Heating of low-energy houses

Low-energy houses are becoming more common and requested. This work describes possibilities and various ways of space heating in such houses. It also analyses specific energy sources, their availability as well as an environmental impact. The work includes a design of heating for a display low-energy house.

Design of heating system of office building

This master’s thesis deals with the design of the heating system and hot water heating for the office building of the office of the Brno-Líšeň Municipality. It is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part deals with a brief division and analysis of heat sources for buildings from economic side. The second calculation part deals with the design of the heating system in 2 variants. These consist of the design and calculations of heat losses, dimensioning of the heating system, preparation of hot water, design of the heat source and other components. In the first variant, the design of central heating is solved using the most commonly used panel heating elements. In the second variant, the design is solved using design tube radiators. The last part of the diploma thesis is devoted to the design and analysis of heat sources for heating, using the Energetika software. Their comparison from an economic point of view as well as from an ecological point of view.

Design of heating system of office building

The diploma thesis aims to design a heating system in an administrative building and also to create a simulation for this building. The theoretical part describes simulation programs dealing with energy demand and monitoring the internal parameters of the inner climate. The calculation part solves the heating system's design in two heat source variants – a heat pump and a gas condensing boiler. In the last part, there is a model of the building created in WUFI Plus and the simulations are described under different input condition boundaries.

Design of a heating system for a new apartment building

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a heating system of a new apartment building. The theoretical part deals with energy and heat sources. The calculation part includes a proposal for heating the new apartment building. It is a three-storey building with a basement and 17 apartments for a total of 46 people. Two condensing boilers are designed as a heat source and a storage heater for hot water preparation. Heating is provided by panel radiators.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on search of one of the many methods of home heating systems, specifically on heat pumps. The first part describes the structure of heat pumps, the principle of how they work, main types, their two most important parameters and comparison of them to other systems of heating. The second part contains comparison of individual heating systems from economical point of views on a selected model house.

Heating system of educational facility

The aim of diploma thesis is describes the design of heating in a primary school in Trenčín. In this project are two variants of the heat source. The first variant is heat pump of an air/water of split design and second variant is two gas condensing boilers. The thesis includes hot water preparation. In the experimental part of the thesis is deals with heating output of radiators.

Proposal heat sources for home heating

This bachelor’s thesis deals with heating and selection of appropriate heat sources for family houses. The first chapter describes heat sources used for heating by type of fuel. The second part is devoted to calculation of the energy balance and the amount of heat required for a particular object. According to the results, five possible options are selected. At the end, the economic evaluation of the selected heat sources are processed and the most suitable one is selected. The attachment provides floor plan, section, list of the elements (windows and front door) and also appearance of the house.

Optimization of Flat House Heating

This diploma thesis deals with the supply of heat in a particular block of flats in Brno. It deals with supply for heating and for hot water heating. The introduction gives information about the considerated building and also generally, but especially with regard to the current situation with consumption and heat supply. Subsequently, the thesis describes the individual possibilities of obtaining heat. There are mentioned classical heat sources as gas boilers, but also less commonly used as co-generating units or solar collectors. Furthermore, the work is calculating from the technical and economic point of view for heating options chosen by the investor. Finally, the work compares the options from viewpoint of benefits, budgets and returns of possible investments.
