Implementation of regional marketing in development of selected region, municipality

Marketing can be broadly applied not only in the manufacturing sector but also in many other areas of life. It can be successfully used to promote regions and villages. This particular type of marketing brings together many other varieties of marketing: marketing of non-profit sector, marketing of services, marketing of tourism or marketing of regions. The usage of marketing for promotion of regions can have many varieties. It can be promotion of village for various segments of population to attract new residents, tourists or potential investors. Marketing can stress out some extraordinary feature of the village or put emphasis on the differentiation of the region compared to the other locations. Such differentiation can include creation of job opportunities, improvement of infrastructure, better conditions for new investors or accent on the environmental and health aspects. Marketing can't be seen as purely propagation, it is forming new view where the location is treated as product and the users as potential customers, which should benefit from the product and whose needs should be satisfied by the product. The promotion can't be forgotten as besides advertisement it includes also creation of brand, building of image and positive public relation Complex urban marketing (as the ultimate form of city marketing) creates concept for city development, which utilizes the partnership of all stakeholders who have interest on the development of given area. Cooperation and communication between all partners from private, public or company sectors enables exchange of knowledge of the participants, support of same goals, setting of same priorities and evaluation of selected approaches from various angles. The common target is to increase the attractiveness of the city and improvement of the competitiveness as well as boosting of the citizens identity.
Use of Individualization and Differentiation in the Physics Lessons

The master's thesis focuses on individuation and differentiation in our education system. The present work explains the concepts of individualization and differentiation, various types of differentiation, their possible pitfalls, their history and the applications of differentiation and individuation in alternative schools. The thesis includes a conversation with a physics teacher, analysis of annual elementary school reports, and an experiment. The experiment included a non-standardized achievement test and a survey.
Building relationship with customers in Supply Chain Management

Application of supply chain management is still relatively recent practice, but it's importance is growing over time. Today, in the era of customer centricity, in order to become competitive firms shouldn't avoid collaboration with it's supply chain partners. Purpose of my thesis was to find out how supply chain management can contribute to building relationship with customers, who are the basis of any existing company. First part summarizes knowledge about supply chain, compeptitive strategies, customers, types of supply chains and customer relationship management. Particular part is dedicated to customer service and how supply chain management can contribute to it's improving. It describes also what meaning has customer service for future competitiveness. In second part, I presented the case of Zappos.com. E-retailer, which aligning entire functional strategies and whole supply chain to common strategic purpose managed to build excellent relationship with it's customers.
Návrh konkurenční strategie pro společnost Trafin Oil, a.s. s cílem dosažení udržitelné konkurenční výhody

The objective of this thesis is to propose a business strategy that would result in sustainable competitive advantage for Trafin Oil, a.s. - a Czech company operating on the waste oil market. In order to accomplish the stated objective, extensive research has been performed into the existing body of literature on the subject. Frameworks for analysis of the competitive situation are presented and applied thoroughly in the practical part. Moreover, to better comprehend Trafin Oil, a.s. strategic position a customer survey was conducted and extensive interviewing took place. Based on the applied frameworks and the insights gathered throughout the research, the thesis delivers a strategy which rests on developing a unique strategic position and involves different sets of activities to deliver its value proposition. The strategy ought to guarantee higher collection stability and generate substantially higher profits.
Differentiation of European Integration Process

The main task of the thesis entitled Differentiation of European Integration Process is historical excursus into the development of the policy of differentiation and flexibility within the European integration member countries. The thesis points out the comparison of the speeches delivered by leading representatives that helped forming theoretical basis of this european policy. The thesis then also characterises the main models of differentiated collaboration and evaluates their present contribution and future utilisation. With help of theoretical foundings the thesis then analyses three particular examples of differentiation in existing European integration process.

The bachelor thesis "Differentiation - increase in differences between advanced and developing countries" focuses on the increasing differences between the two main segments of world economy, namely between advanced economies on the one hand and developing on the other hand. This differentiation will be justified, evidenced and accompanied by concrete facts, symptoms and tendencies. The goal of this thesis is to analyse the principal aspects of this theme, i.e. to define participants, symptoms, causes and consequences of the given phenomenon and eventual future development. Furthermore to compare relations between advanced and developing countries in mid-twentieth century and today whereas emphasis is especially placed on the changing position of developing countries within last twenty years, and to describe the role of dynamic developing countries in the present world economy and their present and future relation with advanced countries. The structure of thesis will be divided into seven main chapters and them respective subchapters which comprise key segments of given problems.
Economic and Social Differentiation of Regions in Turkey at the Beginning of 21. Century

The bachelor thesis deals with economic and social differences between regions in Turkey. The aim of the work is to confirm that Turkey is a country with huge regional disparities and to describe and analyze the most problematic areas. The text is divided into three parts. The first chapter compares regions according to selected population, demographic, social and economic characteristics. The second chapter focuses on selected problems of regions. The third chapter analyzes the main reasons and results of regional disparities in Turkey and reveals the most possible perspectives of development in Turkey's regions, regarding to Turkey's candidature into the EU and current economic situation of Turkey.
Differentiation And Efficiency Of Public Expenditures On Prevention And Fight Against Crime

This Bachelor thesis is concerned with the description and analysis of criminality in the Czech Republic and with related public expenditures. In the first part is an outline of common progress of criminology, individual schools and their approaches to influence crime. It brings closer view of economics dealing with the solutions to crime rates and with calculations of the social and individual crime costs. Situational analysis of crime in the Czech Republic, its sources, background and structure of supervisory authorities follows. One chapter is devoted to the female crime. The second part analyzes the correlation between the crime rates, public expenditures on crime prevention and crime repression from national and regional perspectives. The main issue of this work is the efficiency of public expenditures on the prevention and regression of the crime in the Czech Republic.
IKEA - a project for a specific segment of small businesses

Práce popisuje podstatu projektu, jeho realizaci a přínos jak pro společnost tak pro její zákazníky.
