up), are discussed in the thesis. A good agreement in the cell energy distribution between data and Monte Carlo simulations is found. The cross section measurement of Z → ττ events with the ττ invariant mass between 66 and 116 GeV with the ATLAS experiment is described in the next part of the thesis. Data samples collected during 2011 corresponding to the integrated luminosity of 1.34 - 1.55 fb−1 are used for the analysis. The measurements are performed in three different final states depending on the decay mode of the τ leptons. The measurement in the channel with one τ lepton decaying leptonically into the electron + neutrinos (schematically τ → e + νe + ντ ) and the other one hadronically (schematically τ → hadrons + ντ ), especially the calculation of the nominal cross section and the evaluation of the systematic...

Secondary school analytic geometry with internet
Končel, Jan ; Voráčová, Šárka (referee) ; Robová, Jarmila (advisor)
The first part of the Thesis looks at, examins and evaluates existing czech and english web pages dedicated to coordinate geometry studies. Based on this research, in the second part new web pages are created, which focus on coordinate geometry studies of secondary school level. They try to overlook any mistakes found and on the contrary look for inspiration in what was valuable and interesting. The text covers the following topics: Cartesian coordinates, vectors, coordinate geometry in 2D, coordinate geometry in 3D, conic sections and sphere. The web pages above all contain definitions, statements and their proofs. All is supported by tens of schematic pictures, cross references, index of definitions and dynamic Java applets. Students can test their knowledge directly in Java applets, through selection of solved exercises or by using generated tests.
