Title: Functional disorders in the foot by members of the Honor Guard of the Army of the Czech Republic Objectives: The thesis deals with the activities of soldiers Honor Guard and leg problems arising therefrom. The intention of the theoretical part is generally characterize the activity Honor Guard units, anatomical structure and kinesiology feet, including functional and structural pathology. The aim of the study was to analyze how subjective Musculoskeletal problems are most commonly found among soldiers and assess the impact of the standard used by prestige and sports shoes on his feet when the functional aspects of the activities simulating workloads soldiers. Methods: To obtain basic data on individual participants in research is used surveys using non-standardized anamnesis questionnaire. The main research method to develop practical part of the thesis was to strain gauge device (measuring system) Pedar-X detection and evaluation of plantar pressure, force, contact area and contact time. For processing and evaluation of the data obtained was used program Pedar-X Standard version 3.19.30. Physiotherapist laboratory CASRI was carried out by soldiers basic clinical examination. Title Evaluation of the effect of physiotherapeutic approaches in painful conditions of the cervical spine. Objectives The aim of this thesis is to find out, which physiotherapy methods and techniques are used for pain of cervical spine, and to evaluate their effect. The study also aims to summarize current knowledge on this issue. Methods The thesis is processed through the method of literature review and is of analytical and descriptive nature. The used studies meet all pre-determined criteria. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part, general information, describes mainly the physiotherapy methods and techniques that are used for treatment of pain in cervical spine. The second part, results, summarizes these physiotherapy approaches and evaluates their effect. The study concludes with a discussion that is focused on the two main questions of the thesis. Results A total of 25 studies met the criteria for inclusion in this thesis. These studies show that the physiotherapy methods and techniques currently used in painful conditions of cervical spine, include: mobilization and manipulation of cervical, possibly thoracic spine, therapeutic exercise, massage, McKenzie therapy, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, conservative interventions, and educational and physical programs....

Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with pain in the elderly and possibilities of physiotherapy influence on it. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The aim of this work is to summarize theoretical information about pain, its treatment and to compare the effect of two therapeutic systems of physical activity (sokol and tai-chi exercises), what will determine the physiotherapy influence on pain of elderly people. The theoretical part includes description of the pain, its classification, physiology and various methods of its treatment. I also described old age and physiological changes of the organism that related to it. The practical part deals with settled objectives, detecting and comparing the effects of two therapeutic systems of exercising. I used a semistructured interview to collect data, that were compiled into synaptic charts. After the data were collected for my research, the results have been analyzed and evaluated. Myofascial headaches causes and physiotherapy treatment option

This bachelor thesis is written in form of background research. The aim of this study was to summarize types of myofascial headaches, causes and treatment options in the field of physical therapy. This thesis focuses as well on comparsion of recent foreign scientific studies concerned with nonfarmacological treatment of headaches in general. First part of the thesis describes forms of headaches, mostly treatable with physical therapy. One chapter is dedicated to myofascial trigger points. In the other part physical therapy treatments are explained and compared individually, enumeration of physical therapy techniques, which are used and signifi cantly effect live in treatments of headaches as migraine, tension type headache and cervigenic headache. Myofascial trigger point dry needling

The historical roots of dry needling go back to the fist half of the 20th century. According to huge spread of issues connected with myofascial trigger points in society, dry needling is together with other therapeutic methods more and more on the front burner all around the world. This bachelor thesis is theoretical and introduces dry needling as possible treatment of myofascial pain and myofascial pain syndrome. The first part is focused on characteristic of myofascial trigger points, in the next part is written detailed description of dry needling. Emphasis is put on explanation of mechanism of dry needling, its description, safety principles and possible contraindications. Different techniques, that can be used, and possible effects, including side effects, are described afterwards. Next part is devoted to case report of patient, who could be recommended for dry needling. Psychological aspects of headache

This thesis focuses on the psychological aspects of headaches from different perspectives which can affect patient's life. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. The first one is devoted to the characteristics of different types of headaches and serves as a theoretical-neurologic background for the following chapters focused on the psychological aspects as mentioned. Next chapters are a mainstay of the thesis that deal with the psychological aspects as possible symptoms of headaches; accompanying psychological phenomenas which patient may face while having a pain attack and also psychological consequences of this health problem. The last chapter is dedicated to the co-morbidity of psychiatric disorders with migraine. In the empirical part a research project exploring the correlation of personality traits and headaches is presented. Title The issue of groin injuries and risk factors affecting this type of injuries among football players. Objectives The main objective of this thesis is to summarize theoretical findings regarding the groin injuries among soccer players and to prove efficiency of preventive training program aimed at reduction of groin injuries incidence in soccer players. Methods The theoretical part deals with the given issue as a research and theoretical overview of the current findings, based on Czech and especially foreign literature. Findings of theoretical part were obtained by foreign periodicals, monographies and electronic database, mostly PubMed and PEDro. In the second part of thesis a preventive training program was applied at a specific group of soccer players (n=42) in age U16 (n=20) and U17 (n=22). Selected group of probands performed preventive intervention training once a week for 6 months. After that results were compared with the same time of season in the previous year, when no preventive measures had been taken. Information about previous injury has been obtained by non-standardized questionnaire. Title of the thesis Diagnosis of the overload the anterior part of the shoulder joint in elite swimmers and the possibility of compensation Thesis aim The aim of this thesis is to look into a group of elite swimmers with a specific pain in the anterior part of the shoulder joint, to determine the cause of the pain and then to create a plan compensation. Methods The thesis was scientific - research quantitative study, which had the character of an experiment. That was attended by 14 probands between 15-30 years of a different swimming styles of the sport sector ,,swimming". The principle was to determine the causes of pain in the anterior part of the shoulder joint using aspection and palpation examination, examination of joint play and special tests for instability of the shoulder joint, tests on the tendon of the long head of the m. biceps brachii, tests on the rotator cuff and tests of the m. pectoralis major. Finally was built a compensation program, which will prevent the shoulder pain. Results Hypotheses that i chose at the beginning of the research, were confirmed in two cases.
