Vodivé filmy poly[(ethylendioxy)thiofénu]
Biler, B. ; Vrbová, H. ; Nešpůrek, Stanislav
Poly[3,4-(ethylenedioxy)thiophene] films were prepared by oxidative polymerization using iron(III) tosylate in alcoholic medium. The films form two types of layers; the first deposited, insoluble layer shows AC electrical conductivity ranging from 35 to 40.S.cm.sup.-1./sup., the top, soluble layer shows a much higher conductivity.

Mačkal, Adam ; Hazdra, P. ; Hulicius, Eduard ; Pangrác, Jiří ; Melichar, Karel
Electro-optical characterisation of semiconductor lasers with very thin strained InAs layers in GaAs. The lasers exhibit high optical recombination efficiency, low threshold current and capability to operate at elevated temperatures

Importance of Transporter Proteins for Fetal Protection
Hahnová, Lenka ; Štaud, František (advisor) ; Anzenbacher, Pavel (referee) ; Geršl, Vladimír (referee)
Doctoral thesis Mgr. Lenka Hahnová (Cygalová) Placenta, which represents a unique link between the mother and fetus, fulfills many functions essential for normal course of pregnancy and uncomplicated development of the fetus. Nutrient supply, gas exchange and metabolic waste product removal belong to its main roles. In addition, placenta serves as an endocrine, metabolic, immune and protective organ, since during pregnancy mother may be, either unconsciously or deliberately, exposed to a wide range of substances toxic for the fetus. Originally, it was supposed that the physiological barrier between maternal and fetal circulation is created only by cellular layers of syncytiotrophoblast and endothelium of fetal capillaries. However, it has been demonstrated that besides this mechanical component of protection, activity of drug efflux transporters and metabolic enzymes localized in the polarized syncytiotrophoblast layer contribute considerably to the protective function of placental barrier. Efflux transporters are ATP dependent membrane proteins capable of actively removing different molecules out of cells. So far, the best described drug efflux transporters are P-glycoprotein (P-gp) and breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP), significantly affecting kinetics of transplacental passage of various...

Obsah základních forem přístupného dusíku v lesních půdách
Vicher, Matouš
Flows of nitrate ions NO3- and amonnium ions NH4+ in biologically active layers of soil were measured, using ionexes, at forest stands in northern -- eastern regions of Czech republic, between May and September, 2010. Seasonal amounts, expressed in mg.(m2)-1, were analysed, focused on its relations with tree species compositon, impact of tree rhisosphere (location of ionexes close to the tree stems, or in a few meters distance), and forest altitudinal vegetation zones. NO3- showed significantly higher values, as compared to NH4+, and its values were more influenced by tree species composition. Norway spruce (Picea Abies [L.] Karst.), European birch (Betula pendula Roth.) and European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) were recognised as a tree species with significantly low seasonal amounts of nitrogen ions NO3-. Sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) was recognised as a tree species with the significantly wide range of NH4+seasonal amounts values. Impacts of forest altitudinal vegetation zones, and tree rhisosphere, were recognised as insignificant, respectively inconclusive

Push Out Test: Numerical Study of the Influence of Concrete Part Width on Load Test
Holušová, Táňa ; Klusák, Jan ; Seitl, Stanislav
The concrete and steel are often performed by mechanical connectors, which are resistant against shear load. These connectors can be subjected to adverse effect, which is high concentration level of tension in connectors or their tendency to corrosion. By using bonded joint such as an epoxy layer gritted by granulates it is possible to avoid these negative effects. The aim of the contribution is to show the influence of the various concrete block widths on values of the maximum load. The modelling was performed by 2D software ATENA (Červenka Consulting)

VILARO Family Winery, Velké Bílovice
Zálešák, Roman ; Semrád, Antonín (referee) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of a project Family Winery VILARO in Velké Bílovice. It consists of two objects. The first is a guesthouse with a restaurant and the second is a production building with a tasting room. The guesthouse is submitted in the stage of building design. Production facility, a winery, is discussed further as the implementation project. The winery is located in a slightly sloped terrain. It has one partially cellared ground floor. The roof is atypical, one part is sloped triple-coated shed roof, second part is flat with stabilizing layer. The support systém mainly consists of brick blocks, ferroconcrete walls, ferroconcrete boards, ferroconcrete beam ceiling and prestressed concrete ceiling panels Spiroll. The project assumes using of typical building materials.

Fire Station Type C2
Wojcik, Jindřich ; Dohnal, Jakub (referee) ; Fuciman, Ondřej (advisor)
Diplom thesis is about design of the fire station of type C2 for the HZS. The building is divided into two parts. First part of a building is designed as a rectangular recessed floor. The first part of building consists of two floors and one underground floor. Roofed by a single-layer flat roof of soft PVC. The building will be used to perform the services, the fire brigade. It will be used 24 hours a day. In the basement is located warehouse, HVAC room, utility room and a lounge with an alternative source of electricity. On the first floor are designed garages for storage technique and also the dressing room, workroom, washing box, warehouse, room for chemical-technical service and concierge. The second floor is designed to serve firefighters. The second part of the building is a training tower, which will be used to train firefighters and for drying hoses. The training tower is designed as a simple steel structure with four floors. The project was developed in the educational version of ArchiCAD 16th project is designed in accordance with the requirements of a layout, architectural design, structural design proper and safe use of the building.

Lift-Off technique using different e-beam writers
Chlumská, Jana ; Kolařík, Vladimír ; Krátký, Stanislav ; Matějka, Milan ; Urbánek, Michal ; Horáček, Miroslav
This paper deals with lift–off technique performed by the way of electron beam lithography. Lift–off is a technique mainly used for preparation of metallic patterns and unlike etching it is an additive technique using a sacrificial material – e.g. e–beam resist PMMA. In this paper we discussed technique of preparation of lift–off mask on two different e–beam writing systems. The first system was BS600 – e–beam writer with rectangular variable shaped beam working with 15keV. The second system was Vistec EBPG5000+ HR – e–beam writer with Gaussian shape beam working with 50 keV and 100 keV. The PMMA resist single layer and bi–layer was used for the lift–off mask preparation. As a material for creation of metallic pattern, magnetron sputtered chromium was used. Atomic force microscope, scanning electron microscope and contact profilometer were used to measure and evaluate the results of this process.

Qualitative and quantitative analysis of clay soils
Šašek, Petr ; Viani, Alberto ; Mácová, Petra
Smectite-to-illite conversion is an important mineralogical reaction that occurs during the diagenesis ofargillaceous sediment. Illite–smectite clay minerals are ubiquitous in sedimentary basins and they have been linked to the maturation, migration and trapping of hydrocarbons, rock cementation, evolution of porewater chemistry during diagenesis and the development of pore pressure. But, despite the importance of these clays, their structures are controversial. By combining layers of octahedra and tetrahedra several types of layered structures may be produced, which can form various types of clay minerals in nature. Clay minerals are divided into three main groups: kaolinite, smectite and illite. The aim of the study was to qualitatively and quantitatively analyse the clay minerals in soil samples and identification of unknown mineral found by exploration works. For this purpose XRD, Raman spectroscopy and SEM were employed.
