Adapting the methodology MMSP for development web applications in ASP.NET MVC and its usage on a real project
Velemínský, Filip ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Vít, Jan (referee)
The subject of this thesis was agile development on ASP.NET web development platform. The main goal was to create new methodology MMSP - ASP.NET MVC by adjusting methodology MMSP for development in ASP.NET MVC framework, which was mainly achieved through the definition of new objects in the methodology. Text describes four newly created roles (eg. Database specialist) which are responsible for application development. Text also defines or modifies several tasks (eg. Database design) and work products (eg. Data model). All added objects were integrated into the methodology by adjusting its life cycle. At first, thesis was generally focused on the development of web applications, defined their characteristics and analyzed the possibilities of using agile development. Then the MMSP methodology was presented and verified its suitability for the planned extension. Furthermore, there was described the ASP.NET MVC framework, its architecture and basic characteristics. In the last chapter of this thesis methodology MMSP-ASP.NET MVC was verified on the example of development database management web application for the Anthropological Department of the National Museum in Prague.

This thesis entitled -The role of management in human resources management and stimulation human resources in the hospital- is considering primarily in general management role and functions of the hospital and secondly by examining the empirical (questionnaire survey, of senior management in hospital Vinohrady). In the first part I will focus on explaining the specifics of human resource management in hospital and the hospital as a different type of organization. Here we find the basic organizational scheme of the hospital, it is structure and management. The second part deals with the survey will focus on the management of the Vinohrady hospital, staff satisfaction with the hospital management. The result of the first and second part would be to compare with the theoretical concepts applied in the Vinohrady hospital staff and a realistic view on the issue by the staff.

Procurement of Transportation Services in Anheuser-Busch InBev
Ivashkevich, Alexandra ; Vinš, Marek (advisor) ; Kolář, Petr (referee)
Nowadays, companies involved in the international trade and production of goods in order to retain customers and increase market share are forced to assure excellence in the performance at all stages of their supply chains. Transportation plays critical role and can be argued to be the most crucial link in the supply chain determining its success or failure. However, regardless of such high importance, this process is very often outsourced as companies do not possess sufficient expertise and resources to deploy this function in-house. Thus, companies have to develop effective strategies and plan their procurement activities accordingly and then manage the outcome. There is not a lot of studies that would take a narrow look at the development of procurement strategy for transportation services in particular. This work is aimed to get the insight and discuss strategic, planning level and post operational evaluation of the procurement of transportation services and explore practical implication on the example of AB InBev through in-depth interviews with company employees. As an outcome this work is aimed to provide an outline of the company performance, value added or negative aspects as a result of application of previously discussed strategies.

Author:Veronika Pospíšilová Department: Department ofInformation Technology and TechnicalEducation Title: The use of experiential education during practical activities of children in kindergarten Supervisor:Doc. Ing Jitka Vodáková, CSc. Abstract: The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze experiential education and its role in pre-school education. The aim is to demonstrate on particular examples the positive influence experiential education has on child's personality development between the age of 3 and 7. The thesis explains general principles used in experiential education such as motivation, rules, evaluation of the process, psychological aspects, and teachers' training. The analysis reflects the historical context which led to the development of experiential education. Additionally, it draws upon scientific knowledge about child's development; namely, personality and social development, speech development, and development of perceptional, cognitive, and motor skills. The thesis also explains the importance of practical activities, narration, and role-playing in pre- school education. Key words: experiential education, practical activities, kindergarten, practical learning

Model of the metropolitan optical network
Prudík, Jiří ; Hudcová, Lucie (referee) ; Křivák, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this master’s thesis is foremost to provide a simple guide how to build elements of optical metropolitan area network. The basic model consists to sequence of construction, network topology, passive and active parts. The collection contains examples of alternative technology such as Wireless LAN with different frequency. The optical network construction based on optical cable, fibres, splices, trays, adapters, connectors and active parts for example a lot of media convertor models. After that there are demonstrating type of wavelength division multiplexer used in metropolitan area network – passive planar PCL splitter. One of the passive planar splitter are used to increase optical fibre channel. At the end of the collection a simplified examples of used measurements – optical time domain reflectometry and optical fibre transmission. Contains standard protocols or reflectogram. The conclusion of this thesis summarizes costs of FTTb (Fibre To The Building) model of optical metropolitan area network in Czech republic and future contribution for society.

Analysis of intron sequence variability
Kukačková, Hana ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Kubicová, Vladimíra (advisor)
This bachelor thesis reviews genetic expression, the main characteristics of introns, their importance, and the methodology of their recognition. Practical part focuses on intron variability analysis and conservative sequences searching. In the beginning, there is a structure of nucleic acids with their chemical and physical characteristics reviewed, follow by gene expression description with all steps – transcription, posttranscriptional splicing and translation. Afterwards, there is an analysis of introns importance, introns evolution theories and similarities among different organisms mentioned, follow by some introns recognition methods. Practical part is focused on the initial and terminal regions of introns and conservative dinucleotide sequences verifying. The thesis studies intron – exon and exon – intron boundaries. The last part tries to suggest new potentially conservative sequences – patterns, search for them and check their conservativeness.

High-pressure partial melting and its relationship to the granulite facies metamorphism: Implications for the origin of felsic high-PT granulites in the Bohemian Massif, central Europe
Nahodilová, Radmila ; Faryad, Shah Wali (advisor) ; Janák, Marian (referee) ; Kryza, Ryszard (referee)
Felsic granulites from the Kutná Hora complex in the Moldanubian zone of central Europe preserve mineral assemblage that record transition from early eclogite to granulite facies conditions, and exhibit discordant leucocratic veining, which is interpreted as evidence for melt loss during the decompression path. The granulites are layered and consist of variables proportions of quartz, ternary feldspar, garnet, biotite, kyanite, and rutile. In the mesocratic layers, garnet grains show relatively high Ca contents corresponding to 28-41 mol. % grossular end member. They have remarkably flat compositional profiles in their cores but their rims exhibit an increase in pyrope and a decrease in grossular and almandine components. In contrast, garnets from the leucocratic layers have relatively low Ca contents (15-26 mol. % grossular) that further decrease towards the rims. In addition to modelling of pressure-temperature pseudosections, compositions of garnet core composition, garnet rim- ternary feldspar-kyanite-quartz equilibrium, ternary feldspar composition, and the garnet- biotite equilibrium provide five constraints that were used to constrain the pressure- temperature path from eclogite through the granulite and amphibolite facies. In both layers, garnet cores grew during omphacite and phengite dehydration...

Structure and characteristics of mutant hPrp31 in Retinitis pigmentosa
Těšina, Petr ; Staněk, David (advisor) ; Lišková, Petra (referee)
Retinitis pigmentosa is a hereditary eye disease causing progressive loss of photoreceptor cells, which leads to an irreversible sight handicap and eventually complete blindness. It is a major cause of visual handicap or blindness with very heterogenous genetic background. There are four genes accounting for retinitis pigmentosa that encode splicing factors necessary for spliceosomal assembly and function. Unlike any of the other known genes associated with this disease, these are all expressed ubiquitously throughout the human body. Intriguingly, the mutant forms of these vital splicing factors cause cell-type specific disease affecting only photoreceptor cones and rods. Molecular mechanisms underlying this cell-type specific effect remain elusive. One of these splicing factors is the hPrp31 protein. Its mutant form known as AD29 is the focal point of this thesis. Some of the effects of this mutation on the cellular level have been discovered recently. A creation of the expression vector followed by expression and purification of the truncated hPrp31 protein carrying the AD29 mutation is presented in this thesis. The purified product has been used for production of a αhPrp31 polyclonal rabbit antibody, whose applicability to western blot and immunofluorescence staining has been verified. Moreover...
