The proposal focuses on phasing scenario and identify how to treat the monument intact, but she fully exploit the current way. These phases are hierarchically established, without continuing into the next stage. Because the mill building to respond flexibly to the specific needs of communities. The concept is based on the gradual additive laminate and function. Layering and arise solely the premises, but also the interconnections, which between them generate more interaction. Each material has its own particular character and its own hierarchy towards other functional masses.

Adaptation of Brtnice Castle

The basic objective is of adaptation of the castle is integration to tourism development in the region and simultaneously make the castle and town more attractive for residents. The resort´s own castle is functionally divided into three centers. The first courtyard is the tourist center of the region, the second courtyard recreation center and third courtyard cultural centre. Three courtyard are surrounded by restored rampart promenade, which also connects the castle courtyard with recreational and educative castle park, in which are stationed various pavilions informing tourists about the historical, architectural and natural values of Brtnice and its environs. In the park is also located amphitheater for cultural and musical events. The castle has become a great park of activities pulling into its bowels town visitors and inhabitants of Brtnice themselves. The main dominant of the complex is new tower Brtnice, which grows on the historic footprint of burnt tower. High-tech architecture of tower attracts visitors of the city and is the starting point of castle viewing. It brings together the functions of the Information Center, phaenomania, souvenir shop, cafe and roof garden, which is also a cafe terrace and outlook. Oriels of tower are oriented to the surrounding important historical monuments. Visitors pass through peripheral “gallery of knowledge” and recognize beauty of the town and its environs.

Renovation of Historic Vehicle Praga

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to elaboráte a metodology of basic tasks of historic vehicle renovation. It also provides a brief overview of the history of the famous car factory Praga. It describes a method of renovation of a specific vehicle’s chassis including a list of main problems of renovation and description of construction of a new car body because the old one has not been preserved.

Bridge crane reconstuction

Bachelor's thesis is focused on renovating the bridge crane. The main aim of this thesis is to design all the drives and the design of mechanical parts, which will be the replacement engine also renovate. This work is divided into two parts. The first part is a documented original condition of the bridge crane and a second part of this thesis deals with the actual calculation of each propulsion and design mechanical parts.

Guesthouse Repechy - renewal and extension of farmhouse

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the reconstruction of a neglected farm in a small village Repechy at Drahany Highlands. The original layout was traditional square with an inner courtyard. Later the building was completely rebuilt inappropriately (demolition of interior walls, roofing over the courtyard) and used for breeding cattle. The investor intend to reconstruct and extend the building so it can be used as a guesthouse providing additional features – a restaurant, a gym and an indoor pool with whirlpool, which are accessible to accommodated and external visitors. Estimated capacity is approximately 50 beds and the same number of seats in the restaurant. Due to the poor state of the majority of structures, only a small part of the original building is preserved, namely the northeast wing which was originally used as a residential area. The original walls and beamed ceilings are complemented by a new reinforced concrete shear ring and a new ceiling slab (for comparison height levels of floors in the 2nd floor and probably insufficient bearing capacity of the original ceiling). New parts of the building are built using the NOVATOP construction system of prefabricated panels made of solid wood. Under this system are resolved both outer and interior walls, ceilings and roof. Roof covering is made of fibre-cement roof tiles. Insulation is made mostly of wood-fibre boards by STEICO. The design of exterior of the building is using two colors - pure white plaster uniting old and new parts and platinum gray highlighting selected elements (cornices, window and door jambs).

Reconstruction of Family House

The main topic of the bachelor project is renovation of the row house. The plot exists in Brno- Židenice district, the house is a part of row structure, the streets with row houses create blocks. The goal of the work is renovation and extension of the building in order to create modern living unit while keeping the authentic character of the house. The building has three levels, one of them is under ground. The house has a living in the attic. The roof is a combination of flat and double pitched roof. The double pitched roof is original. Main entrance of the house is on the east side of the building, the dwelling unit is designed for family of four members. The essential purpose of the renovation was to open the house and the flat into the garden, thus expanding the floor area via extension of the house. The project consists of documentation, plans and detail design documentation of the building.

Rehabilitation of sewer connections and manholes on the sewer network

Bachelor`s thesis makes a summary of today`s state of methods designed for rehabilitation of sewer manholes and laterals. The work is then comparing them and provides examples of specific technologies for each method. There are recommendations for system operatives at the ends of corresponding chapters. Prediction of the future development of this sphere of civil engineering is situated at the end of theoretical part of bachelor`s work. Practical part of bachelor’s thesis is dealing with the analysis of defects of an existing sewer lateral and three manholes, with subsequent commentary of suitability for each rehabilitation method. The result is choosing the most suitable method for rehabilitation of sewer lateral and manholes.
